{ Y / N }'s PointOfView

Goggles and I are good friends since childhood. As he met Specs, Bobbles and Headphones for the first time, the four of them later found me and then all five of us became very good friends. Even though that the friendship was only really strong between me and Goggles, I was happy to have at least one friend. The others had never really cared about me, but I accepted that though. At least I had Goggles and I was already happy with him. We did a lot together, but eventually I changed my mind and slowly changed. Over time, I didn't feel like hanging out with him anymore, so my strong friendship broke up more and more. I didn't know why, but at some point I wanted to be friends with someone new. Someone who is different. Someone who works differently than Goggles. No hatred for him, but so slowly he got on my nerves and I often rolled my eyes as he came running up to me and hugged me. I don't want to say that I hate him, that's right, no, no. It's rather hate-love, because I'm still happy to have him as a friend, because he's the only one I think. I never really did anything with his teammates and it still didn't change after a few tries. I gave up and tried to make new friends, that I would have more then one, because I needed more. I felt it and it would make me even happier.

Today, Goggles and I wanted to go to the place where we met as childrens for the first time and that was a perfect way to ask Goggles if he still knew any other nice inklings, that I could probably make friends with. A boy would be preferable, but a girl is okay too. Why do I want a boy more? Well, I'm interested in entering into a relationship with an inkling. Of course, I already have a lot of options, but with Goggles and the others, this would never happen. I think that a friendship is enough and I will continue to search to find the love that I have always wished for. Unfortunately, I regreted by thinking that this can go so fast and will wait a long time with my relationship, certainly.

Well, by now it was time to get started and Goggles was already waiting outside my door. I changed my clothes quickly so that I looked clean and saw the bright blue inkling with a top motivation in front of my house. As he noticed I was standing next to him staring at the sky, he lowered his head to mine and gave me the classic hug I always get when we meet for the first time of the day.  It was early, but that didn't itch us, because we still had a lot to do. So this time was a good time and I was really surprised that this time, Goggles was over-punctual. I beamed at him and as he broke the tight embrace, we headed together towards our childhood place. "Hey Goggles ... you probably have other friends than just me and your teammates, right?" I asked and got a nod directly. "Yeah, I still have one and I think I've never introduced him to you. Rider is his name" he said, and then we stopped walking, having already arrived at the finish line. The past was closer than expected, and even from here I could see my own house. I looked down and remembered the name very deeply.

//Rider, huh? Now I'm curious ..// I thought softly and then we stared at our good old place. Everything was still there and so many memories came up. As I looked over to Goggles, I knew that he was thinking strongly of the past as well.

"Heh, do you remember as Bobbles licked a bucket of ink over our first sandcastle? We were shocked but she apologized, then we did one again and it was so funny because we used you as a template" I laughed softly, and Goggles remembered it too, while leting out a light giggle. That's exactly where we got to know Bobbles. After that, we exchanged memories together, laughed and found it beautiful. We walked around the place and looked at all the attractions until someone finally stopped us from behind. An unknown inkling tore us apart and placed his head between Goggles and me. Goggles turned around in astonishment, but as he realized who the stranger was, he beamed hugely and hopped towards him.

"Riiiiiidddeeeerrr" Goggles screamed overjoyed and I couldn't believe it. He has just addressed him and BAM, he was already here, between of us. Rider grabbed him and carried Goggles for a short while. It looked like it wasn't a problem for him, but already with his sweaty beads, I knew that Goggles wasn't so easy to wear. Rider set him down and didn't notice me until he had enough strength again. "Oh, Goggles, who is that nice girl behind you?" Rider asked, wounded, staring at his friend.

"That's {Y/N}. I know them as well as Bobbles and my other two members, but so far I've never introduced her to you" Goggles laughed, scratching his back because it was a bit embarrassing. I stared at Rider and looked at him up and down. A boy, eh? 

This is good, especially because he looked so ... hot and trustworthy in his tight leather jacket. I greeted him shyly with his hand while Goggles was between us and looked at the two connected hands. "Rider .. it's a pleasure. We've just talked about you" I smiled softly and found him all the hotter as he also produced a smile. "Tch. What a sheer coincidence" Rider said quietly but was also pleased to have met another friend of Goggles. Rider then looked back to Goggles and he to him. "What are you doing here Rider?" the blue inklingasked happily, while Rider also watched what our past looked like but he had no idea what we were doing here at all. "Well, I actually wanted to do some practice, but then I saw you. I just couldn't help but walk up to you. How's about you two?" he asked back and looked around. Confused and puzzled, he couldn't understand what I couldn't in his place, because we were really somewhere in nowhere.

"Oh, {Y/N} and I wanted to look again at our old place, where we met for the first time, it was a long time ago and I also met Bobbles, Specs and Headphones for the first time. So sorry that I've never told you that before" Goggles said sadly, but Rider didn't care that much at all. Goggles smiled and brought me and Rider closer together. "Come on, I think we're going to practice together now. At least we finally saw it completely, right {Y/N}?" he asked me and I nodded nervously but slowly. Actually, I wanted to stay here for a while more, but then again I would be training with Rider AND Goggles. We did, so why not? 

