Ward's POV:

Skye exits the bathroom in her pajama's. She is wearing the same thing as usual. An oversized sweatshirt, baggy sweatpants, and long fuzzy socks. I love the way she looks in her PJ's. Then again, I love the way she looks in everything.

I give her a small smile before entering the bathroom and closing the door.

I exchange my nice, button-up shirt for a very comfortable, soft, gray t-shirt. And then I put on baggy sweatpants. They kind of look like Skye's.

When I exit the bathroom, Skye is on her phone. By the look on her face, I can tell she is texting Fitz and Simmons. Skye, Fitz, and Simmons all have a super secret group chat with each other. I have no idea what they talk about because Skye worked some hacker "magic" and made it nearly impossible for anyone else to access. However, based on how much she always laughs, I can tell that whatever they do talk about is pretty funny.

She types one more thing before she sets her phone down and looks at me. Suddenly, she bursts out laughing. It takes me a minute to figure out what she is laughing at before I realize it......... I have been standing here and smiling at her like an idiot for the last three minutes. I can tell I am staring to blush. That only seems to make her laugh harder.

I don't know why, but suddenly, I start laughing. Now, both of us are on the floor in tears.

Finally, we collect ourselves and get into bed. We make sure to stay as far away from each other as possible. However, a small part of me wishes that we wouldn't do that.

"Thanks again for tonight, Ward." Skye says.

"You're welcome." I reply, happily.

"I think that's the longest time you've ever laughed." She jokes.

"That's hilarious." I say, sarcastically.

Now that I think about it, that is the longest time I have ever laughed. Skye is changing me in so many good ways. I just wish I had the courage to tell her how I really feel. Although, I doubt she feels the same.

"Goodnight, Robot." She whispers.

"Goodnight, Rookie." I reply, softly.

I am so sorry that I didn't update yesterday! I was really tired last night and I was about to update, but I closed my eyes for two minutes and it was already morning! 😂 So I am really sorry!
