Dev Dixit- He is the owner of Dixit Industries and also the founder of Sonakshi Memorial Hospital and SDD orphanage. He is a philanthropist and regularly funds NGO's, schools, old age homes. But after Sonakshi's tragic death, he has turned recluse.

Sakshi Mehra- She is a happy, cheerful, hardworking, free spirited girl and a novelist by profession. Has written various biographies on eminent personalities which have been really successful.

Bunty- Dev's college friend and now works as the Administrative head in the Dixit Industries. He really cares for Dev and tries to bring the 'old Dev' back. However, it seems impossible with Sonakshi gone forever

Riya Sharma- Sakshi's neighbour and her best friend. She is a very sweet lady.
