"I hate the beach," Nico muttered as he and Will tracked through the sand, his feet burning from the hot sand and his legs burning from simply using them.

"Aw c'mon," Will said, looking back at him with a wide smile, "you can't say that yet, you haven't even experienced it."

"I've experienced enough," he said, shifting the bag on his shoulder, sighing when Will finally picked a spot for them to set their stuff down. Will smiled, grabbing a bottle of sunscreen from the bag and handing it to Nico, who rolled his eyes as he took it.

When their stuff was set up and they were both coated in a thick layer of sunscreen, Will grabbed Nico's hand and started pulling him to the water.

"Will," Nico whined, "I don't want to get in the water, it's all gross and salty and when we get out the sand is gonna stick to us."

"You don't want to sit out in the sun all day though. It's gonna get hot," he said, raising an eyebrow at him as the continued to walk to the water. Nico huffed.

"I don't want to get in the water, Solace," he complained, and Will paused, turning to look at Nico. Then, he grinned, leaning in and whispering something in Nico's ear that made him gasp and hit Will's chest as he blushed. Will snickered, tugging on Nico's arm, Nico going without a fight this time.

When they reached the water, Nico's face was immediately taken over by one of pure discomfort. Will laughed at him, taking his arms and pulling him deeper into the water.

"I don't like this," he muttered, following Will with a frown.

"You're cute," Will responded, and Nico stuck his tongue out. Will laughed, wrapping his arms around Nico when they were in the water up to their shoulders, and Nico smiled slightly, wrapping his arms and legs around Will.

"You pull me out here, you have to carry me," he said as an explanation, making Will chuckled, pulling him closer. Nico sighed, resting his head on Will's shoulder and refusing to admit how nice being in the water with Will actually was.

Later, once they had spent a good portion of the day in the water, they went back to the hotel and showered. Nico pulled Will into the bed with him and buried his face into his side, making Will smiled as he wrapped his arms around Nico.

"I know you liked the beach," Will stated, and Nico lifted his face up briefly to stick his tongue out.
