"I wish we could actually stay here. You know, like a vacation." Tyra said.

"We can't, we need to do the prophecy business," Xander said. "Are you sure the fire lady was talking about the children of three kingdoms prophecy?"

"That's the problem, I don't know." Tyra replied. She walked over to a table inside the ferry boat and sat down. Xander sat down across from her. "When I told you about Phoenix, I was hoping you would have an idea. After all, you did do all that studying in that library. Anyways, what's the plan?"

"You're making a mistake asking me if I have a plan. As far as I know, we have to go through the the middle point of the Bermuda Triangle and swim straight down until we reach the entrance to Tidal. Then we'll decide what to do."

"Nice plan," Tyra said sarcastically.

"Can you come up with anything better?"

Tyra rolled her eyes and stood up. She walked over to the edge of the boat and stood against the railing. If not for the fear that was imprisoning her, Tyra might've enjoyed the view. The sea glittered as the boat whisked away. The sunlight was bright and blinding.

The view reminded Tyra of the time when she and her parents went to a cruise for the first time. She was only three or four during that time. Her mother taught Tyra fascinating facts about the ocean. Her father complained that Tyra never paid attention to him when he was explaining about the sky. The comment made her laugh hard.

Tyra's stomach clenched as she thought about the short time she spent with her parents. So little, but yet so precious. Tyra fought back tears and directed her mind to the prophecy.

What if Xander's right? Am I really the child that will solve the ancient mess? What is the mess? Why Xander out of all people? Did I make the right choice in running away? What would my aunt think? Parents?

Tyra groaned in frustration when no answers came to her. She trudged back inside and sat back down. Xander was nowhere in sight. Pretty soon, Tyra's eyes felt heavy. All the traveling made her feel exhausted. She closed her eyes and dreamed about her parents.

"Wake up!" She felt a nudge on her shoulder.

"Tyra, we need to leave now." Another tug.

"Ugh." Tyra forced her eyes open. Xander was standing next to her. "I want to go back to sleep."

"Tyra, we're here. It's the middle point of the triangle. We have to get out of the boat." Xander said.

"If we're already in the triangle, why isn't the weather bad?" Tyra said, still in dream mode.

The ferry boat started to sway a little and a little drizzle appeared.

"Whoops, spoke too soon."

Xander grabbed her arm and pulled her to the edge of the railing. The rain somehow sensed their next actions and poured harder. Xander's and Tyra's backpack seem to grow heavier on their backs.

"This is not a good sign. We have to jump off." Xander said.

"Wait, what?!" Tyra asked in shock. "Nobody said anything about jumping off! I'm not doing it."

"Yes you are. We have to do this, understand?" Xander met her gaze, his hazel eyes stern. "Trust me, a child of Tidal won't drown. Plus, the boat won't stay in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle for long."

The sky cried harder. As if it couldn't get any worse, lightning started flashing. Xander looked at Tyra with pleading eyes. She nodded, still very nervous.

"At the count of three." Xander said.
He grabbed Tyra's hand.

"One." Tyra took a deep breath.

"Two." She closed her eyes.

"Three!" Xander and Tyra jumped into the ocean.

The first thing Tyra felt was the cold water around her. She felt Xander's warm hand entwined with her own. She opened her eyes and realized that it didn't sting. Her vision didn't turn blurry, and she could see everything around her perfectly fine.

That's when Tyra realized that she was breathing normally. She looked down at her clothes, it wasn't wet. Her backpack also seemed pretty dry. She looked around her. Xander was grinning.

Like her, Xander was also dry and was breathing perfectly fine. "Cool right?"

Tyra's eye widened when she realized he was talking. Underwater. "Uhh..yeah!" Apparently, Tyra could also talk underwater. "What do we now?"

Xander opened his mouth, but then closed it immediately. Tyra turned to look at his direction. She could see silhouettes of....mermaids? Fish? Xander's voice interrupted her thoughts.

"We have to keep moving. Tyra, follow me. We're under attack."
