sitaara groaned and stirred in her sleep as her alarm was disturbing her beautiful early mornig sleep . The coolness of ooty and the comfort of her soft woollen rug made it even more diffiicult for her to get up . after 10 mins she found herself shaking continuously with a voice that heard as if it was from the depth of a well .

charupriya " eii endhiri d kumba karni mudhal naale lateaa poga vachuruva polaye . endhiri sivaangi endhiri endhiri sivaag endhiri"

she was shaking her continuously for which sitaara opened half eyes and looked at her as if she was looking at her for the first time which resembled a cute little kitten . 

charupriya " eii endhiri d mani enna theriyuma 8:30 collegeku 9ku irukanum ." sivaangi got up lazily and went inside the bathroom to get herself ready mumbling "ok mummy " and dashing her by side chapri smiled at her and started combing her hair . meanwhile sitaara came out of the bathroom throwing away the wet towel in the bed earning a glare from charupriya . sitaara smiled sheepishly and took it out and dried it in a hanger . then she tied her hair into a pony tail and said "aangg polaam d messku "

charupriya looked at her and said " eii pottu vai d college first day "

sitaara frowned and said " pottulaam venaam enaku pasikudhu vaa polaam "

she dragged her by arms and they entered the mess . sitaara thought the mess to be of international standard but what she saw was a steel structure with insulation poly venyl sheet and steel flooring . she remembered seeing a high end glass finish building to be mentioned as mess in the official website of the college.

charupriya went inside with same confusion and the food that was served was more than surprise for them . half boiled idlies which were sticky enough in their hands were served with a watery sambhar . sivaangi looked at the food with a shocking expression while charu literally said no to the food right after seeing the sight and just took a cup of coffee for herself .

sitaara was looking at the plate without knowing how to eat and looked around to see seniors eating the food without any other choice with clear disgust written over their faces . chapri looked at her and pushed the plate away and placed the coffee mug in front of her . 

charupriya " idha kudi d indha vegaadhadha saapta dysentry dhaa pogum adhuku saapdaamaye irukalaam " with that she took out her snacks box and opened showing her sliced apples. " idhu saapdalaam enta fruits iruku "

she asked in a high tone which was audible enough for everyone seated in the mess. charu sensed the gaze of others on them and said " sithu medhuva dhaan pesen ellaarum paakuraanga "

sitaara " paakatume naa edhum thappa sollalaye aama nee en bayapdra "and started munching the apple pieces charu mentally facepalmed and started eating as she expected few seniors were smirking at them . chapri thought to herself " rightu mudha naale saniyana banianla potuta sethom "

chapri " seri seri seekram saapdu kelambalaam " she sensed something wrong and as she predicted one of her seniors called her . 

there was a gang of 5 and none of them seem to be emitting good aura .

senior 1 " oye inga vaa "

sitaara " ennaya anna ?"

senior 1 " unna dhaan vaa "

charu thought of accompanying sivaangi and went along with her while the one who called her said "unna naa kooptena po "

charu let the place with heavy heart while sivaangi was looking more like observing them .

sitaara looked at him confusingly and said "naa dhaan solluven "

they looked at her wierd voice while senior 3 said " enna vara vazhila bladeah mulungitiyaa keechu keechunu iruku koralu "

sitaara " naa bladeah mulungalanna aana neenga dhaan speakera mulungiteenganu nenaikkuren ppaa kaadhu valikkudhu "

seniors got furious with her answer and said " eiii enna thimira naanga summa per ketutu vitralaamnu dhaan nenachom nee adhulaam podhaadhunu solra polaye . ippo enna panra dhooo inga irukaanla ivanuku propose pannu "

sitaara looked at the senior whom they pointed at and he was smoking which seemed similar to that of a train .

sitaara folded her hands and said "mudiyaadhu "

senior 1 " you will face the consequence "

while sitaara was about to reply there was a voice behind her " what if she doesn't "

and she found a man merely 4 inches higher than her with a much warm base voice dressed up in formals standing right next to her glaring at them . 

seniors stood up and were standing looking at him while the first senior who called him was still sitting in the chair with a hint of mockery in his eyes . 

the person looked at the senior 2 and asked " 2nd year right ? "

senior 2 " ye.... ye... yess sir "

the person " enna raggingaa ?" and he pierced the one sitting with mockery in his eyes with his death glare which made him stand up and the person roared again "enna raggingaanu keten ?"

senior 3"illa sir summa interact pannalaamnu ...."

the person " interaction must make people comfortable not disgust ." he looked at his wrist watch and said "its 9:25 rush to your classes oruthana lateaa paathen tholachuruven "

everyone took their bags and rushed out of mess while everyone who were watching the scene laid down their head when he turned at others . 

he turned towards her while sitaara was looking at him with a respect . he smiled warmly at her and said her " its time for your class you may leave "

sitaara "thank you ... sir "

he smiled and passed her while sitaara mouthed ""what a mann..." charupriya was standing tensed outside the mess while sitaara came in hopping . chapri looked at her up and down while sitaara pulled her cheeks and said "classku time aachu vaa chapri polaam ."

as she pulled her chapri noticed a figure getting up from the last bench and it turned out to be ashwin and the rage which filled his eyes was terrifying . before she could utter anything sitaara pulled her  to class while the seniors who came out of the mess and marching towards their class met the shock of their life . 

