A little later, the whole group was rested, and they continued their walk. Axel and Roderick were still reminiscing about their days in this park when they were as young as Hugo and Sofia.

"Hey, Ax, remember that time when Professor Popov joined us on a field trip to this park?" Roderick asked.

"Yeah, and we thought we heard a herd of tigers coming after us," Axel recalled, trying not to laugh. "But really, it was just..."

"...Professor Popov snoring!" Axel and Roderick laughed in unison.

Hearing this funny story made everyone else laugh. Hugo was happy because it seemed like Axel and Roderick were becoming friends again.

"It looks like Axel and Roderick are going to be friends again," Sofia smiled.

"I'm so glad I gave Roderick a second chance," Hugo smiled.

"Me too, but their friendship broke because Roderick wasn't nice to you," Caleb pointed out. "I guess the best way for our brothers to be friends again is for Roderick to be friends with you."

Having heard that, Roderick said, "I think you're right, Caleb."

Axel wanted to be friends with Roderick again, but he wanted Roderick to be friends with Hugo too.

Later, the whole group continued walking. Axel had an idea.

"Hey, Roderick, how would you like to walk around with Hugo?" Axel suggested.

"Sure, if Hugo himself is up for it," Roderick nodded.

"I sure am," Hugo smiled.

Hugo and Roderick went to walk around. It made Axel happy to see them getting along.

Meanwhile, Amber, Hildegard, and Clio were walking around, and something caught Hildegard's eye: a Pelicant's egg in a nearby nest. She remembered what happened the last time she asked for a Pelicant's egg, but she just had to take it home with her. Hildegard was just about to sneak to the next only to hear a familiar voice to snap at her, "Don't even think about it, Hildegard!"

Hildegard jumped and turned around to see Sofia glaring at her. "Sofia, what are you doing here?" he gulped.

"No, what are you doing?" Sofia glared. "You're not going steal that egg, are you? Do you remember the last time you did that?"

"Oh, Sofia, that was a long time ago," Hildegard told her.

"That doesn't mean it'll be any different this time," Sofia snapped.

"Of course, it will," Hildegard insisted.

Unable to talk Hildegard out of it, Sofia said, "Okay, but don't say I didn't warn you."

Hildegard went to the nest, took the egg out, and put it in her bag. "See, Sofia?" she sniffed. "There's nothing to worry about."

Soon, the students got together, ready to hike some more. Sofia met up with Axel and Caleb.

"We'd better find Hugo and Roderick before we take off," Caleb suggested.

"I hope they're having fun," Sofia smiled.

Suddenly, the group was surrounded by a herd of Pelicants, and the birds didn't seem very happy.

"I don't think these birds are going to make it any more fun," Axel gulped.
