Dreams or Faith Pt.1

T.A.2497

Rivendell

The crack of lightning and the roar of thunder, woke me from my sleep. I practically jumped out of my bed. I went over to my window to close it before the rain came.

I saw the full moon, before the clouds covered it. I knew the white part of my hair will reflect the moons rays. As if having brown and white hair was not bad enough.

When all the elves found out about my moon hair, as some call it. They did not take it very well.

I was different to a lot in some of the elves eyes. I just pushed it away, my family loved me. So why should I care about, what others think of me?

~~~
Someone's POV
~I saw a hooded figure, in elven clothes. I could not see much, I only saw eyes, a mouth, and a few strands of white hair. The elf had big brown eyes, and when the elf laughed it was a girl. Her laugh was heavenly.~
~~~

Livia's POV

~I saw a hooded figure, by the stature it was an elf. I could only see the elfs' light blue eyes, and a few strands of light blonde hair. When the elf spoke it was a boy. His voice was comforting and heart warming.

"Follow me."~

I then came back to concussions. I heard my fathers' voice.

"Lìvia. Lìvia."

My head shot up.

"Yes. 'Ada.'"

"Are you alright?"

"Of course. Why wouldn't I be?"

"Never mind. Are you ready?"

"Yes, 'Ada.'"

"Luthien."

"An elven maiden of Doriath. Daughter Elu Thingol, King of Doriath, and his wife Queen, Maia.

She fell in love with a mortal man, Beren, House of Bëor.

The Elven King was not pleased to hear that his daughter was falling in love with a mortal.

Luthien was also half-elven and could choose to remain an elf or become a mortal.

She chose to become mortal and she married Beren. They had a son, Elúchil, the heir of Thingol." I said finishing.

Ada nodded. "Lady Galadriel."

"Grandma. Lady of the Light, Lady of Lothlóríen, married to Lord Celeborn of Doriath. They have one daughter.

Has the gift of foresight, also can read your mind. She was entrusted with one of the Three Rings forged by Celebrimbor. Her ring is, Nenya the Ring of Air."

"King Thranduil."

"King of the Woodland Realm also known as Greenwood. Became King after his father, King Oropher, was slain in the Battle of Dagorlad. His wife, Queen, Regeína. They also have one son."

"That it?"

"All I know."

"Alright last one. Lord Elrond."

"Ada. Lord of Rivendell, married to Lady Celebrían, the daughter of the Lord and Lady of Lothlóríen. They have four children, two 'ellons' and two 'elleths.'

Fought in the War against Saron, which ended the Second Age. As the gift of foresight as well and has a gift in healing.

He too was trusted with one of the Three Rings. His ring is, Vilya the Ring of Water. Which was given to him by Gil-Galad." I said and took a deep breath.

Ada smiled at me.

"You know to much." He said which caused me to laugh.

Just then the doors flew opened and Glorfindel appeared rain drops dripping from his hair and clothes.

"My Lord!"

My father faced him.

"You are needed in the Hall of Fire."

He nodded and started to leave.

"Can I come, 'Ada?'" I asked getting out of my seat.

"No, Lìvia. You stay here."

"But, why?" I asked in protest.

"Lìvia. I said stay here. I mean it." He said firmly.

"Yes, 'Ada.'"

They both left closing the door behind them, and I was left...alone.

Lightning cracked and the glass doors, to the balcony flew open, causing some lose papers to fly around. I ran over to the doors and closed them, locking it.

I walked back and sat in my chair, that was right by the glass doors. I had my ink jar, quill and the paper I picked up from the floor. I wanted draw something, but I didn't know what. I then started to daydream.

~I saw Elladan and Elrohir standing in a forest as rain poured down. They looked worried, scared. Like they have lost someone. I then saw Elrohir cut an orcs' head clean off.~

That's how it ended.

I dipped my quill in the ink jar and started to draw the scene I just saw.

I continued to see different scenes, Naneth in Adas' arms, Arwen holding a baby, and much more. I then came to the last sheet of paper I had.

(What to draw?)

That's when it happened, the glass doors started to hake violently. The thunder roared, the wind howling. The doors shattered, shards of broken glass flying in all directions.

I screamed, falling out of my seat.

~~~
Elrond, Celebrían, Elladan, Elrohir, and Arwen heard it in the Hall of Fire.
They all heard it. The scream of a young elf, and glass shattering. Elrond along with his wife and children ran for the library.
~~~

~I stood in a field. The landscape was dark and dead. Thousands, millions of orcs fighting men and elves, The Last Alliance. This is the War against Saron.

