"Avni.." Neil said patting on her cheeks while she tried to open her eyes.

He lifted her up and placed her on the couch nearby. His heartbeats were high while he got some water before giving her. She was so weak that she couldn't even lift herself up.

"You're hypoglycemic..." Neil said as he sat beside her, looking at her in concern "Just a second... I'll get you something sweet" He was about to leave while avni stopped him by holding his hand.

"It's In my bag" She said in a weak voice while he nodded before going searching for her bag. He searched for the chocolate while something caught his eye and he frowned. He looked at the pendant which had the letter K dollar, "Come on Neil you can't touch anyone belongings" He shooed away his thoughts and took the bag to her.

"Where is it?" He questioned while she pointed towards the pouch in her bag. He took the pouch out and his eyes widened as he looked at the number of chocolates and the wrappers she had. He shook his head before unwrapping one for her. "Here have this..." He put it in her mouth while she closed her eyes with a dreamy smile.

He looked at her in disbelief while she smiled a bit sitting properly.

"Are you okay?" He questioned looking at her seriously while she nodded

"Better" she mumbled before passing him a small smile.

"Wait...did you have your lunch?" He questioned while blinked her eyes trying to come up with a reply.

"Are you serious Ms Mehta? I know its your life but you should at least listen to someone if they tell you something for your own good!" He said while she put her head down.

"I'm sorry..." She mumbled while he shook his head.

"Why are you apologizing to me? Its not my health which is getting spoiled" He shrugged before getting the lunch which was on the table and she had hardly touched "And you should not be wasting food, come-on eat.." He added as he took a spoonful of rice, holding it in front of her mouth asking her to eat.

She looked at him for sometime before taking a bite, he shook his head again fed her while she kept quite like a obedient child.

"Sir... I'm sorry.." She said again making him frown

"Why are you saying sorry again...are you sure you're okay?" He questioned as he wiggled his brows.

"I'm actually sorry for being rude to you...in the noon" She mumbled while he looked on.

"Its okay, it was my fault to ask you to do something, like you said there will be only office related issue in between us..." The words left his mouth though he didn't want to say that "And... after all you are just a PA to me.." He added.

Avni took a deep breath before nodding though she knew he was telling the truth it made her feel uneasy.

"Let's get going, you're already late..." Neil said as he got up from there, dusting himself.

"I will go on my own..." She replied while he rolled his eyes before signing.

"Have you looked at your condition..."

"I have to go to my friends place, I'm not going home..." She interrupted him in between while he nodded

"Have you booked the cab?" He questioned to which she nodded.

He nodded before asking her to leave, he followed her while she entered the lift, when she found neil entering with her, she took a deep breath as she closed her eyes.

She tried to walk out but his voice stopped her "You left something?" He asked while she shook her head before taking a step backwards.

He smiled to himself before clicking on the button and the lift made its way to the ground floor. He pushed his hands into his pocket waiting patiently. While on the other side avni wanted to run out of there. Even though she would deny she always went weak when she was with him, he had some effect on her while she herself couldn't figure out.

Her hands searched for her phone, she pulled out her phone and looked at it blankly trying to act normal.

"Miss Mehta" His voice hit her ears while she flinched a bit before looking at him. "You are holding the phone upside down..." He said with a serious expression controlling his smiles while she widened her eyes a bit before composing herself.

"Its actually... you know... a new trend to hold your phone like this...even modiji holds his phone this way, that's why.... He is the prime minister of India" She tried to act cool before she bit her tongue.

He looked at in disbelief "Sometimes...you are so random Miss Mehta" He mumbled while internally screamed.

"Who keeps the cabin in the 1000th floor and these people have a broken lift it is so slow like a bullock cart" She mumbled to herself while he smiled looking at her, he leaned towards the side, admiring her actions.

The lift reached the ground floor and avni's face lit up, as soon as the door opened she quickly walked out of there and signed in relief.

