courtney stood at the rope separating the celebrities from the interviewers. daily mail had their own roped off section in the midst of the interviewers. dan, their main camera man, looked at the little screen on his camera then back at courtney, rachel, and elizabeth. "you girls ready?" he asked. the three nodded yes while doing last minute touch ups to their hair. dan counted down from five with his fingers then pointed at the three, indicating that they were live.

"hey everyone!" courtney exclaimed. "i'm courtney auclair."

"i'm rachel abbot," rachel said next.

"i'm elizabeth laine. and we are xscape!" elizabeth said into her mic.

"we are currently at the golden globes, ready to interview some of your favorite celebrities," rachel said. the three of them split off onto their separate sides with their respected cameras.

the first person who walked up to them was robert downey jr, he went to elizabeth. then margot robbie went to rachel. and finally, drew starkey's publicist ushered him over to courtney. "hello," he greeted.

"hi," courtney said, sticking her hand out for a handshake. "my name is courtney auclair from xscape here with daily mail."

"trust me, i know who you are," drew starkey said into the mic. "huge fan of your music."

"oh wow, i'm honored," courtney told him. "as if the viewers at home don't already know,  who am i here with?"

"drew starkey," he answered with a small smirk.

"you look amazing tonight. who are you wearing?" courtney asked him.

"this is an armani, custom made suit," drew told her not breaking eye contact for one second. "love  your look tonight as well." the comment caught courtney so off guard that she couldn't help but glance back at roni, her camera woman, with raised eyebrows.

"well," she said turning back to the interview. "this is not custom made or armani. its from the mall two blocks away from my house."

"i think-" drew started to say before his publicist said something to him. "i will get in trouble if we don't continue this interview."

"so," courtney resumed the interview. "the viewers wanna know how someone prepares for the premiere  of the new season of their hit tv show."

"mostly i've just been hanging out with my friends, the cast. we are beyond excited to share this next season with everyone," drew answered.

"that sounds like fun," courtney responded. "i'd love to have the honor to meet and interview them one day."

drew fake winced and grabbed his chest, feining being heartbroken. "is interviewing me not good enough for you?" drew asked with a slight smile.

courtney looked up into his eyes with a small smile and said, "oh no, trust me. you are more than good enough."

drew's publicist came up to him and once again whispered something his ear. "this interview was amazing but unfortunately its time for me to move on."

"so soon?" courtney asked. "how unfortunate."

"it was nice meeting you," drew said, reaching a hand out for a handshake. "i'll see what i can do about introducing you to my friends."