The ground started to shake. A man or at least I believe it was a man, walked out onto the battle field. He carried a giant mace, he also carried a ring around his finger, with writing on it.

(The One Ring.)

He started bashing away Men and Elves, making his way to the King of Gonder.

(Sauron.)

Sauron succeeded, and bashed the Kings' head and he flew into a stone wall, dead. Isildur, son of the King took his fathers' sword. Cutting the ring off Saurons' finger.

Sauron vanquished, Isildur picked up the ring. I then saw Ada, they both, then appeared in an volcano, Mount. Doom. Ada kept telling him to throw it in the fire, but he never did.

The scene changed and I was in Rivendell.

There was a gathering, of Men, Elves, Dwarfs, I saw Gandalf there and even a Hobbit. Pulse the four hiding. Ada was speaking, I saw myself or at least I think so, sitting beside him.

(I look good.)

We sat in a circle and in the middle was a stone table with the One Ring on it. A man stood up speaking as well, getting closer to the Ring with every word he spoke.

Gandalf then stood up and spoke in black speech, and I understanding every word.

{Ash nazg durbatuluk. Ash nazg gimbatul. Ash nazg thrakatuluk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul.}

{One ring to rule them all. One ring to find them. One ring to bring them all and the darkness bind them.}

The sky went dark. Ada, along with a few other elves flinched in pain. But, I didn't, my eyes turned to a hazel color and I sat there, frozen.

The scene changed again.

Once again I was in Mordor. A light shined on me I looked up and saw an eye gorged in flames.

(The Eye of Sauron.)

He spoke to me, telling me he can make everything I ever wished would come true. My hair would just be white like it once was, it would no longer glow. I would be normal, but it came with a price.

I had to follow him.~

~~~
They reached the closed doors to the library, just like Elrond left them. Opening the doors, they saw papers flying all over the room. Just like that the wind stopped and the papers fell the to the floor.
Celebrían screeched for her youngest, finding her on the floor curled up in a ball, her back facing the shattered door.
Celebrían along with her husband made their way over to Lìvias' motionless body. Elladan, Elrohir, and Arwen stayed and started to pick up the papers.
Elrond sat beside his wife, as Celebrían turned her daughter over seeing her face was untouched.
Nothing was wrong, but her eyes is what scared Celebrían the most. Her eyes were wide open, they also have hazel color.
~"Choices."~ Elrond heard, a voice in his head.
They found that theses papers had pictures on them, drawings. Elrohir picked up the drawing of himself killing the orc.
"By the Valar." He breathed.
Arwen found the picture of her and the baby, but said nothing and hide it from everyone. She folded the picture and placed it in her dress pocket.
Elrond placed his hand over Lìvias' heart hoping to find a beat.
~~~

~Elrond stood in the black plains of Mordor. The dry wind blew harshly, as he had to shield his eyes.

He saw an eye gorged in flames, shining a light on a woman, an Elleth. She wore a white gown and had white hair.

"Lìvia?"

She turned startled, her eyes widened. One in flames and the other completely white.

Tears streamed down her face. As she mouthed three words.

"I'm sorry, Ada."

There was a white flash and silence.~

~~~
Elrond threw his hand back and watched Lìvia's eyes turn brown once again.
"Lìvia?" Her mother asked.
Lìvia looked at her parents.
"He's-coming." She whispered, and fell asleep in her mother's arms.
'Melleth?' What -"
"Just take her to bed, 'Melamin.' I'll be there shortly."
Celebrían nodded and carried her out the door, but before Elrond saw Lìvias' hands blistered red. Elrond ferried his brow.
~"Choices."~ It whispered again.
Elrond was brought out from thinking, when Elladan spoke.
"Ada."
Elrond looked up and saw his children in front if him.
"Yes, Elladan."
"You might what to take a look at theses." He said handing his father the pictures.
Elrond took them and looked at them in amazement. Arwen walked over to where a table and chair was. She picked up the tipped ink jar and placed it back on the table. Also taking notice in another drawing on the floor.
"Here is another one." She said picking it up and examining it.
"A-Ada." Arwen said shaking.
"Arwen, what is it?" Elrond asked.
Her hand started to shake as she handed her father the picture.
"Look." She said, her voice shaken.
Elrond took the drawing and glanced at it. He was speechless, at the drawing, a drawing of an eye.
[Lìvia has been touched by him.]
[Yes.]
[Just as I feared.]
[What does it mean?]
[It means Lìvias' faith is more than before, tied in to Middle-earths'. She must stay here till her time ends.]
~~~

Lìvias' POV

~I woke up on a cold stone floor. I looked around at my surroundings, dark and damp.

(I must have fallen asleep.)

