Before you start this: mental illnesses aren't cute, funny or cool. You might be questioning why I wrote this then. I believe in raising awareness of those illnesses and disorders and I tried to be as pedantic and realistic as I can. Of course, all this can vary, not all cases are the same, and my task is to create an unique one, but in borders of reality for an applyfic which is still a work of fiction so don't be too harsh on it. Diamond was diagnosed with OCD at a very young age. Trough years her condition became worse and her compulsions grew. She does love to clean, but she's somehow always under pressure to make everything spotless as fast as she can. That doesn't mean lacking off in any way or just glossing off some things, it means she won't feel okay until she's done. Her closet is organized based on the color. Her books on the shelf are organized by size and almost everything else goes into specially labeled boxes. She checks everything (multiple times) and can become very aggressive (and scary) if stopped. When she first meets someone, she repeats their name 6 times. She does something similar when she hears a 'bad' word, she says something positive to cancel it out. It doesn't really bother her what people think of her in those moments as long as they don't try to stop her.

She loves color blue, apparently, it helps her calm down. She's one of the oldest kids, but fairly easy to talk to as long as you don't try to stop her compulsions or do something to tick them off. She cares about her looks very much, she needs to look great all the time. She doesn't have an extreme phobia of germs as someone would expect.

A-Z suffers from a bipolar disorder. Don't confuse it with a multiple personality disorder, he does not have multiple personalities and hates when people think that. A-Z goes through much more pronounced shifts in his mood. His ups and downs are replaced with periods of mania to deep depression. When he's experiencing mania he feels invincible. Like he can do whatever, he's energetic and powerful. Because he is feeling invincible he will most likely indulge in risky behavior. From gambling, spending money on clothes/games/etc., sex, dangerous stunts even drugs on two occasions. During the depressive episodes he will have much less energy. He'll struggle to sleep and will feel very sad and empty. He might even become aggressive or have something similar to a mental breakdown. When he was younger he used to cut himself during those episodes, but stopped eventually with help. He still has suicidal thoughts but has never acted on them (cutting is a non-suicidal self-injury).

He usually prefers to be left alone. When he's not experiencing those episodes of ups and downs, he's pretty chill. He won't speak unless spoken though and will be brutally honest. He dislikes his condition, but overthinking about it can lead to his depressed episodes. He's been trying to get better with psychiatric medication and psychotherapy. He's not so sure it's working anymore.

Daisy began showing signs of anxiety during her teen years. Her fears somehow turned into phobias without her parents or anyone else noticing. Her social phobia isn't that severe, she does feel self-conscious, but her friends helped her mostly get over it. She is claustrophobic though and can't stand being in small or over-crowded places. She has to avoid buses, trains and similar places which turned out to be a problem. However, the presence of close people can help calm her down. (Those are only a selected few.) She gets panic attacks, usually randomly, but often caused by one of her phobias like heights, spiders, blood, clowns etc. too. During them, she has chest pains and usually has trouble breathing. Daisy is almost always tense and nervous. She also always carries a bottle of water because of her dry mouth and nervous feeling.

Ice has a persistent depressive disorder. He has times of major depression, but also periods when his symptoms aren't as severe. His parents died in a car crash, but it's unknown if that's the cause of his depression as he might have it before that event. He is very pessimistic and says he usually feels worthless, empty and helpless. He had multiple suicide attempts. Ice is usually found oversleeping and rarely leaves his room. He refuses to try and get better, along with taking his medication. He's cut off connection with any former friends and avoids making new ones no matter how persistent they are. Though he now let's those be close, he doesn't interact with them in any way.

He used to loved to play football but has lost interest in it. Due to his feeling of worthlessness, he doesn't make friends, but he is quite observant in reality and knows a lot about people around him. He actually cares about them even, but he hates thinking about how to (and if at all) approach them, it's a too difficult decision to him.

