The whole Buttercup troop went back inside. Ruby and Jade weren't embarrassed anymore, but they hoped nobody would make fun of them for what they did.

"I don't think we should worry so much," Ruby declared. "Let's just enjoy ourselves."

Ruby and Jade continued to draw in their sketchbooks. Jade was trying to draw a lion. Ruby was trying to draw Cinderella's stepsisters. She didn't think they'd come out very good.

"Wow, how do you like the way I drew Cinderella's stepsisters?" Ruby asked, showing Jade her drawing.

"Yikes, even uglier than usual," Jade cringed.

One nearby boy had seen Ruby's drawing and said, "Wow, Cindy's stepsisters have never looked any better."

That quote made Ruby smile. He was right about the drawing.

Sofia and Hugo were drawing in their own books. Sofia showed Hugo her drawing of Shuriki, the evil sorceress who'd invaded Avalor and overthrown Princess Elena's family. She was responsible for Elena's 41-year imprisonment in Sofia's amulet, the Amulet of Avalor.

"Do you like my drawing of Shuriki?" Sofia asked.

"Wow, good," Hugo said. "She looks like the Evil Queen—you know, Snow White's stepmother?"

"Yes, she does," Sofia agreed.

Hearing that conversation gave Jade and Ruby the idea to draw the Evil Queen. Both girls drew the Evil Queen in their sketchbooks, and they showed their drawings.

"I can't really draw her face very well," Jade admitted.

A boy said, "I think you did a great job—you really drew her inner beauty."

That was really funny, and it made Ruby and Jade laugh. Sofia was happy to see that Ruby and Jade were having fun and not worrying so much about boys.

Ruby and Jade sure learned a lesson: it's okay to have a crush, but it's not a good idea to stress about something you're too young for. You should also worry about having fun and not having a boyfriend or girlfriend.
