[ JK's POV ]

Just yesterday, Jungkook thought, that everything he feared the most wasn't so scary after all. His life, however controlled and caged, was nevertheless manageable outside this system. The beginning was rough and he almost lost you, but with the stubbornness of a geek, working hard on your relationship, he managed to build something. It seemed to him, that the hardest period was behind you - he finally revealed the truth about himself, what could be more difficult?
He was glad, that he could live a normal life, like an ordinary boy, have a girlfriend and take her on a date, meet with everyone and even go to her brother's wedding. He even made a friend - outside of his industry. He had everything he wanted. Everything was so beautiful. He was savouring every moment.

But that was until reality caught up with him again. Yes, he could escape for a while, let himself be carefree and blindly believe that he had managed to beat the system. But it's not like that, he just put you in a soap bubble for a while, and today it burst.

When your phones rang at the same time, it was hardly a coincidence. He reached for his device in a split second.
Taehyung.
"Yes, hyung?" he asked, praying deep down inside that it was just some bullshit.
But unfortunately it wasn't. Though, of course, it could have been much worse.

"Jungkook-ah, did you have fun at the wedding yesterday?" Tae tried to keep a calm tone so as not to upset his friend as much as possible. JK even gave in to this delusion for a moment.
"Yes, we had a great time. It went even better than I expected." He glanced at you, you were just answering your phone, walking out of the room a few steps. "Something happened?" he asked, turning his attention to the conversation.
"Just don't get nervous... basically it's..."

[ Your POV ]

You answered the phone. Sang-hee was calling furiously. You hoped it wasn't anything serious. Just before you put the phone to your ear, you looked at Kook. Something must have happened. He was clearly worried and his jaw was clenched tight.

You answered the call with a trembling voice.
"Y...yes Sang-hee?"

"Jeez! YN! You've finally deigned to pick up the phone" she screamed on the other end until you had to move the device away from your ear a little. "Did you see the news?" she asked without beating around the bush.

"I didn't see, I just woke up..." you mumbled. But she didn't change her tone for a moment. Did something really happen?
"You're kidding, right? Turn on the TV. Now."
You had enough of the stress she was causing you.
"Just cut the bullshit and finally tell me what's wrong, Sang-hee!"

"The news channels are filled with only one message, repeated over and over again like a mantra: BTS' Jungkook is dating someone!" After all, she told you about the highlight of the day. "Of course, there are also pictures of you. Thank goodness none of them show your face. Thank your leech for that, which just happened to be sucking your lips, hiding you with his own face."

You gulped loudly, feeling a little weak. If she'd told you everyone knew what you looked like, you'd be on the floor by now. Fortunately, it wasn't that bad. Even though you knew it would be a much less comfortable situation for him than it was for you. You looked at Kook. He must have known too. He was sitting on the edge of the bed, head bowed, rubbing his temples. Poor guy, he must have been wondering how to fix everything. You ended the call almost immediately.

You walked over to him and sat down quietly. You didn't want to disturb him, you didn't know how angry he was either. But he raised his head and looked at you warmly. So you dared to speak up.
"What are we going to do now, Koo? I've only brought you problems." Tears streamed down your cheeks as you realized that you invited him to the wedding, that it was all your fault. "I'm sorry, Kookie. I feel so stupid right now."

But he wasn't angry. He smiled gently, wiping the tears from your face with his thumb.
"But you are my sweet problem."

In truth, he didn't care about any more gossip. He was glad your face wasn't recognized. But there was something that was bothering him. Such an internal cry that made him understand, that he must hurry up with some decision, with some solution, because it will end badly for you. Eventually, someone will put the facts together, and then you will really face serious consequences.

His reassuring tone made you feel like everything was going to be okay. His acting was top notch, you believed he didn't really care about this situation. Or at least not that much. Your heart was now at ease.
He hugged you gently. You rested your head on his chest and he stroked your hair for a moment.
"I'll take care of everything. Don't worry about anything. Stay home today, maybe Sang-hee can visit you so you won't be alone?"

