Zoron's POV

"Don't they ever give up?" John yelled.

"Don't you?" Eilene replied as another loud boom and a huge splash sounded.

As soon as they reached the ship, a Conqueror ship had been chasing them and blasting canons at them.

"This is different," John fired.

Another canon boomed, making them stumble.

"They're mad," Zoron exclaimed.

"They're Conquerors," Hope snapped, "They're always mad, for Tellun's sake, they're 'conquering' the world!"

Another nearby boom.

"Quick," Eric ordered, "Sail through a narrow river in the Hundred Isles. Their ship is two times bigger than ours. We might be able to lose them there."

"We might," Ivan muttered.

They started sailing towards the Hundred Isles. Zoron had already spotted some of the islands when more Conquerors ships appeared.

"They're going to 'conquer' our ship," John exclaimed, "Get it? Conquer, the ship?"

Everyone just stared at him.

Eilene rolled her eyes, "There's a time to joke around and a time not to."

Just then, a Conqueror ship had rammed into the side of Tellun's Pride and Conquerors started swinging into their ship.

"Are you sure they're not pirates in disguise?" Zoron asked as they started rushing forwards to help.

"Cut the whales free," Eric instructed.

"But how are we going to steer the ship?" Ivan asked.

"We have a steering wheel just in case," Ella answered.

A Greencloak was already rushing towards the steering wheel when a Conqueror had knocked the Greencloak out. Zoron ran towards the Conqueror and quickly kicked the Conqueror off the ship.

"Is he dead?" John asked.

"No, he's very much alive," Eilene answered.

"Well we're all gonna die when we hit those rocks!" Hope yelled.

Zoron looked and the ship was in fact going straight towards the rocks. More Conquerors were climbing on board and headed straight to the steering wheel.

"Quick, Zoey and Hope defend the right," Eilene instructed, "Me and John will defend from the left. Zoron, take the steering wheel."

"What?" Zoron exclaimed, "Why not you?"

"First of all, I don't know how to steer the wheel of a gigantic ship," Eilene explained.

"I don't either," he argued.

"There's a first time for everything," she went on, "And second, if the ship crashes it's your fault."

"No pressure then," Zoron muttered.

"Just take the wheel while we defend," Zoey snapped, who was fighting another Conqueror.

Zoron muttered something under his breath and took the steering wheel. All he could see was fighting.

"I can't see a thing," Zoron reported.

"Left," John gasped, "Turn left!"

Zoron started turning left, making the ship headed towards the rocks.

"I meant the other left," John exclaimed.

"There is no other left!" Zoron snapped.

"He meant right!" Eilene shouted.

Zoron turned a sharp right, making the ship tilt.

"Seriously? Other left?" Eilene said in disbelief, "Haven't you been educated, son of Lord Gaundor?"

"Of course I have," John snapped, "How can I concentrate when there are Conquerors coming left and right?"

"Can you two quit arguing and keep fighting?" Zoron snapped.

"Yes captain," John said, sarcastically.

More ships kept on appearing and Conquerors kept on coming. A Conqueror was heading straight towards Zoron but then Lazu scratched at his face.

"Thanks Lazu," Zoron gasped, "I'm glad you're doing your job properly."

"Hey, it's not as easy as it seems," Hope muttered.

"I hate ships!" Zoron heard Ivan yell.

"Ivan, Jef," Eilene called, "We need the talismans."

"Which talismans?" Jef asked.

"The Amber Leopard for speed, attack and power," Eilene said, "The Bronze Eagle to nudge the air or something, I forgot but you probably-"

"Eilene hurry up," John snapped who was wrestling with two Conquerors.

"What about the Marble Swan?" Hope asked.

"It makes the Nectar and quickens the hands but i'm not sure we can risk that," Eilene said.

"How about the wolf and falcon?" Zoey suggested.

"The wolf makes your senses of hearing and smelling sharper and gives prophetic dreams."

Zoron saw John shudder as if he remembered something.

"The Copper Falcon sharpens your eyesight," she finished.

"Can I have that then so I can see?" Zoron asked.

"Yeah, we'll be right back," Ivan said, and was already running with Jef towards Eric.

"Zoron, turn left!" Hope exclaimed, "We're headed toward's a ship!"

Zoron spun the wheel to the left as fast as he could.

"Woah, i'm starting to get a hang of this," Zoron said.

Ivan and Jef cam back with the talismans. John grabbed the Bronze Eagle, Hope took the Amber Leopard, and Zoron quickly wore the Copper Falcon. Immediately, his vision sharpened and he saw more ships to the right but a small narrow river to the left, big enough for Tellun's Pride to fit.

"Hold on tight," Zoron warned and steered the ship to the left.

The ship tilted dangerously to the side and Hope almost lost balance. Luckily, her Spirit Animal, Faith was there. Tellun's Pride sailed through the river just as the Conqueror ships almost rammed into them but got stuck for the river was too narrow. The Conquerors on the ship quickly jumped off. Everyone looked battered but fine.

"Good job, captain Zoron," Hope said.

"Why thank you very much," Zoron said, bowing.

"Hey stay focused," Eilene snapped, "You almost hit a rock."

"Sorry boss," Zoron muttered.

But he had to admit, Eilene did some quick thinking. They sailed through the river and back to Greenhaven.

Hope's POV

They had been sailing for days now and they started getting bored. So John invented this game called What Is...? You have to ask a question starting with what is and everyone had to answer the question. If you lie you do a dare. They kept on playing the game until night. Hope had learned very interesting things about each other.

Hope was on the decks, looking up at the sky. She always liked the cool air at night. They had two more days until they finally reached Greenhaven. But something tells her that it won't be a good day. She heard footsteps and already knew it was Zoron.

"I knew I'd find you here," Zoron said.

"Yeah," Hope replied.

Zoron must've seen the worry in her eyes cause he asked, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, it's just," Hope said, "I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen when we get back."

"You were never wrong before," Zoron replied, "but whatever happens, we'll always be together."

Hope nodded but didn't feel reassured. Then she felt a warn hand wrap around hers. She turned to Zoron who looked back at her calmly.

"Whatever happens," he said, "We will go through it together. No one will be alone."

Zoron smiled and Hope smiled back, "Always be together?"

"Always."

That's the end for that, actually we're nearing the end, kinda. Please vote and leave a comment on what you think. Stay tuned for the next chapters!
