Alexander looked at the door in front of him. The door he was most scared of. Sure, he was told by Hugo to stay away and DO NOT TOUCH! Still what the Hell did Hugo know anyways? Of course Hugo would try to keep him out. Apparently he wanted Alexander to be on his side for this, but they were all dead anyways. Who needs sides when you have roommates? Fighting one another was stupid, and so many people were angry with everybody. He was still trying to work with Hedwig, and Judas was cooling down, or at least he assumed so. He had a wicker basket with a blue and white gingham cotton lining, and a red bow on the handle. Inside were a batch of the most moist muffins he ever baked. Still this was certainly no simple gold watcher's room. He stood in front of. It was one of the gold watchers that hated him from the first day.

"Don't bother staying outside the door. I can hear you fiddling, and if it's Hugo get lost!"

Well there was no turning back now. He opened the door walking in. "Come to see the unlovable deformed freak?" On one side of the wall a tall pole and base hung an old tattered thirteen star U.S. flag. On top a shiny gold eagle topped the pole. Another side a huge portrait with Louis, his wife, and little ones hung proud. There was a gun at the foot of his bed. The Captain was angrily staring down at his music. His beautiful youthful face. He looked young for his age. "Well, come in." When he slowly turned his head, his big nasty gash could be seen. "Oh, well isn't this salt in an open wound? The little rifle boy that followed my most hated arch enemy." Alexander walked in, "Hello, Captain. I... brought you something. Haytham taught me how to make them." He held the soft muffins out to him placing the basket on the table. Captain Lawless simply looked at the peace offerings. "Is this your way of apologizing for killing U.S. citizens?" He smirked looking at one. Uncaring, he let it slip right out of his grip, landing in a waste bin on top of rejected pages of music. "When did you start caring about Americans? Was it when you were tossed on a prison ship along with them?"

Alexander felt a sting in that. He sat down next to him. "The war did you wrong. It took so much from you. I understand. It took a lot from me too." The bitter Captain looked up at the English man. "The war took nothing from you compared to me! Go on back to the English corridor string bean." He said trying to focus back on his music. Alexander led his chin back in his direction. "Please, listen. I was the exact same way. I was so angry I physically took it out on mortals. Hacking at them till the closest watcher pulled me off. It took a long time to let go of that anger. He stepped back when the Captain shot up. "Tea sipper, you're fooling yourself with this little mayor of Stepford bullshit. Coming up to me like we can forget it." At this point many gold watchers were peeking around the doorframe.

Alexander grabbed his shoulders. "I know I can't forget. Neither of us can. But I really want to be friends with you." His lip trembled and his eye sockets were wide. "I really do." The Captain chuckled removing his hands from his shoulders. "You must really be desperate for good men in your life. Too many evil men cross your path? Who touched you, boy?" Alexander got hard and rigid fast. "Was it your strong loving step father?" His eyes glanced over toward the gold watchers. "A babysitter maybe?" Now angry, Hedwig was about to march in, but Pierre held him back. Alexander wanted to beat the man up, but with Hugo he was learning to control his temper. "You are projecting. This is fine, because I know you don't mean it, but I want you to know, this anger is going to eat you up, and spit you out." He said crossing his arms.

As he turned the Captain raised an eyebrow. "As hard as your holding back your anger, and dispelling it onto the mortals, you must've done something fucking evil to bury it down so deep." He leaned in further. "Why are you here?" Captain smirked. "Did you hurt somebody? Touch somebody? Kill an innocent victim?"

It all happened so fast. The harsh thud of a fist punching a face. Alexander glared down at the American on the ground. His eyes squinted burning red and bright. The darkness of the room made Alexander look like a shadow. All the Captain saw were two glowing red orbs. He touched his lip. A small well up of black blood showed up. "There's the British bastard attitude I know. Just had to draw it out." Alexander turned back toward the exit. He looked over his shoulder. "You're wrong, you know, as you so often are." His voice shook. "You are loved in this house. You're just too stupid, and self absorbed to notice." When the Captain got up, Alexander showed his love to his fellow man, placing a delicate kiss on his forehead. The Captain flinched, and became awkward when it was done

The boys separated as Alexander the room, watching the shorter one leave.
