It was Emma's birthday party that did it.

It was a sleepover, but I couldn't stay the night. It was a beautiful day, too. At first, everything was great! We played games, ate some dinner. It was really fun. There was Eve, Greta, Enna, Rin, and Nina.

I remember sitting in a chair in Emma's room, and Eve and Greta were sitting up on this reading balcony Emma has. I asked them what they were doing, and they showed me this stupid video gaming dating game. 

Now, before we go any farther, you have to understand a few things.

In fifth grade, we had to take that health class, correct? The teacher was talking about how we shouldn't hang around people who talk about sex, which I see as ok advice. And then she said, "I mean, think about a juicy, delicious mango. You weren't thinking about them before I talked about them" 

Ok, Now back to the story. I asked them what they did in this game, and they were like "We go on dates, kiss and-" And then they laughed. "Mangos"

I was startled. I have to admit, It was shocking.

Later that night, Rin was playing this game where she had a boyfriend, right? And this was in real life. She asked someone to be the boy, and I said ok.

When we were eating cake, then began talking.

"Why did Sparrow volunteer to be the boy?" They kept asking, and I finally said,

"I like girls sometimes." And then the chaos broke. Eve was mad at me. She was all like, "You do know thats a sin, right!???" And Greta was with her. Rin was standing up for me, saying that it was all ok. Emma was just trying to keep the peace.

Nina, who I didn't know from school, took me on a long walk. I figured out she was Lesbian, and we talked for a while about it.

I never told my parents, but this was one of the reasons I quit Spanish Immersion.
