Knuckles faced Sonic in his gaze...there was a silent moment for 6 seconds until Sonic broke it and said, is there something you wanted to tell me Knuckles? Knuckles nodded and blushed at the same time... Knuckles said, Sonic....I know I never said this really much because...I was really shy....& now the time has come to tell you....Sonic ever since you and I have met....it was like faith had brought us together....you have been the best thing that's ever happened to me....despite what people think of me you always ha my back.....*he hesitates and gathered up all his courage*...I JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU THAT I LOVE YOU SONIC!!! Sonic blushed as the red echidna cried and hugged him..... Knuckles felt like he didn't wanna let go but when he sees Sonics face he was embarrassed..... Sonic said with a blush, Knuckles do you really mean it...*Knuckles nodded and Sonic gave him a small smile*...oh Knuckles I'm so happy because I love you too....and I'm gonna miss you so much.... Knuckles replied, oh Sonic I'm gonna miss you so very much too.... then they kissed each other on the lips for a full minute before Sonic can gaze into his eyes..... Sonic thought, maybe I should give it to him after all.... the blue hedgehog pulled out a reddish-blue crystal necklace and placed it on Knuckles neck and said, this is something to remember me by....since I was too nervous to give it to you... Knuckles said as he smiled, thank you Sonic....I promise I won't forget you as long as I wear it..... Sonic replied with a smile, thank you for saying that Knuckles....because I won't forget you either.....*Knuckles smiled and cried at the same time*...one day I'll visit you at Angel island until then....I'll always think of you....*Sonic smiled as he walked off*...thank you for everything Knuckles the echidna.... Knuckles watched Sonic go towards his brother who was smiling... he watched the two laughing and walking until they were nowhere in sight... Knuckles said, goodbye my love....I won't forget you...Sonic the hedgehog.... he stood up and said to himself, looks like its my time to back home.... Tails said, but Knuckles you don't have a home.... Boomer said, uhh...that's not what he meant Tails.... Tails eyes widened and said, your leaving too Knuckles? The red echidna said as he nodded, yeah since there's nothing left for me here it's time to head back to Angel island where I belong... Knuckles walked away to the direction Sonic went but this time it was him that was going home.
