"Erwin.." you knocked on the solid brown door and peered through the doorway. "How long do you plan on working tonight?" You made your way into his office.

"Oh, _______.." he finished writing something and placed his hand down on the desk. "Sorry, my work isn't quite done just yet.." he looked at you and stretched his lips. "I'll probably go a little overtime again today."

You sighed as you knelt down to rest your forearms on his desk, "I'd love to help you in anyway I can, if that's possible."

Erwin chuckled as he reached over to your face and pushed away some hairs. "I know you'd love to help, but don't worry, I'm almost done alright?"

"If you say so.." You stood up and stretched. "I'll wait for you outside then, stay focused." You turned back and pointed a finger to him.

He nodded and soon after dove right back into his paper work. It was a hassle when it came to being with Erwin. He seemed so sucked into his work but then again, he was the commander of the Scouting Legion.

You submerged yourself in the comfort of a pillow and blanket as you waited for Erwin to finish so the two of you could finally get some rest. You could have left by yourself but you always waited for Erwin. You felt like an assistant to him though usually during late nights, you were helpless. And you thought that Erwin would rather be alone anyway too.

You stared at the ceiling that was illuminated by a lone candle, waiting for Erwin to finally call you over so the two of you could head back to your chambers but all you heard was silence. Your eyes gave up on you and you were asleep before you knew it.

You were woken up to the change in position of your sleeping. You opened your eyes and saw Erwin, he was carrying you. "You're finally up, my love.." he smiled at you.

"Erwin.." you smiled back. "Did you get everything done?"

"Of course I did. Let's not worry about that and just worry about getting you to bed."

"Sure.." you giggled and put your arms around his neck, pulling him close.

The two of you reached your room and Erwin set you down on the bed. "Alright, get some sleep now, _______."

"Ahh," you stretched out as you sat up, "I want to take these things off first.." you placed your hand on the harness around your waist and began undoing the buckles.

"Need help?" Erwin asked.

"Please!" you got up and walked to him.

He helped take everything off for you and you stretched again. "I feel so free without the straps!" you threw your arms up. "Now it's your turn, right?"

"Yeah, I need your help too!" He began to release his from his own body. You helped him out of his straps and put it away. "Now we're both free!" He picked you up and spun you.

You held him tightly as he brought you down on the bed along with himself. The two of you rolled into bed laughing. "Alright alright, no more fun. We have to get some sleep." He said, bringing his forehead to yours.

"No more fun?" you repeated.

"That's right.." he kissed your forehead as he brought the sheets up over your body.

"Good night then, Erwin." You went up into his chest as he embraced you.

"Good night, _______."