Black Widow was raped at the age of 13 and has developed PTSD since then. She refuses to speak about the accident, but her triggers seem to be nights (especially streets and alleys without street lights), older bearded man and certain types of skinship. She avoids those things very well though and hasn't had any severe symptoms for some time now. If she does encounter those things, she gets traumatic flashbacks and has trouble realizing it wasn't real this time and what really is happening. After those episodes, it will take her a really long time to calm down. Her nightmares will mostly resurface after and stay for weeks even. She has trust issues and avoids any kind of intimacy especially a romantic one.

Black Widow is known as a huge Marvel fan, along with being a complete nerd. She loves to study and know everything she yet doesn't. She's ultra-polite, but also kinda shy. She took self-defense classes but still isn't quite as strong so she tries to work out when she gets a chance. She always carries a flashlight. Doesn't care about fashion, and always has several layers of clothing.

Iron he started drinking during his teen years, having a perfect opportunity without enough adult supervision. He constantly fought with his mother, while his father worked overseas. He has awful withdrawal symptoms like shaking hands, sweating and nausea prompting him to continue drinking. He's also very irritable sober. He's not an aggressive dunk, he usually lightens up at those moments and become cheery. Iron suffers from IED too - he has an inability to resist aggressive urges. If seriously pissed off, he won't be able to resist aggressive impulses, resulting in serious assaults and property destruction. He won't be easily calmed down, it usually takes about half an hour. After, he will show genuine regret and most likely be upset because he didn't really mean to go to that extent.

He has alcohol stashes hidden almost everywhere, for obvious reason and he's very good at hiding them. He's pretty sneaky and has a good sense of orientation even when drunk. He tries not to get too drunk only a bit tipsy and is getting better at controlling it. He's pretty charming and fun when he drinks in small doses during the day. He comes from a richer family, but hates them (kinda has mommy issues.)

Cinnamon has schizophrenia. She has hallucinations because of her condition. They're usually small pictures or flashes that she sees, but they're almost always gone in an instant. At times they did stay longer and it appeared to her like they were chasing her. Other times, she hears voices that aren't there, usually when she's alone. During does times she gets really freaked out and scared. On a couple of occasions, she hurt herself running away from those hallucinations. She's always on full cautious mode because she has a constant feeling someone is watching her. She speaks a bit weird, not using full sentences at times.

She's a bit unemotional and unsentimental. She's not good at listening to others, but she does care and others recognize it. She is good at cheering others up and lifting the mood with her wild imagination. She is quite athletic and loves running early in the morning. Loves music and has a huge number of songs on her phone.

Gucci suffers from kleptomania. He steals the things he doesn't need and is usually able to afford. It's like his stress reliever, he instantly feels better after he stole it even f he doesn't need that thing and will probably leave it behind. He never plans his theft and usually just steals something he sees and gets a feeling to steal it. He sometimes regrets stealing certain items but only those that belong to someone close to him. When he steals something from a shop or a store he actually feels a bit excited because he wasn't caught. Gucci is also a compulsive liar, he lies out of habit without any reason to do so. He feels more comfortable lying.

He is an enigma to everybody because he rarely speaks the truth and you would never know it even if he did. He loves playing pranks ad his own sense of humor. He's super friendly but never honest. He says he loves to keep them on their toes. 'To keep things interesting.' He is mostly never wearing his own clothes, but always has his glasses and watch on himself.

Luna has a sleep disorder that in her case causes her to have difficulty falling asleep. She usually needs medication if she wants to sleep but she doesn't feel good after using them. She has to stick to her sleeping schedule: she can't take naps, she has to isolate herself an hour before going to bed, preparing her room and bed etc. She also has AFRID. It's an eating disorder, but unlike anorexia and bulimia, it isn't caused by worries about looks. Her parents thought she was just a picky eater, but it's more than just that. She refuses to eat anything orange (and some shades of yellow), any liquid-like food (like soup) and anything hot. She also dislikes anything that has alcohol in it and caffeine.

Luna loves looking at the night sky as it helps her sleep. She's good at astronomy but doesn't believe in astrology. On days she manages to get some sleep she is almost hyper. She's the youngest and smallest so everybody protects her. She tries to help everyone around her as much as she can too. She loves warm milk and hot chocolate, again because they help her sleep.
