I have been one aquainted with a heartbreak.
I have seen it every where, and all the time.
I have felt it in me since he left.

I have missed those happy times.
I have lived in the dark shadows, for a long time now.
And have had to worry a lot about my own heart.

I have lost myself and found myself.
But this hurt just doesn't seem to go away.
All this feeling of being lost has found it's way to my head.

But not to return my heart.
As it continues to leave me numb,
A boy passes by and stares at me.

Proclaiming that he like me was lost, but never found.
I have been one aquainted by a heartbreak.
