Once upon a time in the kingdom of  Miraculous Days there lived a handsome Prince named Adrien Agreste. He was only eighteen years old. He did not court anyone because none of the women in the kingdom please him.  He left much to the dismay of his parents the King (Gabriel Agreste) and Queen (Emilie Agreste) to go on a  journey to search for the proper woman.

  Far away from the kingdom, the prince grew up in there was another kingdom quite different than that of his own.  For in this kingdom there lived a princess whose skin was as lovely as her heart, whose hair was dark blue color, whose bluebell eyes were nice to gaze upon, whose cheeks were red as rubies, and who was as kind as she was beautiful.  She was only seventeen years old and was about to turn eighteen in a week from now.

    Marinette Snow White was the girl's name and her mother had died when she was only four years old. Her father the King (Tom) had mourned her mother's loss for a short while before he got remarried to a cruel woman (Lila) who was said to be more horrid than she was a queen.

     Now her stepmother was too stubborn and proud to change her last name.  She was also jealous of the princess, Marinette Snow White.  She did not let her socialize much so the girl had only one friend a servant girl named Juleka.  She was sad that her new parent should be so cruel to her.  She tried ever so hard to please her.

     Marinette gave her wicked stepmother a nice present for her birthday, but the woman had thrown it away like it was trash.  She could tell the lady was rather vain because she kept a mirror she spoke to regularly in her room and the thing spoke back to her, now how odd was this anyway?