But it was you who decided to visit your friend instead. As soon as you left the house, Kook was finally able to throw off his mask and not hide his worried face anymore. He got himself together as quickly as he could and went to Hybe to find out more.

[ JK's POV ]

"Did you see the news?" he asked bluntly as everyone was sitting in the living room.
"These photos are just pure speculation. Such photos have been circling around for years!!! But always, absolutely always, they were intercepted before they went anywhere further! But this time it's different. This time seems like everything is confirmed. This time they are sure about source. I ask HOW?" His nervous tone of voice made all six of them dare not approach the matter with laughter. Everyone took on a serious expression. And Jungkook was gesticulating nervously as he spoke.

"You know very well, that the media always confirms everything with our agency first. That would have to mean, that someone from here gave them such information. Let's be serious Kookie, no one gave them such information" Jin tried to reason with him, maybe a little calm him down. But that had no effect. Jungkook was still furious. He just looked at Jimin.

"Well, we happen to have a person who would be more than happy to do it." He furiously pointed his finger at Jimin.

And Jimin just laughed out loud without even looking at him. It was such a mocking laugh, the sound was buzzing in Jungkook's ears, he felt such reluctance at the moment that he hadn't felt in so many years.
"So you just assumed, it was my fault?" Jimin asked bitterly, finally shifting his gaze to Kook. He couldn't understand how he could lie so straight to his face, how he could play such a two-faced game. So what else has he planned and what is the purpose of it?

Jimin seemed to like getting on his nerves. He made a finger gesture around his temple, insinuating that Koo is not in his right mind. Looking at Jungkook now... he looked a bit unstable, but he must have been sure since he was so into him.

Joon watched them from the side. The whole situation didn't sit well with him. Each such situation, when something uncomfortable leaked to the media, was a nuisance for him. He sighed loudly.
"And so you know, I will have to cover it somehow, like always." he began, "But I guess, it would be best, if you wouldn't see each other for a while, JK. At least outside."

Kook's worst fears just awoken But luckily, before he completely broke down about it, Hobi interjected, addressing the leader directly.
"Namjoon, why do you always run from the problems, instead of solving them?" he asked, surprised by his friend's approach.

Namjoon got a little frustrated. "If you think you know better, you can stand in my place and try to deal with this all." He replied in anger.

But he didn't have a chance to continue the conversation, because Jungkook suddenly got up from the sofa and looked at everyone. He seemed to have made a decision. Joon looked at him with some apprehension, because it didn't bode well, and the last thing they needed right now was more trouble.
"I have enough of hiding everything." JK said in a calm, determined tone. "I will confirm my relationship."

Hobi nudged him on the arm, laughing a bit. "You know...JaaaayKaaay, I am always on your side."
Kook smiled kindly at him.
"No matter what?"

Hobi stared at his younger friend for a moment. In this very moment neither of them could have known, but destiny had just created another possibility, one that neither of them would ever have dared to even think about.

"No matter what, JK. I will support you whole my life."

[ Your POV ]

Sitting with Sang-hee, you somehow couldn't calm down. Something was bothering you. You didn't know how exactly photos reached media, but you remembered Jimin's threats, which he muttered under his breath as he left the wedding. But would he be able to somewhat harm the entire team just to achieve something?
You had to check it out, you knew it wouldn't let you rest.
You sent him a message.

"It was you, wasn't it?"

And he proudly admitted it.

If there was any sense left in you, it vanished into thin air at that moment. He was asking for a lesson, and you were going to give it to him. You had to vent your frustration on something. When you connected the dots, you actually came up with a pretty crazy plan. Sang-hee joined in, amused by your wild side. She didn't ask if you'd regret it, maybe if she would, things would be different?

You had to wait two days for the opportunity to arise. But in the end, fate smiled on you.
That evening, half of the Bangtans, including Jimin, showed up at Kook's place.
Dinner, game party and lots of alcohol. Perfect opportunity. Kook drove everyone home, and there were two cars parked under your building - Jimin's and Tae's, because they couldn't drive such drunk. This was the only such a chance - you thought as you called Sang-hee. You didn't hesitate even for a moment.