"Listen.." He called her again making her stop, she turned towards him and raised her brows while he raised his brow in return, she cleared her throat.

"I don't want you to come to the office tomorrow" He said making her frown "Business party is there... you are already unwell and I don't want you to attend"

"But sir..."

"No ifs and buts Ms Mehta, that's my order" He said before asking her to leave.

She cursed him under her breath before walking towards the cab while he smiled to himself making his way towards his car.

"Behind the cab" He pointed at the cab as he sat in his car. The driver nodded his head before following the cab. The cab halted in front of a house, neil kept looking at her till she entered inside.

"You can leave now" He said once he was convinced that avni was safe. It was already late and she had to go alone in a cab.

'Why do you care so much about her neil...' He thought to himself before letting out a sign.

"Whaaaaaaat" Ali widened his eyes looking at avni while avni nodded in response with a sad expression.

"I...I... I don't know what to do... I mean....it hurts..." Tears pricked her eyes while ali and riya consoled her.

"You don't have to cry avni... he never deserved you, get yourself out of the past..." Riya said while avni wiped her tears.

"Its not that easy..." Avni whispered before take a deep breath.

"Now I cant help but wonder how dramatic your life has been lately" Riya wiggled her brows while ali and avni looked on.

"Like Ekta kapoor's serial isn't it!" Ali pipped in "Ek side ex other side new blooming love" He added

"New blooming love? What the hell, ali!!" Avni looked at him with her eyes wide open "He is just my boss and a mere stranger!" She added though somewhere she didn't want to call him a stranger.

Riya and Ali rolled their eyes before nodding "We get it avni, the only problem is karan..." Riya said

"How about I kill him!" Avni said with a evil smile

"How about Karan's family putting you behind bars" Riya rolled her eyes while avni shrugged with a nervous smile.

"You know what tomorrow there is a business party!" Avni added while riya and ali looked on.

"Woah!" Ali raised his brows "Invite me also" He added before receiving a glare from riya in return.

"I think you should go there and show karan that you don't give two shits about him!" Riya smirked while avni looked on

"But I'm not even invited" Avni rolled her eyes

"Why so?" Ali and riya questioned with a frown

"Because... I was kind-of not well today... so Mr. Khanna asked me to take an off tomorrow!" Avni said

"Why? What happened? Are you alright?" Riya questioned, worried about avni.

"Just headache..." Avni mumbled, she remembered how neil panicked when she was almost unconscious, the way he screwed her for not taking care of herself and a smile crept on her face unknowingly.

'He is not that much of a khadoos also... he is a cute khadoos...' she thought to herself before giggling.

"Why are you laughing now?" Riya questioned getting avni back from her khadoos land.

"Nothing Nothing" Avni shook her head while riya nodded

"So now listen, you are going to the party and showing Karan that you don't even care about him and he cant do shit to you..." Riya grit her teeth while avni looked on.

"Yes! I agree!" Ali chirped

"But... I'm not sure..." Avni shuttered while riya rolled her eyes

"Then drop it" riya shrugged and avni looked on, they stayed quite thinking for some time.

"I think I'm going tomorrow" Avni said with a smirk while riya and ali looked at each other.

The next evening Neil walked into a hall which was decorated beautifully making it look aesthetic, people from both the companies were present, some sitting together discussing about important things while some were near the bar having fun.

Neil walked in along with DD and met some of his friends, he was wearing a simple business coat, a professional look but still made him look dashing.

"Avni?" DD frowned looking at neil

"I told earlier right? she is unwell so I asked her to take a day off" Neil said looking at his schedule in his Tab.

"Not that" DD shook his head "Avni is hear" He said.

Neil stopped looking at his Tab and frowned, he looked around some people gasped looking in a particular direction.

Neil followed their gaze and his heart skipped a beat, there she was standing wearing a red dress, which had a cut from above her knees, with a confident expression, looking as beautiful as ever.

Avni took a deep breath looking at everyone and her eyes met his, she gulped before passing him a small smile while he glared at her.
