Kirby POV
After the battle with Ifrit, Yuzuriha, Rimuru, & I are in a new hospital like hut with Shizu.

Shizu: Slime-san, Kirby-san, Yuzuriha-chan... Thank you. I nearly...killed someone I cared about again. With my own hands... Hey, Slime-san... Would you mind listening?

Yuzuriha: You shouldn't talk too much...

Shizu: I want people to remember my story... & know that I lived.

Rimuru: All right.

Me(Narrated): So Shizu told us what happened, though her recollection was vague. She spoke of how Ifrit possessed her after she was summoned, & how she ended up killing her friend... And...

Shizu: After Pirino died, I continued to serve the Demon Lord as his closest aide. But, then I met...

Rimuru: Met who?

Yuzuriha: Us. Two Heroes.

Me: Wait. You &...

Yuzuriha: Yes. Me & the hero herself..

Shizu: There was a battle, & the Demon Lord abandoned his castle, leaving me behind as the rear guard. Was it the will of the fire spirit Ifrit, or was it of my own volition? I'm still not sure.

Rimuru: The Hero, huh?

Shizu: I thought I'd be killed instantly... But then she spoke to me.

Yuzuriha: I asked her why she was there.

Shizu: How she had stayed alive... I was a Majin, & they believed everything I said. She told me, "It's all right now." My emotions came back to me.

Yuzuriha: Then we took her in...

Yuzuriha then put Shizu's mask on her chest.

Yuzuriha: The hero was the one who gave her that mask. It would boost her magic resistance & help suppress Ifrit, the spirit dwelling within her.

Shizu: By traveling with her, I learned about this world, & I learned magic. Through the power of the mask, I even learned to use Ifrit's power, to some extent. By helping others, & fighting...

Rimuru: That's how you came to be known as the Conqueror of Flames. Well, that was an awesome attack, all right! You were on fire!

Shizu: I was so happy traveling with them. But...

Rimuru: But?

Yuzuriha: She disappeared, leaving her with me.

Me: Why?

Shizu: I don't know.

Yuzuriha: Neither did I.

Shizu: Why did she? Why... "I'm certain we'll meet again." That's what she said to me. I decided to become stronger. I wanted to help people who were suffering. I worked really hard. For decades! Doesn't that sound impressive?

Rimuru: Yeah, it sure does.

Shizu: People started to call me a Champion... But I wasn't young anymore. It was becoming more difficult for me to control Ifrit. One wrong step, & I could unleash Ifrit by mistake. When I thought about that, I got scared. I knew I could hurt someone I cared about again... So I retired & became an instructor.

Me: An Instructor?

Shizu: A teacher at a school.

Rimuru: Oh! There are schools here?

Shizu: Yes, in a place called the Kingdom of Ingrassia. It was a school for kids from other worlds.

Rimuru: Kids? So there must be quite a few people who came here from another world, huh?

Shizu: It was one of them who taught me that video game line you quoted.

Rimuru & Shizu: "I'm not a bad slime!"

Those two are giggling as I have not gotten that quote.

Shizu: It was so much fun. Those days were so peaceful. Some of them eventually went off on their own & left me... But one of them went on to become the Grandmaster.

Rimuru: Grandmaster?

Shizu: The one responsible for overseeing all the guilds in every country.

Me: That sounds like a big deal!

Shizu: Yes, it is. So I thought there was nothing left that I could teach anyone. & then, possibly because I'm nearing the end of my life, it become more difficult to suppress Ifrit's will. There was only one thing I could remember, so I decided to go on a journey.

Rimuru: What did you remember?

Shizu: My search for the man who summoned me.

Rimuru: Do you want revenge?

Shizu: I don't know... but... There was something I wanted to find out from him. That's why I... They were such nice people. A little danger-prone, though.

Me: That's true.

Shizu: It was so much fun... But now... Hey, Slime-san, what's your name?

Rimuru: Huh? I told you, I'm Rimuru & he's Kirby.

Shizu: No, I mean your real name.

Rimuru: Oh... It's Satoru. Mikami Satoru.

Me: It's Khiry. Khiry Cleveland.

Shizu: I'm Shizue. Izawa Shizue.

Shizu then let out a breath.

Yuzuriha: Shiuze, you should sleep now.

Shizu: Satoru-san, I'd like to ask a favor. May I?

Rimuru: Of course. Ask me anything.

Shizu: Please...eat me. Just like Khiry-san ate the curse that had been cast on me. That made me so happy. I dislike this world... Still, I can't abhor it. Just like that man... So... That's why... I don't want to be absorbed by this world. This is... my last request.

Shizu then weakly reached out to Rimuru & pat his head.

Shizu: Would you... let me rest inside you?

There was a long silence between the two of them.

Rimuru: Okay.

Yuzuriha then stepped out. I also left as well because of my past life. I went outside as Yuzuriha looked at her mask.

Me: Yuzuriha...

Yuzuriha: Have you ever... been taken from your world? Have you ever had to leave your own world with a nice family? Have you ever known that you will have leave your old life for a new one without any regrets?

Me(Mind): That question. Despite me living the dream... It is a cursed nightmare of regrets.

Me: Yes, I have.

Yuzuriha then turned to me.

Me: I have live my previous life happy, with a single working mom, great gaming friends, & even got engaged recently... Until all of that was taken by one fatal shootout. I will be honest... my two biggest regrets was to make my momma proud & to make my Tsutsuji happy.

Yuzuriha: Khiry...

I then looked at Yuzuriha. I was picked up by her.

Yuzuriha: There is someplace I wanted to show you.

Yuzuriha then spread her wings & fly to a destination where she found something. I then see a shiny, red, drop-shaped fruits encased in a yellow spiral. It cast a blue light and spin as they hang from their vines, a heart, & the warp star.

Yuzuriha: I founded these three during my travels along with-

I then inhaled the three items in one go.

Yuzuriha: ...okay.

Great Sage: Answer. Eating a Miracle Fruit imbues Kirby with this special ability. After an explosion of energy, Kirby's stomach becomes a veritable black hole, allowing him to inhale giant objects! Friend Hearts. A Friend Heart allows Kirby to make friends. if Kirby is close enough, he will throw a heart directly at the enemy without needing to aim. If a heart touches an enemy that can be befriended (indicated by a small heart symbol above the enemy when Kirby is holding a Friend Heart), that enemy will become a friend, of which Kirby can have a maximum of three at any time. If Kirby uses a Friend Heart to create a friend despite already having three friends in tow, one of the three friends can be replaced with the new friend, or the action can be cancelled altogether, resulting in the enemy transforming into an ability item. Kirby can also throw Friend Hearts at Copy Essences, Ability Stars, and ability items to turn them into friends. If a friend throws a Friend Heart at another enemy, they transform into whatever enemy they threw the Friend Heart at. When an enemy is befriended, that enemy will wear their ability hat. Wrap Star. The Warp Star is a glowing, yellow, star-shaped vehicle based off of a shooting star. It serves as Kirby's primary mode of transportation in the series, allowing him to travel quickly between areas. Warp Stars fly their riders quickly through the sky, and can be steered by thought alone, often expelling stardust behind them as they go and making a whirring noise. Kirby is a very accomplished flyer of Warp Stars; however, he isn't very good at landing them and has a tendency to violently crash land, sending him flying and destroying his Warp Star in the process.
