I would like to thank you for all you've done, the show "Steven Universe" and the much more you've done to impact the world as a whole helping the LGBTQ community, impacting the artistic community and the music community with your amazing show. My first experience with Steven Universe was "Story for Steven" I originally avoided the show thinking it was another Uncle Grandpa, but that one episode impressed me so much I watched all 50 episodes in two days, let's just say "Like a comet" was so good that I had it on my playlist that day, the art was so nice especially during Greg and Rose's dance scene that I was awestruck by it, you the Crewniverse have restored my faith in children's animation and have even made me a avid fan of various other shows like Gravity Falls, I showed my sister Steven Universe and even she was pleasantly surprised by it's quality we proceeded to watch the show together and bonded more as brother and sister debating our theories and making some of our own OC's, while cracking many jokes. I feel I must apologize to Lauren Zuke for the community backlash you got on Twitter so long ago that drove you from the social platform unfortunately some parts of the community are overzealous and wish to strong-arm the Staff into creating something they want, I wish you wouldn't have left Zuke you let them get to you and in turn gave them power over you, this power is something they will use to exploit or destroy your artistic vision I know it's hard Zuke but you must take a stand and ignore all this hate if not for yourself for the thousands of people who suffer the same type of bullying, I as a writer understand this mindset, but I have respect for the creators and their vision, in the end it's their story they can do what they want with it, this is the reason for fanfiction people, we can always change something we don't like, but it's not canon I hear some of you whine but who can say what is canon and what's not it's all based on what you see as reality, now I wish you all the best Lauren, you too Crewniverse staff.
