Ward's POV:

Skye suddenly comes bolting down the stairs. She must be smelling the pancakes.

"You're back." She says, happily.

"I am and I am making pancakes." I say.

"I didn't know that robots could cook!" She says in a loud, sarcastic tone.

I roll my eyes.

"What did you get?" She asks.

"I got the things that we needed." I say, calmly.

"Oh. Good." She says, blankly.

"Plus, I stopped at the snack isle to get us some chips, crackers,.........and even Oreos." I say, proudly.

I huge smile spreads across her face.
I made her happy. I like making her happy.

"Thank you, Ward!" She says, excitedly.

I smile at her. Skye is pretty easy to please. That is one of the things I like about her. All you have to do is give her Oreos and a good movie and she will be happy for the rest of the day.

I put the pancakes on a plate and sit down across from her.

"YES!!!! You made them with chocolate chips!!!" Skye screams.

"Just the way you like them." I reply.

"Wait. How do you know that?" She asks, confused.

"That is simple. You are always begging May to get chocolate chips when she goes to the store. And the one time she did, you put all of them on your pancakes."

She looks at me and laughs.

"Congratulations! You are no longer Grant Ward. You are Sherlock Holmes." She says while giggling.

Once again, I roll my eyes. She is always saying weird stuff like that. However, it usually takes a lot of my self control not to laugh at it. She has the best kind of sense of humor. The kind where you don't need to offend someone or hurt yourself to be funny. That is one of the other things I like about her.

"What do you want to do now?" Skye asks.

"Explore the town." I say without hesitation.

"Alright. Let's go." Skye replies.
