Author's POV
"Wait, Zac!" Champ called out as he ran out after Zac, who went after Hannah. What they didn't notice was a book titled, Night of the Living Dummy, lock clicked open. Like with the Abominable Snowman of Pasadena, a storm-like beam of light emerged out and the words floated off the page.

They formed into the most dangerous Goosebumps monster of all time, Slappy Wood. The puppet raised his head and looked around. He recognized the place. It was his papa's study. He growled at the thought of Stine. He was going to pay for trapping him in that damn manuscript.

He then looked over at the shelf filled with the books containing his friends. Including his husband of over 23 years, Grayson Wood. Slappy got up and walked over to the shelf. He looked over the array of book titles until he found the one he was looking for.

A book titled, Husband of the Living Dummy. He grabbed it off the shelf and looked back at the ground. There he saw the key that he needed. He grabbed it and unlocked the book.

Immediately, it flew out of his hands and landed on the ground. The same storm-like light came out of it and the words formed into the person Slappy wanted to see the most. Grayson stood up and rubbed his head. His eyes then landed on Slappy.

"Slappy!" Grayson cheered. He then ran over to his husband and hugged him tightly. The puppet hugged him back, a smile growing on his face. "Oh, My Love, I missed you so much..." Slappy whispered. "I missed you too, Chéri... I hated how long we were apart..."

"So did I, Gray... So did I..." They pulled away from the hug with smiles on both their faces. Grayson then wrapped his arms around Slappy's neck and kissed him deeply. The puppet was surprised, but melted into the kiss.

Grayson then jumped up and wrapped his legs around his husband's waist. Slappy gripped onto the doll's thighs before pressing him against the desk. The two pulled away, a trail of saliva following behind.

"God, I missed your kisses..." Slappy said, a smirk forming on his face. Grayson blushed and looked away. "C'mon, don't hide that handsome face of yours..." The puppet then grabbed the doll's chin and turned his head to face him.

"Don't tease me, Slappy..." Grayson grumbled. "Why not? Your reactions are always so cute," Slappy said. They then heard a voice. A very familiar one. "Hannah, you grab A to M, I'll get M to Z. And keep the man-eating plant away from the bug-eyes aliens!" The two heard Stine say. They turned to the doorway and saw Stine walk in with Hannah and two boys.

Stine then stopped when he saw the puppet and doll. "Oh, no..." "Hello, Papa," Slappy said while smirking. "How long's it been? Feels like forever." Grayson then looked over at the two boys. "Who are your new friends?" The doll asked.

"We're not friends." "Barely know him." "Slappy, Grayson, it's so nice to see you two again," Stine said. "Did you miss us?" Slappy asked. "Of course I missed you too..." Lightning then struck and Slappy and Grayson disappeared.

"So, what's the plan, friend?" Stine and the teens looked over to see Slappy and Grayson were now on the desk. Grayson was seated in Slappy's lap and cuddling into him. "You must've brought us out for something fun," Slappy said, now holding the key.

"Terrorize the locals? Destroy the town? Let's get silly!" "You guessed it, Slappy. I'm going to destroy Madison," Stine said, looking down at their books. "And I... And I couldn't do it without you two." "Aw, shucks, Stiney," Grayson said. "You're giving us... Oh, what's the word, Sweetie?"

"I believe it's Goosebumps." The two then bursted out laughing. "Oh, my God. They're so creepy..." Champ whispered. "Oh, they're such crack ups. Such a clever dummy and doll..." Grayson gasped, knowing that was Slappy's trigger word. He felt the puppet's grip on his ass tighten as he narrowed his eyes.

"Who are you calling "dummy," dummy?" Slappy asked angrily. He then looked down at the books. So did Grayson, who gasped when he saw what Stine was trying to do. "You're trying to put us back in, Stiney?" Grayson asked.

"No, no, no, no, no, no. Don't be silly," Stine said, trying to cover himself up very poorly. "I know when you're lying to me, Papa." Stine then made a grab for the book, but lightning crackled again. The two books were gone.

The sound of a match was then heard. Stine and the teens turned their heads to see Slappy and Grayson were now near the hole the Abominable Snowman made. Grayson held the two books in his hands while Slappy held a burning match.

"You've made Slappy very unhappy," Slappy said. "He and his husband aren't going back on the shelf ever again." "Slappy, no, wait!" However, it was too late. Slappy lit the books on the fire and took them from Grayson's hands. He then threw them to the side.

"I think it's time Grayson and I start pulling the strings in this relationship," Slappy said, wrapping his arm around Grayson's shoulders. "Tonight is gonna be the best story you've ever written." "All of your children are coming out to play. They've missed you terribly, Stiney," Grayson said as he bursted into laughter.