I got up and started walking around. I noticed I was still wearing my blue and black dress. I quickly checked my left side felt my dagger still there.

As I continued to walk, until I saw light. I ran to it, hoping it was my way out. But when I made it, I was blocked by a cell door. I tried to move it, but it did not budge, not even a little.

I turned back around hoping to find another way out, but when I did, there was only a wall.

"Hello!?" I asked turning back to the cell door. "Anyone there?!"

(Where am I?)

"Hello!? Anyone?!"

No one answered or came.

"What is this place?" I whispered.

I had so many questions running through my mind.

(Where am I? And how did I get here?)

~~~
Someone's POV
I couldn't sleep, though I'm not sure why. I decided to walk around some. I pulled my covers back and swung my feet over the side of my bed.
As they landed on the cold wood floor, I pulled on my boots on. I then noticed a key on a chain laying on the floor.
(Strange. Where did this come from?) I thought, picking it up.
"I wonder what it goes to?" I questioned putting it around my neck, and under my shirt.
I made my way to the door, opening it slowly, so it won't make a sound. I looked out my door, both ways. Empty.
(Hopefully the guards will not see me.)
Closing the door, I started walking anywhere, but here.
Though as I continued walking I noticed there were hardly any one here.
"Where is everyone." I whispered to myself.
That is when I heard a female voice.
"Hello?! Anyone there?!"
For some reason her voice sounded familiar, but from where.
"Hello?! Anyone?!"
I ran after her voice.
~~~

I came to the cells.

"Hello?" I asked.

No response.

"Anyone there?" I asked again.

This time I got a response.

"Over here."

I made my way down the stairs to the first cell. I was taken aback seeing her.

From what I could see, she had white hair and beautiful brown eyes.

(Where have I seen that before?)

~~~
Lìvia's POV
I heard light footsteps.
"Hello?" A male voice asked.
He sounded familiar.
"Anyone there?" He asked again.
I got up and made it to the cell door.
"Over here." I replied.
The footsteps came close, and I saw his face. I was surprised to see him so young. He had light blonde hair, and bright blue eyes.
"How did you get in there?" He asked.
"I'm not sure. I woke up in here. ...Do you know where I am?"
"You are in Greenwood, milady."
(Greenwood?! How in Middle-earth did I get here?!)
"Do you think you can help me?" I asked referring to the cell door.
"Yes, of course milady. Maybe this might work." He said pulling a key out, over his neck.
"Where did you get that?"
"I found it on my floor. I have no idea how it got there."
"Well, let us see if it does, what you think it does."
He nodded and placed it in the slot. Turning it, making a click sound and we both smiled.
"You might want to stand back." He warned.
As I moved out of the way, he pushed the cell door forward, and put the key back around his neck. I walked out of the cell and hugged him.
"Thank you." I said pulling away.
"Oh. It was no problem milady." He said, dragging the lady part.
I saw his face change emotions very fast. I knew what he was staring at.
All the elves did, my hair.
~~~

Now I was really surprised, brown and white hair. I never have seen anything like it.

But she quickly knew, what I was staring at.

"You probably think its weird." She said, not looking at me.

"What?"

"My hair. ...Its alright if you think so. Many elves do." She said, still not meeting my gaze.

"Where are you from, milady?"

"Rivendell." She said, this time meeting my eyes.

Her eyes widen.

"I have to get home! My family must be worried about me!" She exclaimed, then making her way up the stairs.

"Wait!" I called, grabbing her wrist, which caused her to stop and look at me.

"My father can send word to Rivendell, and tell your family, you are here and unharmed."

"But that's the thing. How did I get here?"

I had no time to answer, before the ground started to shake. We both had trouble keeping our own balance.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" She shouted.

"I DON'T KNOW!"

