The drive was long and quiet, Luz unsure of what Eda had planned, and Eda knowing that this would probably hurt. When the car stopped, Luz saw an abandoned building a few miles away from the City.

"Why are we in Chestnut Ridge?" Luz asked.

"Because this is one of my many hideouts during my Prowler days." Eda said, "I have a few hidden around the city, but this one is perfect for what I have planned."

They got out of the car and went inside. Eda locked the door behind them.

"Don't worry about making noise, this place is soundproof." Eda said, pulling a lever on the wall.

Several walls flipped, revealing high tech consoles and monitors. Luz was actually impressed by how well Eda had this place set up.

"So, what are we here to do?" Luz asked.

"Oh... nothing much." Eda said behind Luz, removing her outfit, revealing her Prowler suit, "Just... training!"

Luz's spider sense went off and she backflipped over Eda's attack. Luz landed and looked at Eda in shock.

"Aunt Eda, what are you doing!?" Luz yelled.

Eda wasted no time, lunging at Luz again, swinging her fist at her niece. Luz dodged, but was very confused as to what Eda was doing.

"Come on, Kid, I thought you were supposed to be a hero." Eda said, "If you want to be a hero, you need to know how to fight!"

Eda quickly put her mask on and charged at Luz, swiping at her with the claws on her. Luz dodged each attack with no problem. She was fast and agile, so she cartwheeled away from Eda.

"I'm not going to fight you!" Luz said.

"You did at the construction site!" Eda said, throwing a knife at Luz.

Luz flipped away from it, as it hit the wall.

"I didn't know that was you!"

Luz did her best to not let Eda get close, but Eda was surprisingly fast. Luz's powers were the only thing that made this fight even.

'Okay, she's got the dodging down, now she needs to learn how to be on the offensive.'

Eda threw a smoke bomb down, which also let off a bit of a flash. Luz's sense of sight was very enhanced by her powers, so this was quite bad for her. She couldn't see and the smoke made her cough. Her spider sense went off, but she really couldn't do anything about that with the attack to her senses. Eda tackled her and slammed her into the wall, delivering a powerful punch to her jaw. Luz nearly fell to the ground, if it wasn't for Eda holding her by her shirt collar. Eda delivered another punch to her, this time making a stream of blood roll out of her mouth. Eda didn't let up and kept punching Luz three more times, before grabbing her collar with both hands and throwing her to the ground a few feet away. Eda walked over and delivered a kick to Luz's ribs.

"Fight back, Kid!"

Luz groaned as another kick hit her. Eda looked down at her and sighed.

'Okay, time for the big guns.'

"Camila would be so ashamed to have you as a daughter."

Before Eda could even blink, Luz kip upped and ran at her. Luz threw a fist that Eda barely dodged. Hearing what Eda said, something in Luz just snapped... and Eda liked it.

'Okay... now we have a fight.'

Luz rushed at Eda, throwing a punch, which she dodged. Luz threw another punch, which Eda managed to dodge again, but she was getting close to a concrete support beam. Luz threw another punch, which Eda was glad she dodged, because Luz left a massive hole in it. Eda retaliated by throwing a punch at Luz's stomach, which made the girl hunch over, and gave Eda the chance to raise her knee and knee Luz right in the nose. Luz stumbled back and was a bit dazed. Eda ran at Luz and began to unleash strikes on Luz. Delivering a punch to Luz's nose, which Luz tried to retaliate against by swinging her own fist at Eda. Eda blocked it and delivered an elbow to Luz's jaw, and then a punch right to her neck. Luz had all the air knocked out of her, which left her open to Eda's attack. Eda delivered four strong punches to Luz's stomach, then jumped up and gave a powerful side kick to her head. She then landed on the ground and ran at Luz. She delivered a drop kick which sent Luz into the wall with a thud. Luz was breathing heavily, mostly out of anger.

"Come on, is that all you got kid?" Eda asked, "I thought you said Cam taught you some moves... that girl never was good at anything honestly."

Luz let out a roar of pure anger and charge at Eda, grabbing her and slamming her against the wall. Luz was seething with rage. Eda just smirked and pressed a button on the wall next to her. Luz let go as an arrow went through her shoulder. Luz yelled in pain, before Eda grabbed her by the collar and delivered a headbutt to Luz. Luz fell on the ground with a groan.

"As your teacher... you failed that lesson." Eda said.

Eda walked over and broke off the arrow head off, letting her remove the arrow without have to pull it out the more dangerous way. Eda pulled Luz to her feet.

"Now, where did you go wrong?" Eda asked, and continued before Luz could answer, "You let anger consume you. While anger is good, you can't let it fight for you, especially since you only have a limited knowledge of fighting."

"I have fought against an army of people with guns." Luz said, glaring at Eda.

"Yeah, but you were thinking straight, you used your powers, you thought that through." Eda said, "But if one of them brought up your mother, you would've focused on that one person and everyone, including you, would've been shot and killed."

"What do you expect me to do!?" Luz argued.

"Use it to your advantage!" Eda said, "Use what I did to you, on the people your fight, make them want to target you, make them turn their attention away from their target, and onto you. Make them mad."

"How? By insulting their dead mother!?"

"There's more than that... you could make jokes, make it seem like you aren't taking them seriously." Eda said, "Now come on, we have more training to do, Webslinger."

Luz could only sigh, at least glad that the people that attacked the school are in prison, along with the person that killed her mom.
