The next day at Royal Prep, Amber, Hildegard, and Clio were ready to get Sofia sneezing around Hugo again. When the trio saw Sofia and Hugo together, they went up to them.

"Sofia, shouldn't you get away from Prince Hugo?" Amber asked. "He might make you sneeze again."

"He's not the one making me sneeze, Amber," Sofia declared.

"Of course he is," Hildegard insisted. "You've been sneezing a lot whenever he's around."

Sofia and Hugo had a feeling that these girls were responsible for what'd been going on recently. Suddenly, a packet of seeds fell out of Hildegard's purse and landed by Hugo's feet. That's when one of the seeds landed on Hugo's boot and grew into a lily—which made Sofia sneeze.

"You see, Sofia?" Amber smiled nervously. "Hugo is making you sneeze again."

"No, Amber, it's not Hugo making me sneeze," Sofia sniffled, picking up the seeds. "It's these enchanted lily seeds."

"I thought we threw those away on Friday," Hugo frowned, picking the lily off his boot.

"And the only flower in Freezenburg is the Nettledrop," Sofia agreed. She angrily turned to the girls and asked, "What were you doing with these lilies?"

"Nothing really," Amber smiled nervously.

"That's right—we're not going to tell you that we took these seeds from the trash and planted them on Prince Hugo to make it seem like Sofia is allergic to him," Hildegard gulped...just before realizing what she'd just said.

"You just did," Hugo glared.

"Hildegard!" Amber hissed.

"I should've known you were responsible for this," Sofia glared.

"But we had to it, Sofia," Hildegard protested. "We try so hard to get Prince Hugo to notice us, but you do nothing, and you end up winning him over."

"That's because she's a good friend—and my best friend," Hugo pointed out. "Seriously, I think I'm done being nice to all of you. You cause trouble for us just to keep us away from each other."

"This hurts me more than it hurts you, Amber, but I'm not going to be nice to you either," Sofia frowned.

Those words really hurt Amber—she didn't think Sofia would ever stop being nice to her. "Sofia, you don't mean that," she gaped.

"Yes, I do," Sofia insisted. She and Hugo walked away, leaving the trio shocked and hurt.
