There is a difference between fake friends and real friends (if you did not know already) and it is hard to find good friends that you can count on and who you can't count on.

When you make new friends try to make friends with the people who sit alone at lunch or sit by themselves in the morning or afternoon. You would have better luck making friends with them then trying to make friends with the 'popular' groups because if you do try they will most likely pick on you and make you change your look and who you are.

And with the lonely/"weird" people they won't make you change who you are and you might learn more things about other people or even find out a thong or two about yourself that you did not know already.

You might of heard the saying: "opposites attract" and that goes for both, friends and couples. When you go for people that are weird and not that many people talk to them, try talking to them and it will be good for both of you.
