Princess Sofia and Prince Hugo have been best friends ever since they won the Flying Crown for Royal Prep. Before Sofia and Hugo were friends, they were rivals. Hugo used to be arrogant and egotistical, but Sofia found out it was because he was suffering from pressure of living up to his family's legacy. Fortunately, Sofia helped him out, and now his nerves were calm.

Before Sofia was a princess, she was best friends with Jade and Ruby. They liked making new friends, and they didn't mind Sofia making new friends of her own. But Ruby and Jade were jealous of Hugo because Sofia was very close to him. They didn't want to lose Sofia. Sofia had been having friendship problems with Ruby and Jade thanks to their jealousy of her friendship with Hugo. Sometimes it was hard to let them be friends, but they promised to control their jealousy.

It was a cold wintry day. Roland had a brand new outdoor ice rink for Sofia, so she and Hugo could ice-dance together. Sofia and Hugo were happily ice-dancing, and they didn't want to stop.

Just then, Jade and Ruby arrived and saw the ice rink. They were so excited to ice-skate on it with Sofia...until they saw Hugo with her. Jade and Ruby weren't happy to see Hugo, but they were amazed by his amazing talent. Sofia then saw Ruby and Jade watching her and Hugo.

"Ruby! Jade!" Sofia called.

"Wow, Sofia, is this your ice rink?" Jade gaped.

"Yeah, Dad made it for me," Sofia smiled. "It's perfect for Enchanted Ice Dancing."

"What's so enchanting about it?" Ruby asked.

"All you need are a pair of enchanted skates," Hugo declared.

Hugo started skating and performed a triple fireball flip. Ruby and Jade were amazed.

"The magic in the skates helps you perform all those fancy moves," Hugo smiled.

"Hugo taught me how to do all those fancy flips and spins," Sofia smiled.

"Really?" Ruby asked.

"Where did you learn how to do all that, Prince Hugo?" Jade asked.

"My dad made me and my brother participate in so many rugged sports that I had enough muscle to make these moves even fancier," Hugo giggled. "Speaking of my family, we're going on vacation for a week."

"You are?" Jade and Ruby asked excitedly.

But then the duo saw Sofia glaring at them. She wasn't happy that they wanted Hugo out of the way because they promised they would control their jealousy.

"I mean, that sounds like fun," Ruby declared. "Where are you going?"

"We're going for a hike in the mountains," Hugo replied. "We might find a frozen pond for ice-dancing or playing ice hockey. We're leaving tomorrow morning."

"That's why we're ice-dancing in my new rink now," Sofia chimed in. "We just want to do a little ice-dancing before Prince Axel comes to take Hugo home."

"Oh, well, then you should at least enjoy every moment until then," Jade declared.

"Yeah, we should keep going," Sofia agreed.

Sofia and Hugo went on ice-dancing. Jade and Ruby were very happy; since Hugo was going on vacation, it meant they'll have Sofia to themselves for a whole week. Since Hugo and Sofia do everything together, it was hard for Ruby and Jade to enjoy themselves because Hugo would always steal a lot of Sofia's attention.