Aryan was standing with folded hands in the entrance of the class and glaring at each and every one of them . Ashwin came near the first senior and just slapped him across his face which reverbated all along the walls of the classroom .

the senior never ever dared to look at him while he stormed out of the classroom with no explanation for his slap as both were understandable . the senior 1 gripped his cheek and muttered under his breath to control his frustration while Rakshan came near him and said with a glare " mudhal dhadavandradhaala adiyoda pochu paathu nadandhuko senior aaytadhaala onnum kombu molachurala "

with that he stormed out of the place  while Aryan was fuming in anger . he could still remember the words he heard . Sandhya noticed this and came near him while still he was cursing them under breath "aayaram vaati sonne aayaram vaati sonne namaku nadandhadhu namma juniorskum nadaka koodaadhu da ragginglaam pannaadheenga interact mattum pannunganu . enna thimirirundha naa avlo solliyum avala poi ... cha " 

Sandhya " Aryan nee dhaana student chairman poi innaiku clubs pathi announce panniru "

Aryan looked at her with disbeleif and continued "Sandy can you just see what happened "

Sandy " so what ? it happened and i liked the way she reverted back . Aryan onnu purunjuko we are seniors and we should guide them not protect them . idha nee dhaan solluva neeye innaiku overreact panra . i liked the way she responded back to him in a bold way . just look at that instead of thinking on and on about this . "

Aryan listened to her words and yes he himself realised that he lost his cool very soon today for her and he reacted in a way to protect her instead of guiding her which is unlike his way f dealing problems . Aryan composed himself and got the papers from Sandy and looked at her while she smiled and said " its time for class lets announce about the club activities in break ippo classku polaam "

with that he gave a nod and followed her back to class while here sitaara and charu were sitting in their class . it was time for first hour and the batchmates were trying to have introduction among themselves . while sitaara mingled with everyone with ease charu was observing each and everyone . The commotion came to an end as they heard footsteps at the entrance of the class and charu and sitaara rushed to a seat while sitaara sat in the left and to right of charu a seat was unoccupied. 

The students looked at the figure coming in with curiosity while chapri and sitaara looked at him with a hint of shock . it was the same faculty they met in the morning who saved sitaara from the ragging . 

the faculty came in front and said in his very own unique enthusiastic base voice " good morning everyone am ARJUN your class incharge as well as basic design faculty .  so ... for as a ritual the first period of today will be an introductory session but... for a change i dont want you guys to just come and say your name . i want you guys to show a glimpse of the talents you posess alongside your name . ummm.... before that i wanna change your seating pattern. idhenna schoola girls oru pakkam boys oru pakkam pirinju ukkaandhurukeenga ? its a professional college and inga gender shouldnt be your consideration to interact . common get up oru ponnu oru paiyannu ukkaarunga"

everyone looked at each other a little awkwardly while arjun "mm hurry up " and within 5 minutes the seating was all done . as sitaara chose corner seat this time a guy sat in between chapri and sitaara .

charupriya looked at the guy who seemed to be full of energy and a radiant smile plastered over his face . his look were immediately radiating a friendly aura and as expected sitaara and the guy started having a normal conversation while chapri let out a sigh and started concentrating on the introduction while she felt a pen poking her hand .

she turned to her side to see the guy looking at her with an ever dashing smile and let out his hand " hi am jagdish you ??"

chapri held his hand with a smile and said "charu charupriya "

sitaara "chaprinu sollu jaggu "

chapri glared at her while sitaara let out a sheepish grin jagdish smiled and said "chapri nalla dhaan iruku but ... chaya seems more comfortable for me "

charupriya "chaya va ?"

jagadish showed his two hands "charu -cha plus priya -ya gives chaya nallaarukulla "

charupriya face brightened with this new nickname which sounds pretty cute and she turned to sivaangi to say "nicknamena ipdi vaikanum neeyum vaikuriye "

sitaara pulled out her tongue while jagdish said "adhukkellaam moola venum chaya ivaluku.... konjam kashtam dhaan " gave a hifi to charu making sitaara whined and bet his arms . the moment three of them found a new comfort zone which is gonna grow more and more in upcoming years of thicks and thins .
