As the internships go underway, Izuku finds himself face to face with the Hero Killer. In an effort to help Iida, he tries everything in his power to take down the villain. However, once captured, Stain is able to pull out of his restrains and strangely willing to save Izuku from a Nomu taking him hostage and is prepared to face off to the death with everyone in the area only to be stopped by losing consciousness before doing so.

Izuku POV:

After the fight with Stain, he was immediately brought to a hospital monitored by police. Once he was stable from what I was told, he'll be transported to a prison where his situation would be monitored while also spending his time filling out his sentencing. Meanwhile, I was transported to a hospital along with Iida and Native. The damage done to both were minor with mine being probably the heaviest on my hand. There was a minor threat of loss of some motor funcitons due to how it was impaled and hit nerve endings. Fortunately though, it didn't look as dangerous with my hand expected to make a full recovery with a few forms of physical therapy to restore it again. However, I was brought into the hospital for the night to be watched due to the amount of blood loss with Iida having to be brought in as well. I sat in a bed next to him while trying to read a book to make the time go by faster.

"Excuse me, Ryugu? Might I have a word?" I somewhat ignored him mainly for him to understand a lot of respect I had for the idiot went out the window when he went after the Hero Killer. It's not that I blame him for wanting revenge, it's just I thought better of him. "I'm assuming you're giving me the silent treatment because I disappointed you."

'Wow. What gave you that idea?' I gave a sarchastic remark in my head before glancing over to see Iida holding his head down to me.

"I'm terribly sorry. Because of me not listening to your advice, I had not only put myself in danger, but you as well. No amount of apologizing will ever change what I have done, but I do hope that you can at least forgive me enough to remain my friend."

"We are not friends."

"I know. But I still see you as someone I'd respect enough to be a friend."

"And I'm not respectable. I'm just some trash that got a lucky break. Anyone that thinks otherwise is either stupid or just doesn't realize the difference between me and them." I returned to my book while giving another point to get across. "You got insanely lucky tonight. If it wasn't for me or if Izumi would've found you, you probably would've died along with Native. As such, I want to point out something important for you to get." I shut my book to give him my full attention. "The weak do not get to choose how they die."

"What does that even mean?"

"It's something I was told as a child. In short, the strong of this world are those that can write their own life. Meanwhile, the weak are left to feed off of the scraps the strong leave behind. But if you cross one of the strong, you'll be gutted without a second of hesitation. It isn't bad to want to be strong, but know your limits and don't overstep them if you can. You'll live longer that way. You might hurt from it, but you'll not die a quick death."

I turned to lay with my back facing Iida with him asking me a question. "So do you categorize yourself as the strong?"

I thought about it for a moment before shaking my head. "...No. Those that are in our class that face scrutiny or suffer from their own troubles and bring themselves back up are strong. I'm not."

"I see. So that is what you deem as strong. If it means anything to you, I genuinely think you're stronger than you think you are. You're also much kinder than you think."

I was irritated with this comment to sit up and look at my classmate with irritation. "Look, dumbass. I-" I was cut short by the door being slammed off it's hinges by Ulti giving a headbutt to it. "And apparently this is happening."

"IZUKU!" She immedately came and tackled me onto the ground with tears in her eyes. "PLEASE DON'T DIE!"

"I'm not on death's door! Adding to that, why don't you fix the door you broke! Someone has to pay for it and it sure as hell isn't going to be me!"

"She's just upset that you went and did something reckless alone." Shyar came in with everyone from the Mermaid Cafe.

"Not trying to tell you how to run a company, but aren't you suppposed to be open right now?"

"Shyarly took the day off to see you. She was so worried when she got a call saying that you were admitted here that she just had to run over." Chiffon explained this with a bit of a laugh. "We actually had to bind her so she wouldn't start storming off and break into the hospital herself."

Shyar held a bit of a blush on her face before I smiled at her. "It's ok, Shyar. I'm fine. See? Not that bad." I held up my hand still bandaged up while smiling at her. "There's no need to be so bent out of shape about me. I'm always fine-*BAM*!" I was cut off by feeling a fist come at my face. It didn't hurt as badly as one would expect, but it still stung. I looked to who attacked me to notice it was Shyar out of everyone. However, what I saw from her hand shocked me. It was red and there was obviously scrapes from what she did as well as it looked like she was in a lot of pain from it.

