G's POV

You sighed, staring at the empty bottle in your hand.

"Why does the toaster have to come?" Sans whined beside you as Cyndle rolled her eyes. "He's our friend, Sans, and he's not a toaster, he's a robot."

"Ok fine...." Sans said, "He's a toaster with glitter."

Cyndle glared at Sans and patted you on the shoulder, "You alright, dude?" You nodded and got up, stretching. Sans sighed and whispered to Cyndle about how you were "still moping". You ignored him and walked down the hallway, remembering the moment Opal first stepped out of the kitchen, her features lighting up in the moonlight. You stepped past her bedroom door, not wanting the memories to take over your head.

You had to stop thinking about her, she was never coming back. You shook your head and lit another cigarette, stepping into your bedroom. Broken pieces of the vase Opal broke stacked in the corner. Her shoes by your door. She was everywhere. When she left, she took nothing with her.

You picked up the broken pieces of the Snowglobe.

You twirled the glass around in your hand before dropping it, hearing it clank against the floor.

Just then, the doorbell rang and you could hear chattering voices. Cyndle thought that the perfect thing to get your mind off Opal was a party, so she gathered everyone you knew and was going to shove them in a room together with alcohol, hoping it helps.

You rolled your eyes at her logic, knowing you couldn't just stay in your bedroom. Putting out your cigarette, you marched your way over to civilization.

"G, darling!" Toriel cried, hugging you tightly. You rolled your eyes and hugged her back, "Hey, Tor." She smiled and clasped her hands together, "How are you doing?" You almost laughed out loud. "Good." You answered, "Hey, Cyndle and Sans got engaged, go talk to them." Toriel gasped and ran off. "Did they really?" Frisk chattered beside you, "Of course not." You answered, and Frisk laughed a little.

You heard the enemy before you felt them, "So, G, heard your little lady ran off." You could hear the evil sneer in his voice and grinded your teeth. Turning, you were met with the grinning face of the little devil, Underfell Sans. "The hell are you doing here?" You questioned, your voice rough. He snickered, "Why, Sansy's little lady invited me, and I didn't want to be rude." He swept his hand over the scene, "So here I am."

You looked down at the little brat, and glared. "Frisk, distract him" You said, walking away as Frisk immediately started talking quickly, trying to catch Underfell San's attention.

A hand clasped down on your shoulder and you flinched, knowing who it was. "Darling, how ARE you?" The metallic voice asked, and you heard Sans groan as he walked up beside you, "Oh, look, the toaster's here." Mettaton glared, "At least you can't see my bones."

Sans glared, "What do you want, Mettaton?" He whined. Mettaton smiled sweetly and said, "I was simply asking G here a question." You sighed, "I'm doing fine, toaster."

Mettaton crossed his arms and stalked off, his heels clicking angrily.

"You never call him toaster." Sans said, and you leaned your arm on the kitchen counter while he jumped up on top of it. "It was the only to make him go away." You said, fiddling with the lock bracelet on your wrist.

Sans and you sat in a comfortable silence as everyone chattered around you, and you whipped out your lighter and ignited it, staring at the flame, it reminded you of Opal somehow.....

The doorbell suddenly rang, and you could barely hear it over the talking. You looked around, and no one moved to get it, so you got up, walking slowly towards the door, hands in your pockets and an unlit cigarette hanging loosely from your teeth.

You grabbed the handle, pulling the door open, the cold air blasting in. You shook your head and finally saw who was standing at the door.

Opal.

With her hands ignited in flames.
