SOME TYPE OF LOVE
:: xxix, bad liar

It was the day after watching Jimmy Fallon, 12pm to be precise. Isabelle was off work, luckily cause she most definitely slept in. She yawned opening her eyes and turned to look at the digital clock that read 12pm. She got from underneath the covers and placed her feet on the cold, hardwood floor.

As she wiped her eyes, there was a knock at her door. She rolled her eyes as she stood up. Though she was just getting up, noise very much annoyed her— only when she wakes up. She ran her fingers through her hair as she approached the door. Her hand gripped the knob and twisted it, opening the door.

She literally wiped her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things and she wasn't. Emma was actually standing in front of her.

"Morning, sleeping beauty." Emma smiled.

Isabelle groaned, leaving her at the front door which Emma thought— meant that she could come in. So she did and closed the door behind her.

"I thought you'd be happy to see me!" Emma yelled just loud enough for Isabelle to hear.

Isabelle popped her head out her room, "I am. It's just unexpected, considering what happened."

Emma made her way to Isabelle's bedroom, "And what exactly happened?"

Isabelle was in the middle of getting ready for the day. So when Emma made her way in the room, she quickly covered herself up with whatever she had in her hands in that moment.

"Seriously? It's not like I haven't seen any of that before." Emma crossed her arms over her chest.

"Fine." Isabelle threw the shirt on the floor and continued to prance around in her bra and underwear. "I'm glad you're hear though.." Isabelle began, "I wanted to tell you that quitting acting is a bad move."

Emma sat on Isabelle's bed, "I'm not quitting, just taking a break and that's what I wanted to talk to you about."

Though Isabelle didn't expect Emma to come to her apartment, she had a feeling that Emma would want to try and work this all out— their relationship. She has nothing against that, she wants to work it out too. It's just . . . will it work out?

Relationships aren't easy, which she knows but sometimes they can be impossible. And she just wonders if this was the kind of relationship that was impossible but just like Emma, she wanted to make it work— especially, since she loves her.

"Em, I love you, you know that and I want this to work out more than anybody— which is why you are going to call your agent and tell him that you aren't taking a break and wherever you go, I'm coming with you." Isabelle told her, proudly.

"Wait— seriously?" Emma stood up from excitement.

"I thought about it and yeah. I can work from home and home is wherever you are." A smile formed on Isabelle's face. It was cheesy, but that's how she felt.

Emma walked up to her and hugged her half naked body, "So you did miss me."

"No." Isabelle joked with her arms around Emma's waist.

Emma rolled her eyes as she pulled out the hug, "You're such a bad liar."

Emma and Isabelle walked hand and hand along the streets of Los Angeles. They didn't care who was seeing him them, if paparazzi was taking pictures. They were just happy they were together.

Isabelle can't ever say she never felt this way cause she has before, with Dylan but this time, it was different and not just because she's with a girl. The feeling, the repeated butterflies in her stomach, when they touch or kiss— everything was different. She was so happy and she wasn't sure if it was Emma or maybe she wasn't as happy with Dylan as she thought she was.

Isabelle didn't know it but Emma felt the exact same way. She, herself hasn't felt like this— ever actually. Though this intense feeling was very new to her, she loved what it was doing and that was letting her be more herself. It's at least one of those feelings. Yeah, she's herself with her friends and family but it was different with Isabelle.

Sure everyone says, yeah but you're different from them but that's not the kind of different emma and Isabelle are talking about. They're talking about the feeling than what they see. It's kind of like intuition. Yeah, it's early in their relationship still but they know it. It's just a matter of time before they began their long-term relationship together.
