So I've made a decision regarding this series and...

I will be rewriting this book. So later on this book will be deleted and a new one will be made.

I will keep the same characters but there will be recasts, the relationships will remain the same and keeping the same story. There will be a few minor changes.

But here's my problem...which is Billy Hargrove.

I don't know if he's racist or not. It's been so long since I watched the first two seasons and I binged watched them both. Now I do remember him attacking Lucas at the end of that season. I also remember him nearly running Lucas over as well, don't remember the full extent but it had something to do with Max being mad at Lucas?

Now from what I've looked into, in the original script Billy was in fact racist because he was meant to say things he shouldn't be saying. But in the rewritten script, they changed things about his character and cut out the things he would have said originally.

I have been tempted many times to make Steve the love interest for Julie instead. But since her relationship with Eleven is one of the biggest storylines within this series, I can't have Julie over there with Steve in season three because she'll be helping Eleven. That's why I always considered having Steve be Sonia's love interest while Billy is Julie's love interest.

I was also going to give Billy character development, be a better big brother to Max and even become best friends with Steve.

What are your thoughts about this?

I also want to say this. I don't tolerate any type of racism towards any race nor any kind of hate towards the LGBTQ community. Just be kind and respectful towards people.