You decided to use Jimin's car to vent your frustration.

You started quite innocently, tearing off the mirrors on both sides. The alarm went off. You didn't want to draw so much attention to yourself, although you probably would have explained your clownish idea to security somehow. After all, they knew who lived here and they knew you could afford such weird activities.

Together with Sang-hee, you broke all the windows, scratched the paint and dented the hood as much as possible. You even climbed onto the roof of the car jumping around like a little monkey. Yes, it definitely helped you. You've outdone yourself. And the car? It looked like after an apocalypse. You sat down on the roof exhausted, and Sang-hee leaned against the hood.
"He'll kill us, won't he?" she asked, laughing under her breath.
And you shrugged.

"It's too late to think about it now anyway. You wanted fun Park Jimin? You'll have it." You muttered more to yourself, jumped out of the car and turned towards the gate to the estate. You stood face to face with the bodyguard and... Jungkook.

You smiled sheepishly, making a lemur face. Jungkook burst out laughing uncontrollably, and the bodyguard didn't know what he should do now.
JK tried to calm down a bit. "Don't worry, I'll take care of everything." he said to the poor shocked man, then dragged you home, turning only for a moment to Sang-hee. "Wait here a minute, I'll drive you right back." But she started waving her hands in a hurry. "No, no, what are you, I... I already booked an Uber," she pointed to her phone. She knew you were fucked, and she chose to flee the scene of the crime.
"Traitor" you mouthed to her while being dragged by Kook to the home.

"You are impossible." he finally said as you both entered the elevator. "You do realize this is Jimin's favourite car?"
You made big eyes.
"Ah, so he has more? One less won't hurt him. And I was already worried, I see...no reason for that then."
The elevator doors opened. You went to your floor together.
"I'd invite you over Koo, but today I'm in a destructive mood and..." you gulped as you looked at him. "...and you should stay in one piece."

He laughed out loud. You tried to play someone you're not. And he was well aware of this. He walked over to you, placed his hand on the back of your neck, and pulled you to him in one forceful motion. You gasped under the influence of a sudden sensation.

"You're my little lamb, no matter how hard you try, you won't become a wolf." He kissed you softly and released his grip.
"Good night baby."
"Good night Koo..." you mumbled annoyed that he knocked you off your feet so easily.

[ Author's POV ]

At HYBE - next day

"Wow, Jimin...your car looks like a wreck...what happened?" Tae was shocked looking at the photos on Jimin's phone, which he was showing to everyone in despair. He's been walking like a ticking time bomb since morning. His beloved Panamera looked like a roller had run over it. Jimin collapsed on the pillows in their HYBE's shared living room. He had the expression of a beaten dog.

Jungkook stood in the corner, seemingly lost in thought. But he snapped out of this state pretty quickly, and for a moment he looked as if he wasn't sure if he should speak. He played with the ring in his lip and looked at everyone in turn. Finally, he took one deep breath and spoke.
"My girl did that."

Jimin's eyes widened to the limit. He got up off the pillows instantly. "Are you fucking kidding me?"

Everyone was shocked. It was easy to read from their expressions. Literally every one of them either had their mouths open in surprise or their eyes were filled with amazement. But soon after that, the first mischievous smirks appeared. The fun was just beginning.

"She is feisty." Namjoon finally smirked, even admiring you a bit. He didn't expect you to be capable of something like this. Maybe he underestimated you a little. Jin was staring in disbelief.

Yoongi was already croaking like a frog. "I like this girl. I really do. I'm glad you're with her, Kook. She brings us a breath of fresh air."

Jimin couldn't believe what was happening around him. His car was suitable for scrap, he didn't know where to start first, and instead of feeling sorry for him, they were talking about how cool you are...
"I just wanted to have some fun, I didn't expect she will go that crazy." He mumbled angrily, his eyes focused on Namjoon, which didn't go unnoticed by Kook. What did Joon have to do with all of this?

