"Xander!"
Tyra said the following afternoon meeting. "What?"

She briefly explained about Phoenix and the prophecy. "I knew you were the one!" Xander exclaimed. "Wait. You have to go to Tidal, and I have to go with you?" Tyra nodded. He shook his head, his black hair flopping back and forth.

She sat down beside him. "What's wrong?" He sighed. "Remember when I told you that the kings and queens will go crazy if they found out a child of three lands exists?"

"You never told me that." Tyra said. "Well, they will." Xander looked at Tyra straight into her eye. She felt chills with his staring, it's like he was looking at her soul. "If they find out about you, they will KILL you."

Tyra shivered at that thought. Goosebumps crawled through her arms and her hands felt numb. "But Xander, I HAVE to go. I need to fulfill the prophecy. Please." He gave off another long sigh. "Fine. I'll come with you. However, you have to follow me; I'm more experienced at the other lands than you."

Tyra squealed and gave Xander a hug. "Thank you! I honestly can't wait for this."

"Yup." He took her arms off his chest. "You do know your aunt can't know, right?"

She stopped. "Then, how will I...."

Xander smiled. "A little something called, running away."
*******
During the night, Tyra went to bed like any other time. As she laid down, she reviewed the plan that Xander had brought before her.

"Okay. So when your aunt goes to bed, wait a moment before heading out. Once you go, meet me in the school's staff parking lot. I'll tell you what we'll do then."

"What should I bring?" Tyra had asked.

"Pack lightly. Bring an extra sweater and a few snacks. Do not bring any electronics, it'll just add up to the weight. Pack a pocket knife and a flashlight. Make sure the flashlight is charged fully and working. Please wear comfortable clothing, especially one that withstands, um, wind, water, and rain." Xander paused. "Ahem, any questions?"

"I have two. First, I'm pretty sure the staff parking lot is closed. Do I go in to meet you?"

"Just meet me in front of the gate."

"Second question: what do I do about my aunt? What if she calls the police?" Tyra asked.

"Oh, don't worry. Just leave her a note saying something about fulfilling a prophecy about the Three Kingdoms. She'll know." Xander said.

"Okay..." Tyra said, unconvinced with the idea.

Now, she was writing a quick note addressed to her aunt. She put it on her nightstand for Aunt Tia to read the following morning. Tyra got dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a T-shirt with a sweatshirt on. She tied her hair in her usual ponytail. Tyra packed everything Xander had told her with an exception of a family picture of her and her parents.

Once she double-checked everything, she slipped out the door, hoping she didn't make a sound. Tyra sprinted to her school, her backpack bouncing behind her. When she arrived, Xander was there waiting for her.

"C'mon. Did your aunt see you?"

Tyra nodded her head to assure him. "So...what are we going to do now?"

"Since we're going to Tidal, we'll have to go to the North Atlantic Ocean. We'll hitch a ride on a boat and sail towards the Bermuda Triangle."

"Wait," Tyra interrupted. "The Bermuda Triangle? As in the one where sailors and ships mysteriously disappear?"

"Yes, that Bermuda Triangle. Is there any other one?"

Tyra gulped. She had a feeling that this mission would be dangerous, but this is..scary. "Why are you scared?" Xander asked as if he read her thoughts.

"Who wouldn't? We might die!"

"Tyra." Xander put his hands on her shoulders. "First of all, you can't die, you're the one from the prophecy. Second of all, you are from Tidal. You're mom? She's from Tidal. You are from the water, it can't harm you. Do not worry."

Tyra took a deep breath. "Okay, we should start moving."

Xander smiled."That's the spirit. Next up, Miami, Florida."
