This is Shimmer. Shimmer the Hedgehog. Her picture is down below as well. I hand-drew this in my Sketchbook instead of doing it on the computer. The quality isn't great, but oh well. I'll draw a new picture soon.

Shimmer is the twin sister of Flame. She is a lavender-furred hedgehog with long, pink-colored hair. Her hair has two different shades of pink. She has emerald green eyes like Sonic. Around the outside of her eyes is a pink-purple border.

Shimmer is not like Flame. In fact, you could say she is an exact OPPOSITE. Shimmer is shy, and she does not really talk that much when she is alone with others. However, when she is with Flame, you can bet to hear her voice ring out through the crowd. She really only feels safe around her twin sister. She likes to relax when she gets the chance to, and, unlike her sister, doesn't literally go head-first into adventure. In fact, she doesn't go head-first into adventure at all, even figuratively! If she is seen out and out of her comfort zone, it is probably because her adventurous sister dragged her international whatever crazy adventure she was going on. She enjoys video games and drawing as well, but sometimes feels intimidated by her twin's talent.

Shimmer never was shy to begin with. Like Flame, she was left alone by her parents due to extenuating circumstances. For 5 years, she wandered alone, not even knowing her sister existed. When she was 5, a friendly group of wandering Mobians adopted her into their loving town. She lived in safety with her new friends for many years. However, that changed when she was 12. She was wandering through the forest when she came across a river. She wanted a drink, so she stopped and took a sip from the river. She barely made it back to the little town. Her best friend, Maya (more on her soon), spotted her sick in the grass on the outskirts of the town and got her medical attention. Shimmer barely survived (what's with me and these dark back stories?). She slowly recovered and was soon back to her normal self, although she did become more cautious of the world around her (her friends believe she got chemical poisoning, but to this day, no one knows what was in the water). When Eggman briefly attacked her home (but ultimately failed), she helped to fend him off. She got caught briefly, but she was later freed. Because of this, however, she never set foot in the hero business again. When she was 17, she finally met her sister, and nothing was ever the same. She now stays by her sister's side, no matter where she goes. She hasn't found her perfect mate yet, but she shouldn't have trouble in the future. Her sister is bound to make it happen.