Hobi revelled in the situation. He was infecting everyone with his loud laugh. Nothing like this had happened here in a long time, and he was going to take advantage of this moment of madness.

Kook turned to Jimin. "You could have just left us alone. But I don't know why something got into you. You brought it on yourself." He shrugged. He didn't care too much about the damage.

"Jungkook-ah, you've gotten mean lately" Joon pointed at him. Kook chuckled under his breath.

"Protective." Yoongi corrected Namjoon by joining the discussion.

"Totally blind in love. But I get it. She's really beautiful." Jin added in a calm voice, spreading out comfortably on the sofa.

Jungkook seemed to ignore the discussion around him. His eyes were focused only on Jimin.
"Just don't piss us off anymore and you'll be fine." He said harshly.
The rest sat there in shock. His tone was devoid of any respect. They weren't used to it. Their mouths dropped open in surprise - even Joon's.

"Yaaah! Take it easy, Jungkookie. I think you are going little too far." Jin tried to calm him down a bit.

In the meantime, Tae interjected, he, from the beginning of the discussion, was apparently immersed in his own thoughts, which, as you could see, finally decided to share in the group.
"But..." he started, amused "how did she manage to destroy it such much? I think someone had to help her." Everyone paid attention to him.

Min Yoongi was the first to make jokes. He swung both hands as if he had a murder weapon in his hand.
"She just took a baseball bat... and wooooooop!" made a move like hitting with one. It was just his little staging, oh he didn't know he was right.

Everyone started laughing except Jimin, who was howling like a baby.
"Yaaaaaah! My precious Panamera! My baby, my car, my only one!" he shouted across the room.

"Just smashed." Yoongi finished his scene, laughing out loud. Hobi was long gone, rolling on the floor, dying with laughter, holding his stomach, or slapping his hands on the floor, unable to hold back his tears. Yoongi seeing him in such a state cracked himself, joining this hysteria.

Even Jimin himself finally laughed.
Everything seemed to calm down. The storm was gone.

But these were, unfortunately, only appearances. It was his very good play, that everyone was supposed to believe in. Well, except maybe Namjoon, who knew more than you might think. Jimin held a grudge, and he was going to get back at you. Very soon.

So as soon as he got back to his room - he immediately started putting his plan into action. He texted you:

"How are you going to pay for this damage?

I guess you cannot afford it. Unless...you want to use Jungkook?"

***

You just parked outside the society. You reached for your bag when your phone vibrated. Jimin. You winced at the sender. "What this time?" You muttered under your breath, dissatisfied. But as you read the message your eyes got bigger and bigger.
You knew you were in trouble. You rested your head on the steering wheel and sighed.
In a fit of anger, you blew everything up without thinking about the consequences or caring too much about what his reaction might be. You just wanted to repay him for his behavior. But didn't you overdo it?

"I've crossed the line" you whined to yourself, banging your head slightly to the steering wheel. "Kook can't suffer because of my lack of responsibility."
You texted Jimin, you knew you had to solve it anyway.

"What do you suggest?"

The answer came almost immediately, as if he was just waiting for you to text him. Or was he? It scared you even more. If that's the case, then he was well aware, that he's got you in his pocket. You didn't like that grasp. You had to get out of this shitty situation somehow. You read his message with some apprehension:

"Let's meet and talk."

"What I got myself into..." you muttered under your breath. And as you pressed the door handle to get out of the car, your phone vibrated again.

"And not a single word to Jungkook."

You were fucked. And you got yourself into it.

[ Jimin's POV ]

He had been brainstorming since morning. He checked his phone, but there was no new message. Even though he sent you the date, time and address of his apartment. In fact, he was more than sure you wouldn't show up. He even doubted whether he should play you like this. But he didn't have time to think about it.
The knock on the door startled him. Have you decided to come though? What was he supposed to do now? Maybe it's better to back out while he still can? He wasn't sure he wanted to go any further than that.
One deep breath and he opened the door.