Together we walked towards the inkopolis tower. Rider had a gold Dynamo-Roller on his shoulder, which suited to him well, because I had nothing to do but stare at him and honestly Goggles and Riders already knew each other well, but so far they have never shown their friendship right in front of me.  Why tho ... 

Goggles doesn't seem to trust me quite so well and that's how bad it is. Again, as we were at inkopolis square, we strolled on to the trainingroom and presented our weapons more closely.

Goggles had his Splattershot with him, while I nervously was took my weapon from my back in my hand, which was also a Dynamo-Roller today. As we were running back I had to decide quickly on a weapon to practice and since I went to our childhood place, I came empty-handed, unlike Goggles. The two waited impatiently, but I thought directly of Rider and took the Kensa Dynamo-Roller to me to impress him.

I had quite a success at the first second, because Rider has been watching this thing the whole time. "Hey guys, I think I'll get the other three guys, that we can do a turf war in retrospect, so bye" Goggles said and left. How well I knew Goggles, he had certainly made that extra, that we would get to know each other better. Alone and although undisturbed. Oh well ... now I sweated my Dynamo-Roller full and can barely talk, I guess. Rider and I watched Goggles and when he wasn't seen anymore, Rider looked right back at my Kensa Dynamo-Roller.

"I see you're also interested in the Dynamo-Rollers, but I've never seen such a black one. I guess the power and the shape is the same, but I think it's lighter than my gold one and of course the look is different" he said, feeling my interests in it. Then I placed it on the ground. He came closer to me and I was all the more nervous. He noticed it and gave me a serious look as he shook his head. "Can you explain to me why you look so weird? I watched you from a long way ago from afar and there you were chilled... am I doing anything wrong?" he asked, straightening his leather jacket, which made me all the more speechless. "Ehh, oh, that's how I am aroundnew people, you know" I explained and got a cold shiver down my spine.

"Hm, never mind. Let's practice while Goggles is gone" Rider suggested, swinging his roller onto the dummies. He became an extreme machine and destroyed one dummie after another. I admired him directly and didn't even participate. I had no idea what he wanted to practice for, so apparently he just wanted to get better, with his main weapon. I sat down and watched him. Meanwhile, I thought what his reaction would be if I'd say I ike him. Yes, I could say that this was love at first sight.

I was blown away and then headed trembling towards Rider from behind. Sadly, I didn't pay really attention on my way, stumbled and rammed Rider to the ground with me. I squeezed my eyes shut and screamed. A few seconds later, Rider shook me and became aggressive.

"{Y/N}! Get ... away ... from ... me! NOW!" he grumbled, waving around himself. I somehow knocked his Dynamo-Roller out of his hand, because it was suddenly in the corner of the trainingroom. I shook my head in confusion and realized only in time, what had just happened. I was on top of Rider and clenched his hands as we both blushed slowly. Despite further attempts to free him, he didn't succeed, even though I felt that he was quite strong. "Get away from me!" he repeated, looking blushing plus embarrassed at the same time. I took the chance and didn't mind. In fact, I just ignored him and decided, to drop the words, to make me feel better, that I have feelings for him... 

"Hey Rider, maybe that sounds silly, but I like you somehow" I said, clinking and nudging two of my fin tips together. Externally, my blush became weaker, but inside I was still ultra hot. My heart pounded faster and while I looked at Rider's confused face, I knew it was a wrong decision.

"Well, I like you too, so why this shyness..." he smiled, which surprised me extremely and opened my eyes in an instant. However, I stopped directly, because I realized that he meant the classic 'like'. Well, dear Rider, I wanted more, and he apparently didn't check that. I leaned down with my face and looked at him diagonally. "I like you more, then you think" I whispered, moving closer to his face. Rider kept fidgeting, but as I moved with my arms around his neck and placed my hands behind his head, he fell silent as if I had paralyzed him. "What you mean? Can't you just..... "he wanted to say, plus a few more words, but I immediately left him speechless as my lips were already linked with his. Connected, we were on the ground and enjoyed the moment which went longer, because Rider felt somehow the same as me, am I right? I dunno ..

A few minutes later, Goggles came up with his friends from the side and stared at us both shocked. "Ahh, NO. Goggles! It doesn't look like you think" Rider said furiously, making him completely speechless as we both strained embarrassed. Goggles, on the other hand, jumped around and could hardly believe his luck. "Awwwww, Rider has found his love" he cheered and even the other blue inklings found that really sweet. Rider gave up immediately and looked with a slightly blush away from Goggles.

"Hm, are you hiding something? Well, I found it very romantic, and I won't forget that kiss so quickly for a long time" I said as I stared at the floor, embarrassed. After a brief silent second, I fulfilled Rider's request and stood up. He did the same, brushing himself everywhere with his hand, and wanted himself to look great again with his leather jacket, which was actually all the time. Goggles and his teammembers walked to us. They all thought they were coming at the right time and yes, I had to agree with that completely. Goggles slightly punched Rider in his arm. "You lucky squid, you've found your wife before me" he grinned but Rider shouted quietly at him directly. "HUH? She's DEFINITELY NOT ... my ... wife" he shuddered, and at the last words he realized for himself that Goggles spoke true words. The rest of us chuckled as I gave him another kiss on the cheek which made his head red again. Hand in hand, we continued with the practice but only by watching the blue inklings, because Rider and I had a lot to discuss, how our relationship will develop!
