Chapter 39:

Neil get ready then he went to the bed and Neil picks the jug and glass from the side table and and walks by pouring the water in the glass and it falls on the floor.

Neil: oh shit.

Neil went to the table and keep the jug and drink water and came to sit on the bed where the falls water he was wearing his shows then avni came back by drying her hairs she saw Neil is wearing the shoes he look at her and smiles she smiles too then she hears the ring of her phone which was kept near Neil he picks the phone and gave that to her she came to take the phone and slips because of the water she fall over him and they fall on the bed Neil open his eyes and saw her he takes her hairs a side which were blocking his view he smiles to see her closed eyes she open her eyes and look at him their eyelock they were lost in each other eyes Neil look at her lips then into her eyes he came close to her she turn her face and get up they were feeling awkward and look here and there avni wipes her upper lips and Neil rubs his nose and head.

Avni: I I i am I am sorry.

Neil: it's ok It was my mistake the water fell from me and you slipped.

Avni looks at him then looks away she picks her phone and went to talk Neil smiles.

Then they went to the dinning area.

Avneil: good morning.

All: good morning.

They sits and all were having the breakfast.

Bebe: so avni today you will make lunch I hope you know about this tradition I know you cooked the kheer that day but cat ate that.

Avni nods then Shweta and avni look at each other and Shweta smiles avni suppress her lips Neil look at them and look down.

Flashback:

At second day of avneil wedding avni cooked the kheer.

Shweta: now I am going to call bebe and wake up prakash ji.

Avni: mummy ji you go to wake up papa ji I will call bebe.

Shweta: ok.

Neil hides and they went then Neil came in the kitchen he love kheer he saw the bowl and picks the spoon and start eating it he likes it.

Neil: wow wifey's hands are magical I love it.

Neil was eating then avni came there and saw him she was surprised and smiles to see him she hide her smile then Shweta came there.

Shweta: avni you.

Neil turns Shweta saw him and widen her eyes.

Shweta: tillluuu?

Neil thinks and look at them and smiles nervously Shweta came to him.

Neil: mom I I was just tasting.

Shweta: yaa.

She takes the bowl from him.

Shweta: see avni he was just tasting and he ate the half bowl just in tasting.

Avni and Shweta look at eachother and laughs Neil admires avni.

Neil: mom you know I love kheer.

Shweta: yaa yaa I know you love kheer but today you was so desperate to eat because your wife cooked it right.

Neil: n no mom it's not like this.

Shweta: oye don't lie I saw you standing at the door and you hide when we were going and after us you came as a thief and ate the kheer right.

Neil looks down and rub his neck he was feeling shy.

Shweta: say now?

Neil: mo mom i have to make an important phone call so I am going.

Neil quickly went avni smiles to see him Shweta laughs.

Flashback ends.

Neil was feeling embarrassed and avni was hiding her smile shweta was enjoying their situation.

Bebe: what happened why you all are not eating. eat.

Neil nods and they had the breakfast and went to the room.

Neil: you was smiling at me.

Avni smiles and shook her head.

Neil: I saw you ok.

She look at him they smiles.

At afternoon avni was preparing the lunch for all and Neil peeps from the door and smiles to see her she was making the meal and  by mistake her hand hit with the pan and it burnt.

Avni: ouch.

Neil saw that.

Neil: avni.

Avni look at him he came to her he hold her hand avni was looking at him Neil wince.

Neil: where was your mind come sit here.

He took her to the table and made her sit on the chair she was blowing her hand he went to the fridge and take the ice cube and came to her he apply it at her hand avni wince Neil look at her and blows at her hand she look at him and was staring him a tear drop at his hand he look at his hand then at her hand she take her hand back Neil look at her and it hurts him.

Neil: it's paining?

Avni wipes her tears and shook her head.

Neil: don't worry I will apply ointment you will feel better.

Avni: no I have to prepare meal.

Neil: I will do that you just sit here.

Avni: you know cooking?

Neil: yaa actually when i was in London I cooked food and before going I learn cooking from mom so I know how to cook.

Avni: oh.

Neil: yaa and we are one so I prepare the food or you what's the difference.

Avni was looking at him he smiles.

Neil: so first let me apply ointment then I will cook food.

Avni: don't worry I will apply it myself.

Neil: ok.

Neil knew why she is saying this he went and took the ointment from the cabinet and gave her she look at him then she looks down after that Neil prepare the meal and avni was looking at him.

Later avni was standing and all taste the food Neil eats and likes it.

Bebe: hmm it's tasty what say Neil?

Neil smiles.

Neil: yes bebe.

Bebe: what yes bebe admire her.

Neil look at avni she look down.

Neil: bebe now what I say see my plate is saying itself it is over floating I don't have words to admire her.

Shweta: oh like that.

She give him a teasing look Neil smiles by looking down.

Bebe: avni sit have lunch with us.

Avni nods and sit with Neil all had the lunch then bebe went avni and Neil look at eachother bebe never went like that Neil blink his eyes to assure her then bebe came with a jewellery box All stand up bebe gave the set to her.

Bebe: this is for you.

Avni: no bebe how will I?

Bebe: avni it is your gift today you cooked food first time for us so this is your neg take it.

Avni look at neil he nods avni takes that then prakash gives her money.

Prakash: this is from me for delicious food.

Avni takes that.

Bebe: yes prakash you said right otherwise I got bored by eating the food of Shweta's hand.

All smiles.

Shweta: bebeee.

Bebe: Shwetaaa.

All smiles Shweta makes a face and smiles at night avni was waiting for Neil she knew she hurted him at the afternoon Neil came he smiles to see her and was going to the cupboard.

Avni: ne Neil.

He turns to her.

Neil: yaa.

Avni looks down and was rubbing her hands she was nervous she came came to him.

Neil: what happened?

Avni: aa aa.

Neil: if you want to say thank you then no need.

Avni: I know but I want to say I we I mean.

Neil was looking at her avni forward her hand.

Avni: friends?

Neil look at her hand then at her he smiles and shake hand with her.

Neil: friends.

He notice that she is still not comfortable but she is doing this to make him feel good because he did alot for her Neil leave her hand.

Neil: now we are friends so don't hesitate to say anything to me hmm.

Avni smiles Neil too and sighs.

Neil in mind: today we become friends I hope soon everything will become normal between us.

Neil smiles.
