Y/N: Hey Yang how's it going girl. *Sighs* No I sound ridiculous she'll think I'm a loser. *Clears throat* Um hey Yang. I... I just wanted to talk to you please. Oh gosh no that sounds desperate.

Nora: Hiya!

Y/N screams a little and jumps back.

Y/N: Where did you come from!

Nora: We're neighbors which means are windows are right next to each other.

Y/N: You shimmed your way here out the window?

Nora: Yup sounds about right.

Y/N: I honestly shouldn't be surprised.

Nora: You know you don't have to change who you are to get a girls heart.

Y/N then looks at Nora who is looking down at the ground then looks up and smiles at Y/N.

Nora: Just be yourself Y/N. That's how you earn it. A true girl likes it when a guy acts like himself. I mean Pyrrha and Jaune are a pretty good example.

Y/N smiles.

Y/N: Right.

Nora: Alright I'll head out.

Nora walks towards the door but then stops and looks at Y/N.

Nora opens the door and leaves.

Hours later they were on the airship heading towards the schnee company lab and through out the trip he would look at Yang trying to figure out how to talk to her.

The ship finally lands and they all begin to walk out and Y/N is amazed by how huge the building is.

Y/N: Whoa. It's amazing how huge it is. (But the man in charge of this building isn't someone I would like to talk to)

Oobleck: Alright everyone fallow me.

They all start to fallow Oobleck who headed towards the building.

Mini time skip they were on the spider tour telling them all about the different spiders they had Y/N gasped at what he saw.

Y/N: Whoa look at that. It's the most advanced microscopic on east seaboard. It's so unreal.

Jaune: Y/N are you sure your not into science a lot. Cause that sounds like something a scientist would say.

Y/N: *Chuckles nervously* Yeah.

Scientist 1: There are over 32000 Spider's in the world. They're in order aranae which are divided into three subgroups. Arachnids from all three groups possess varying strengths which help them in their constant search for food. For example the delena spider family sparassidae has the ability to jump to catch it's prey.

In a container they see the spider jump on another branch.

Scientist: This grass spider hunts by using a set of reflex's with nerve conduction velocity so fast that some researchers believe it almost borders on precognition. As they continue the tour Y/N sees Yang is all alone Y/N takes a deep breath.

Y/N: (Ok Y/N you can do this.)

He then walks towards Yang who was staring at the different spiders contained in small little boxes.

Y/N: Hello.

Yang looks at the direction of the voice and sees Y/N.

Yang: Oh hello again.

Y/N: I never expected you to be the person to you know.

Yang: Yeah well I wanted to try something new.

Y/N: That's cool. I wanted to thank you for helping me with Cardin.

Yang: Oh no problem.

Yang continued to stare at the contained spider's.

Yang: So what do think of spiders?

Y/N: Oh I think there really cool.

Y/N eyes widened realizing what he said.

Y/N: (Oh crap why did I say that?! Now she's going to think I'm some weirdo!)

Yang: Cool I like them too.

Y/N eyes widened again out of shocked.

Y/N: You... You do?

Yang: Yeah they might be creepy looking but I think there cool.

Y/N sighs of relief.

Y/N: Yeah. Some spider's change there color to adapt to there environment. It's a defense mechanism.

Yang: Wow really?

Y/N: Yeah. It's amazing how spiders are able to adapt to there environment. Such as the net casting Spider. There able to well make well a net with there webs and drop down on there prey and capture it. There just a fascinating species and—

Y/N realized that he was doing his usual geek rambles he then scratched the back of his head.

Y/N: Oh sorry. I was doing my lame geek thing.

Yang: No don't apologize. I think geeks are cool.

Y/N: Really?!

Yang: Yeah. There's nothing wrong with having so much knowledge in that brain of yours.

She then pats Y/N head.

Y/N: So you don't think I'm a huge geek lord loser.

Yang: Nope. Not at all.

???: Well I have to say I'm very impressed.

They both turn at the direction and sees Jacques Schnee who has a smile on his face and he walks towards Y/N.

Jacques: You have quite good knowledge of these spiders. What's your name son.

Y/N: Y/N Goodwitch.

Yang: (So that's his name.)

Jacques: You know this lab could use more people like you. Tell you what. How would you like to work with for this lab. You'll be payed handsomely.

Jacques continued talking but nobody realized that one of the scientists left a container open and a spider began to crawl out of it and walked down a pipe and walked towards towards Y/N leg.

Y/N: Hmm. I appreciate the offer but I have to say no.

Jacques: Are you sure?

Y/N: Yeah I'm pretty sure besides I'm still attending beacon academy.

Jacques: Alright then. But remember that my offer is and will always be up if you change your mind.

Jacques then walks off.

Yang: Wow how come you didn't accept it? He could have given you a lot of money.

Y/N: And work with the man who discriminates against the Faunus and enslaves them. No thanks.

Yang smiles at this.

Yang: Ruby wasn't kidding when she said you were a cool person.

Y/N: Ruby said that?

Yang: Yeah. Tell you what let's exchange numbers.

Y/N: Oh alright. (Oh my gosh is this really happening!)

They then exchanged each other's numbers.

Yang: Now we can keep in contact with each other. I really enjoyed talking to you. See you around tiger.

Yang then walks off.

Y/N: Yeah same here.

Y/N then pumps his fist in the air.

Y/N: Yes!

But then the spider was on his and it leaned up and bit his hand making Y/N grunt in pain and slapped his hand he looks down to see a spider fall down he shacks his hand in pain but then smiles and walks off still happy that he got Yang's number but not realizing that bite will change his life forever.
