          Adrien's  POV:

When the photo shoot begins, Adrien has Ladybug on his mind. He thought too bad she is not here, as her presence would bring a nice distraction from the dullness.

He has no idea how wrong he is about this fact.

Adrien's photographer takes his picture as Ladybug takes a seat by a tree.

"Victor, is there a smudge mark on my face?" Adrien asks.

       Victor's  POV:

Victor takes a closer look and shrugs his shoulders in response.

"No, young Agreste it is just fine," He assures him.

"The name is Adrien," Adrien reminds him.

"Ah, yes, Adrien, your face is a bit shiny, but that seems to be fine,"  He adds.

            Ladybug's  POV:

Ladybug chuckles from her place under the tree. She finds the entire conversation between Adrien and the photographer to be rather amusing.  It is not everyday she has the privilege to overhear such things while in her disguise.

"Well, boys, you need not worry,"  Ladybug speaks up.

"I am sure the boy's father, Gabriel would have let you known, if anything were out of place," She goes onto say.

"L-Ladybug, what brings you here?" Adrien inquires. He thinks as pleasant a surprise it is to see her, he does not know what to make of it all.

"Ah, tis a pity, the boy does not think with his head as much as he uses his face for fame," She teases him.

           Adrien's POV:

         "What?" He replies.

"Are you saying, I am dumb?"

Adrien hears her laughter again and rolls his eyes in annoyance at once. He can not believe the girl thinks he lacks smartness.  Goodness, talk about a complete and utter embarrassment.

He should just die from the shame of it all now, should he not?

He thought, why should she answer me?  It appears she does not wish to.

          Ladybug's  POV:

"Adrien, I believe that is up to you," She mocks him.

She sees him sulk.  She did not know, he could be so sensitive.

"I do say the puffy lip does not suit you well at all. Then, again perhaps it does," She sneers.

          She chuckles once more.

"Adrien, your father meant for me to accompany you to the photoshoot today," She explains.

        Adrien's  POV:

"Ah, yes, my father," His reaction was calm.

He did not know his father would try to play some matchmaker for him.

Boy, talk his father being desperate to get to settle down with someone.

The thought crosses his mind a time or two.  Just no one seems to interest him, until now.  The trouble was he did not think she could care the least bit about him.

          Victor's POV:

"Adrien, the angle is all wrong, lad," Victor corrects him.

He sees Adrien turn his head more to the left. He gives him a thumbs up for approval, then snaps the photo.

He hands Adrien a small bouquet and takes a few pictures of Adrien holding them on his lap, to the side, in the air, and on the ground next to him.

Last, he suggests Adrien get someone to stand with him.

       Ladybug's POV:

Ladybug sees the bind Adrien appears to be in and smiles.

She speaks to Victor, nods her head, then stands next to Adrien. She smiles as Victor instructs him to place a hand on her waist.

She holds the flowers in her left hand now. The other hand holds onto Adrien's.

She does not give a thought to what people will think about the photo later.

She thinks I have not had so much fun since my mother's disappearance. She still wonders what could have happened to her. She supposes she will never know as her father did not talk about her much and had gotten remarried since then.

She sighs as she leaves.  Glad to have some privacy at least.

Good thing she wore the mask and spotted suit.  At least this way, no one knows the real her is a shy, girl who does not know much about the whole modeling business. No one knows she took the job at her best friend's encouragement or that Alya had to give her crash course in make-up the night before the job begins. She did not the least thing about it before then.

        Narrator's  POV:

The photoshoot ends.  The author felt bad for making Adrien so uncomfortable. Then, again maybe she meant to have this happen.  Who is to say?

    Adrien's  POV:
Anyway, Ladybug went home, and Adrien was left alone feeling rather unsure what to make of the last minute changes.  What was all that about anyway? He thought.

Adrien saw his father and waved him over.  "Father, is it true? Did you invite her to join me at the photo shoot?"

"Yes, and what of it?" Gabriel replies.

"Oh, I see, but you had no right," Adrien interjects.

"No, right, son, do not you see how perfect she is for you," Gabriel remarks.

"Father, that sounds bad even for you to say.  I do like her, but she can not see me the same way," Adrien yells at him.

"If you let the public get ahold of the pictures with Ladybug and me together a huge lie will spread that were are dating when both of us know that is not true," Adrien adds.

"So what do you intend to do about it?"

Adrien did not wait for an answer before he went home. He marches straight to his room without another word.  He can not believe this. His father would stoop so low as to hire a pretty girl to be his make-up artist, then pull a stunt like this.
