"Hi, I am new in town, and I would like to order a cup of hot apple cider," Adrien says. He flashes a smile toward Marinette as he speaks.

Juleka smirks and thinks, this guy likes my boss and wonders who he is and what brings him here to this small little coffee shop.

"What, are you kidding me?  You come in here and dare to order apple cider!" Marinette blurts out.

"It is on the menu, so what is the big deal?"  Juleka asks.

"Look, I do not want any trouble, I just came here to work on my play. I am not wanted," Adrien says.

"Well, too bad Miss Marinette because like it or not I am here to stay," Adrien says. He thinks, she is lovely even when she is angry.

"What kind of coffee do you recommend then?" Adrien asks sweetly. He knows he hates coffee, but might as well humor her.

"You are impossible, you know that Mr!   Here is your Snickerdoodle coffee, it will be $4.50," Marinette scoffs.

"Fine here you go!  Do not ever talk to me again, I intend to work on my play and that is it!" Adrien retorts. He hands her the money.

Adrien finds a seat, sits down, and takes a sip of the coffee. To his surprise, it tastes good. He smiles a little as he works on the script for his play.

The bell to the place rings again, to signal someone else's arrival.  This time it is the bank manager, who retorts  "Miss Marinette you are behind on your payments again!"

"If you do not get the money paid by the end of the year including any overdue fees, the bank will repose the place,"  The bank manager scoffs.

"Your coffee is coming up sir," Marinette says. She tries not to show how upset she is right now.  She hands him a cup of mocha coffee with extra chocolate.

"Thanks, Miss Marinette, just what I wanted,"  He says, pays the $5.50 and leaves.

After the bank manager leaves, I can not lose this place, I put too much into it to lose it now," Marinette says

"My father bought this place for me before he died, How could the bank manager be so cruel?"  Marinette asks angrily.

Adrien notices the pretty, stubborn woman by the counter is upset. He feels sorry for her, but would not dare to say so as he continues to write the script for his play.
