Aphmau POV

Me, Nick and Cory were on a scouting mission to see the nearby land and search for any water source when we pass a volcano. Suddenly, three dogs run passed us, looking as it is finding something. I look at the guys before running with Cory towards where the dos were chasing. There, a lava mob was being cornered into the volcano by the dogs. Three men soon run passed is, not noticing we are here.

"Well look who we have here. A lava mob. We could get lots of money for your skin. Get him mutts!" The dogs start growling at the bleeding and panting lava mob but before they could pounce, I blow my dog whistle. It makes them stop and turn towards me.

"Leave him alone!" I shout at the men. The dogs run off from me while the three men grin at me.

"Well lookie here. We will become rich and have a little girl as our slave. That's what happens when a little girl like you tries to stick up for somebody. Get her boys." The man clicks his fingers, making them start to shoot darts at me. I dodge them all before letting Cory run passed me and knock them all out while I run up to the lava mob and help him up. Luckily, he doesn't burn me.

"Are you okay? Wait, why am I asking? Of course you aren't okay!" I help him on my back before running towards the base while the other two guys sort the men out. As soon as I arrive, Jin helps me take him to the infirmary where I bandage him up.

"Where am I?" I look up from my paperwork to see the lava mob sitting up and looking around.

"You are at the Sky Army's base. I brought you here after you collapsed. How do you feel?" I ask him.

"I feel fine. Why did you save me?" He asks me. I give him a gentle smile.

"The Sky Army is an army of people who have either been hurt or abandoned. We all try to save the world." I explain to him. He nods slowly. "So where do you plan to go now?" I ask.

"I-I don't know. My home was found so now I can't go back. I have nowhere else to go." He sighs.

"You can always join us. What do you say?" I ask him. He smiles.

"Thank you!"