"You're ok? Don't get so bent out of shape about you? You're always FINE!?" She glared at me with tears in her eyes. "DO YOU EVEN REALIZE HOW TERRIFIED I WAS!? HOW TERRIFIED EVERYONE ELSE WAS!? HOW MUCH OF YOUR LIFE DO YOU THINK YOU CAN TAKE FOR GRANTED!? DID YOU EVEN HAVE A SHRED OF CONSIDERATION FOR US!?" I noticed a large amount of emotions flooding out of Shyar's normally calm demeanor to shock me. "For years, I've held back saying what I wanted to you. I bit my tongue and didn't say anything as you practically threw yourself into a form of self suicide. Physically tormented yourself to the point of tearing your own body apart. But every time you got hurt...it...I just can't take it. I'm afraid one day if you keep doing this, you're going to do irreversable damage to the point that you won't ever be the same again. Please. For the people who love you and want you to be able to live a long and happy life, just stop doing these things and think of us and how we feel. The things you're doing are both reckless and detrimental." Tears dropped on my face from Shyar as she explained her own personal feelings.

I always thought I could just tough out anything I had to do in order to achieve the ultimate goal I had and succeed for the greater good. But seeing Shyar in pain like this.... "I'm sorry." I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her as a way of comfort. "I didn't realize how much I was hurting you. Thank you for telling me. I...I can't guarantee I won't get hurt like this again with the type of path I'm on, but I promise I'll work harder and be more considerate to what you and everyone think."

"You better." Shyar came off me with Ulti walking over. She glared at me before pulling her head back.

"ULTI HEADBUTT OF LOVE!" She headbutted me right on my forehead and sent me into the ground. If it wasn't for me using Armament to lighten the blow, she probably could've cracked my skull in two.

"What'd you do that for!?"

"THAT WAS FOR PISSING ME OFF! NEXT TIME YOU DO SOMETHING STUPID, DON'T EXPECT IT TO BE A HEADBUTT OF LOVE!"

'More like a headbutt of madness.' I held my head with Iida choosing to speak up right that second.

"Umm, Ms. Ulti. Please do not-"

"Oi." Ulti's head turned to Iida with a bit of rage in her eyes. "You're the asshole that made Izuku fight to protect, aren't you?" The aura coming off of her indicated she wanted to go off on the idiot as he held his head down and nodded. "I'M GONNA POUND YOUR SKULL INTO PASTE-" Fortunately, Reiju knocked her out before she went too far.

"That should calm her down at least for now...I think." I spoke with some unease not knowing if Ulti will stay out for long.

"At least she isn't trying to kill anyone right now." Reiju turned to me and gave me an emotionless look. "I still think she was in the right for knocking sense into you. But some Germa soldiers were stationed in Hosu on my behalf. They recorded everything for me to see the full fight. I also sent it to your father in hopes to avoid him being concerned finding out you were admitted to a hospital. You should probably call him after this also." I nodded as the girls stayed for a little longer before heading out. Fortunately, Ulti was still knocked out with Yamato carrying her out of the hospital on her back before she'd attempt to kill Iida again.

Back in the silence of each other, Iida was somewhat happy seeing how everyone was acting. "You have quite a few colorfully opinionated people in your corner."

"They're unique, but still a nice pair at heart." I got up and went towards my things to the side to try and find a Transponder Snail.

"Ryugu. When you were telling me in the alley about holding in my anger, why did it look like you were hurting?" I tried to avoid staring as I finally found my snail.

"A lot of problems are with me in regards to my kingdom. Some I can't fix because they go against something my mother taught me and something the man that gave me my humanity back said in his final moments." I walked over and began dialing my father. "Some evil made by people and Fishmen are made by corruption by those around them. As such, stopping evil before it makes those it shouldn't effect polluted by the toxic opinions is the responsibility of those it has effected to end a cycle."

The snail started to ring with it eventually picking up my father on the other line. "Hello?"

"Father. It's Izuku."

"Izuku. I heard of your recent feats. I must though ask, are you alright? I learned from Germa's intelligence that you have been admitted to a hospital."