Just like that the stone steps, disappeared from under our feet. We both screamed, falling into darkness.

~~~
Lìvias' POV
I landed with a thud. Looking around I landed in an ashy field. I noticed the boy was with me as well. He looked around until his eyes landed on me.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"Yea. You?"
"Yea."
Standing up he offered his hand to me, I accepted it. Pulling me to my feet. Then he looked closer to our surroundings.
"Where are we?"
I looked around again, quickly releasing where we were.
"Mordor." I replied.
"Mordor? You mean Sauron and the Ring? That Mordor?"
"Well, how many other Mordors do you know?"
"Fair enough. How did we even get here?"
"I'm not sure. All of this, makes no sense. Surly this is a dream. Right?" I asked looking at him.
He shook his head, turning to me.
"This can't be a dream. I never went to sleep."
The wind howled, and caused dust from the ground to fly. Causing us to cover our eyes. Once it died down he spoke.
"I think we need to start walking. I do not like this place. Its to -"
"Evil."
He nodded, as we started walking.
"Well, since it seems we have some time." I said, he looked at me. "Why do you not tell me about yourself."
"What is there to tell?"
"Well, your father. You said he could send word to my family. Who is he?"
"He is someone of high power. Not like the King, but the next highest."
"I see, like an adviser?"
"Yes. What about your father?"
"He is very wise, also a skilled healer. I'm learning everything from him."
"So, he is a healer?"
I nodded.
"Now, tell me about yourself."
"Me? Why?"
"Well, for starters. You have a dagger hidden in your dress. Why is that?"
I chuckled.
"I guess its not hidden now. It was a gift, you never know what might happen."
"Indeed." He said smiling. I smiled back.
"What is your name."
'Peredhil.' "Yours?"
"Greenleaf."
"May I ask you something?"
He nodded.
"What is your real name."
"What is yours?"
"I asked you first."
He chuckled has well.
"Legolas, and what is yours?"
I was about to speak, when I heard whispers. Causing me to stop, and listen.
{Hiil-izish, adles. Hiil-izub-mog. Lat krah zo.} It whispered. {Follow me, child. Follow my voice. You are mine.}
"Do you hear that?" I asked looking around for the face of the voice.
"Hear what?"
{Hiil-izish, adles. Hiil-izub-mog. Lat krah zo.}
"That!" I half shouted.
The voice continued to get louder, now causing the ground to shake.
{Hiil-izish, adles! Hiil-izub-mog! Lat krah zo!}
The ground stopped, as I continued to look for the face, but found no one. I turned back to Legolas, whose eyes was closed, but I could read his face. He was in pain.
"Are you alright?"
He slowly nodded his head.
"Yes. It is I just never heard that language before." He explained, looking at me.
"How come it did not effect you? My father has told me much of that language. He told me no elf can not flinch, at the language."
"I am unsure, but you will find out with me I'm not like most elves."
He gave me a worried look, as the wind picked up once more. A shadow emerged from the ground. Dressed in black he was, his hair black as well, his skin was pale like snow.
"Morgoth." I said under my breath.
"What do we have here? Elves do we? What are elflings doing here?" He asked with a smirk.
"That's none of your business." I spatted.
"Oh, but it is my business. You are trespassing, on My grounds."
"We don't even know how we got here." Legolas explained.
Morgoth scoffed.
"I find that hard to believe." He said coming closer to us.
We stepped back, as he came closer. I slowly eased out my dagger out, but he only chuckled.
"That will not help you here."
"Try me." I said, pulling it out fully, aiming it at him.
He chuckled again. He flicked his wrist, which sent my dagger flying out of my hand.
Legolas and I backed up even farther.
Moving in front of me, Morgoth flicked his wrist again and sent Legolas flying, in the same direction as my dagger. He landed with a thud, and Morgoth started to make his way towards him.
"Leave him alone!" I shouted.
He turned back to me, and in one swop he picked me up by the neck, holding me tight.
"NO!" Legolas cried.
My feet hovered above the ground, gasping for breath. I stared into his cold yellow eyes, as he spoke.
{Lat awr lul agh ang lats-ishi. Lat awr-}
{You have flower and iron in your blood. You have-}
"AGH!" He cried in pain and dropped me.
I gasped letting the air back in my lungs. I saw what happened, Legolas stabbed Morgoth in the leg with my dagger.
'Peredhil.' He said pulling my dagger out of his leg, and pulled me up off the ground.
"You alright?"
I nodded.
"You pathetic elves, will pay!" Morgoth shouted, standing back up.
Just then another shadow figured appeared, right behind us. I backed away from the figure, only to be grabbed by Morgoth. Having his own knife up it my neck.
"Ah!"
"Hey!" Legolas shouted, making his way to me, but was stopped by the figure. Grabbing his wrists tight, as the stepped farther back from us.
"Let me go!" He demanded, trying to move his wrists from the shadow's grip, but failed.
"Now, that I have your attention. You can, - and will watch her die."
"NO!" Legolas cried, stomping on the figures' foot causing him to lose his grip on him. Legolas ran to me.
At the same time I bit Morgoths' hand, also running.
"Quick grab him!" Morgoth shouted, grabbing my arm, which pulled me back.
The figure also grabbed Legolas as well.
We were so close, our fingers brushed each other's and there came a white flash.
And there was silence.~
I think thats the longest I've ever writen.
*Starts singing*
'I know you, I walked with you Once Upon A Dream.
I know you that gleam in your eye is so familiar a glen.'
*Starts dancing*
