Will looked up as Nico sat down on the cot with a sigh.

"Hey," Will said, putting the clipboard in his hand aside, and Nico looked up at him.

"Hey," he mumbled, kicking his legs back and forth. Will raised an eyebrow.

"What's up?" He asked, and Nico shrugged, biting his lip, looking away from Will. He thinks he sees Nico's lips quirk, but he must have imagined it because it's gone seconds later.

"How are you?" he asks, and Will laughs.

"I'm curious," he says, leaning forward, "you're acting differently."

"Is that a bad thing?" he asks, cocking his head to the side with a raised eyebrow, and Will shakes his head with a smile.

"Nope, I kind of like it," he says, then Nico does smile, and Will feels himself blush because Nico's smile was beautiful. Will laughs, "okay, really, what's going on? What's got the ghost king all smiley?" he asks, and Nico giggles, shrugging again.

"I just feel happy," he says, making Will smile wider.

"Well that's good," he says, and Nico nods, and for a second they just look at each other. Nico starts blushing though, looking away.

"Do you wanna go get some lunch with me?" He asks and Will laughs, standing.

"Yeah," he says, and Nico smiles softly, hopping off the cot.