"I'm fine. It wasn't something serious. I'll recover." I tried to pllay down what happened for my father to not seem very convinced on the other line.

"Izuku. I know you are doing this all for our people and I must say that I hold a great deal of respect to you for it. However, please do not do things that will jeopardize your own health. The last thing any of us in the Ryugu kingdom would want to do is obtain a better spot in life at the cost of your own expense."

"It's ok. I can take the pain. I've done so for so long."

Father sighed on the other side as he explained what he meant. "That isn't what I'm trying to address with you. What I mean is have more consideration for your own life. We all love the fact you wish to do so much for our nation, but it pains all of us when we find out just what lengths you are going to. I'm certain even Shyarly and your other fiances would be concerned. Not only that, but there is also the topic of your own friends you've made in school. How do you think they would feel if because of their own safety, you'd have to suffer. Please, my son. Do not take the life you have lightly. That is not what I wish and that is not what your mother would've wished for."

I felt a little bit of pain hearing mother's name said for the person speaking to change to Fukuboshi. "Izuku. Father is right. Though you and I are not bound by blood, I still see you as a brother and someone I feel remorse having to take on our mother's burden. Allow myself and our brothers to carry that burden. It will not harm you to do so."

"*sigh* I'll try. I'm sorry if I had made any of you worry. Please give Mamboshi, Ryuboshi and Shirahoshi my regards."

"I shall. I hope you get better soon."

"Click." The snail stopped for me to put it to the side thinking of what they said.

"They have a point. It's not right that I had done what I did without thinking. But for their sake, perhaps learning how to avoid these types of dangerous battles is for the better."

"This coming from the guy that did something stupid to begin with that caused this." I rolled to my side and showed my back to Iida. As I did, I wanted to point one thing out to him. "If it means anything, I'd have been annoyed if you died. You're actually not that bad of a person to talk to."

"I can say the same to you, when you start to warm up to people." I rolled my eyes as I continued to relax.

With Bakugou, 3rd person POV:

"UNBELIEVABLE! HOW CAN SOME LOW RANKED NOBODY WITHOUT EVEN A QUIRK BEAT SOMEONE LIKE THE HERO KILLER!?" Bakugou was listening to Izumi fuming on the phone. "I HAVE PUT FORTH SO MUCH MORE EFFORT THAN HE CAN IMAGINE! I AM SUPERIOR TO HIM IN EVERY WAY! I HAVE A QUIRK, BETTER GRADES, MORE CONNECTIONS WITH THE MARINES! HOW IS HE ABLE TO ONE UP ME LIKE THIS!?"

Bakugou for the most part ignored it as he looked at an urn, turning it around in his hands. "I guess he got lucky is all."

"THE PART THAT FUMES ME ABOUT THAT IS THE FACT THAT HE WAS ABLE TO MAKE THE HEADLINE AND IT SAYS ALMOST NOTHING ABOUT ME TAKING DOWN THE NOMU! ALL IT SAYS IS HOW THE HERO KILLER WAS STOPPED BY THE SON OF THE RYUGU KINGDOM AND IS A POSITIVE OUTCOME FOR EVERYONE! HE'S STILL A NOBODY AND YET HE'S ABLE TO GET THE FRONT PAGE! HE'S ALMOST AS USELESS AS OUR SIX FEET UNDER OLD MAN!"

Hearing this, Bakugou got up to walk over and place the urn in his bag. 'She won't bother even speaking kindly of her father?' "Alright. I gotta get going. Jeanist is giving me a fucking attitude of punctuality, so I need to make sure I'm ready."

"Whatever." The call ended with Bakugou staring at his phone and the urn.

"Care to tell me why you have an urn for cremation with you?" Bakugou looked to his side to notice Best Jeanist leaning on the doorframe.

"It's a long story. Not worth getting into without understanding the baggage."

"Fair enough. Let's get a move on. We will be going on patrol starting first."

"Yeah yeah." Zipping up the bag, Bakugou took one last glance at the urn holding some regret. 'Maybe I should have Deku decide what to do with him. Getting shoved off a cliff isn't the best course of action.'

And that finishes this chapter. See what happens next time with Bakugou speaking with Izuku over the urn. Hope you all enjoyed and thanks for reading.