He saw you in the doorway. You looked tired. Maybe you haven't even slept. Guilt hit him immediately.
Why did I send these messages... he thought frantically.
"I didn't think you would come..." he said softly, inviting you inside.

You entered carefully.
"It's not like I had any choice."

Jimin knew you were terribly uncomfortable. He wondered how he could turn things the other way, how he could extricate himself from what he was about to do.
"I didn't ask you to destroy my car." He chuckled softly, hoping to lighten the atmosphere a bit. But you didn't give him even the slightest smile. You sat down on the sofa he pointed out to you and waited for him to tell you what he really wants. It wasn't supposed to be like this, your conversation shouldn't be that uncomfortable. Everything went the other way. fuck - he thought.

You stared at him with those big eyes of yours. He saw you trying to read him like an open book, surprised that his behavior suddenly seemed so contradictory. He tried his best to avoid your gaze. He was confused. Although he didn't know that in your eyes he looked like an innocent boy who was acting like he was just stressed out. You didn't take your eyes off him, he could feel this gaze, a burning stare that had no mercy.

"You provoked me, you could've expected, you will make me angry eventually."
Hearing the indifferent tone of your voice, he decided he had to deal with it somehow. He brushed back his hair, which was annoyingly falling over his eyes, and finally looked at you. He smiled, trying to calm you down a bit.

"So...let's talk it through." he said softly.

You snorted. He was waiting for your answer now. He knew he had to be careful. He was playing a dangerous game and he didn't know which side he was on yet. So he just wanted to play it neutral for now.

"Let me guess, you will ask me for something inappropriate, or something that will endanger my relationship with Kook." You said exactly what you meant.

Jimin laughed.
"Oh come on! Do you really think so? Trust me, YN, it's not me, whom you should be afraid of. I simply wanted to have some fun."

You looked at him surprised. He just realized he'd said too much.

"What does it mean? Is there someone I should be afraid of, Jimin?"

His breathing quickened. He had to get out of this discussion as soon as possible.
"It's not a time, nor the place to talk about this." He shrugged, which only made your face even more worried.
He was clearly stressed.

You wanted to ask for more details, but he cut you off.
"Let's forget about this damage." He gave you a gentle smile, you watched him, tried to read his emotions but he hid them well. "As a payment...I will take one favor from you."

"Which favor?" you asked him right away. He laughed softly. You were so careful. But he couldn't blame you. He watched your body language, it was so tense. And he really... didn't want you to feel that way around him. He was furious, yes. But now...now he didn't want to play this game anymore. He was going to give up everything, win back your trust. But can he get away with it so easily? He stare at you for a moment.

"I don't know yet. Once I will need you help - I will remind you about this." He finally made it clear, but it didn't bring relief to you.
"Do we have a deal?" he asked, extending his hand towards you.

"But..." you started hesitantly

"No worries. I won't ask for anything what can cause trouble. I promise. So...do we have that deal?" he asked again after assuring you that he had no ill intentions.

[ Your POV ]

You couldn't read him today. On the one hand, you knew he was playing some kind of game with you. But, on the other hand, Jimin seemed like a completely different person today. You didn't know what had changed and how much you could trust his words.
He assured you, that there was nothing to worry about and that he meant no harm, but isn't that how predators behave? Deceiving us, driving us right into their trap? But did you have any choice? Could you have chosen another option? You sighed loudly knowing that this time you would be at his mercy. You had to trust him, you just hoped he won't disappoint you.

"But Jungkook won't find out about it..." you made an additional condition at the last moment.

Jimin nodded his head in approval immediately.
You took two deep breaths and shook his hand, sealing your deal.
"Done."

At the very same moment the door swung open revealing Jungkook in the doorway. He stood there surprised and a little sad, staring unblinkingly at your clamped hands.

"What's this?" He looked at Jimin, then at you. His gaze pierced right through you. You instantly regretted your decision.

"What did you do, baby?"
