Irene's POV

"Guys, look," Jef called.

They were back on Tellun's Pride III, heading back to the Hundred Isles to meet Adoni.

"What is it?" Irene asked.

"There are two words on the medal," Jef said.

They all gathered around him as Jef squinted to read the words, "It says Ursa Major."

"Shen said that Ursa Major meant the Great Bear," Irene said, "A constellation."

"And Eilene said that the sixteenth Great Beast was Ursala the Great Bear," Zoey added.

"And stars formed into a shape of a bear when the prophecy was given," Ivan whispered, "She must be telling the truth then."

"I've been looking through the book," Riley told them, "And there's this picture that I found."

Everyone gathered around Riley as she flipped to a page of the book where there was a picture of some sort of necklace or medal. In the middle of the medal, it had a picture of a bear and there seemed to be a crack that had split it into half.

"Could that be...the Titanium Bear?" Irene asked.

"We're about to find out," Ivan replied.

Irene looked up and saw the island in the distance. The island with the Staff of Cycles.

Hope's POV

After they had slept, the group kept walking once more.

"You know," Eilene was the first to speak, "I've been reading about the section of the Wyrm and the Many and I found something interesting."

"Why would you read about something your scared of?" John asked.

"Because it turns out to be really helpful," Eilene replied, "It says here that once the parasite enters you, in maximum of one or two days, you will turn into one of the Many. John had it for more than two days and the parasite has just passed the elbow."

"Why is that?" George asked.

"Probably because he's a Keeper who frees those who are captured," Eilene answered.

"Then that's a good thing, right?" Zoron said.

"Just tell me if something goes wrong," Eilene told John, "If you get dizzy or see or hear weird things."

"Yes doctor," John replied, sarcastically.

"I'm serious," Eilene said, "This is no joke."

"Yeah, don't worry," John said, "I'll tell you."

Eilene didn't look too reassured but just nodded. This was the first time that Eilene showed worry which she usually hid. There was a question that Hope had been meaning to ask her last night. She walked ahead until she was beside Eilene who was asking Haley some questions while the boys walked behind.

"So, Eilene," Hope asked, "What happened with you and John last night?"

"What happened with you and Zoron last night?" Eilene asked.

Hope blushed, "Nothing."

"Sure it was nothing," Eilene said.

"Come on, give us the details," Haley said.

"Care to tell us about you and George then?" Hope asked.

Haley blushed, "We're just friends. He's really kind and sweet."

Eilene scoffed, "Just friends."

"Sure you and John aren't just friends?" Hope teased.

"I'm supposed to be asking you that," Eilene said, "Since the both of you kissed."

Hope blushed deeper, "Don't tell me you and John didn't kiss last night."

"We were talking about Eura," Eilene insisted.

"I don't believe it," Haley said, shaking her head.

"I agree," Hope added, "I don't think you two are just friends."

"Want to know what we really are?" Eilene asked.

Haley and Hope nodded. Just then, John, who had been listening with the other boys, put his arm around Eilene's neck. Eilene seemed to have been surprised by the action.

"Oh doctor," John gasped, "I feel so dizzy. Do you have any headache remedies?"

"Not at the moment," Eilene replied, "but I can use my staff right now. It's easy and quick."

John raised his hands in defence, "Nevermind, the pain is gone."

"What did happen between you guys last night?" Zoron asked.

"I'd like to know the same thing about you and Hope," John said.

"Seriously, it's so hard to get answers out from the two of you," Haley exclaimed.

"We make a pretty good team, huh?" John told them.

"Yeah that's because you have me," Eilene said smugly.

"Sure it isn't the other way around?" John asked.

"There they go again," George muttered.

Riley's POV

As they finally reached the island, they spotted one of the tribes people from Adoni's tribe and escorted them back. They emerged into a clearing, Adoni right in the middle, the Staff of Cycles on his hand.

"Adoni, we're back," Riley said, "And we have Shai Lu Man's medal."

Riley handed him the medal as Adoni slowly took it.

He sighed, handing her the staff, "Protect the staff with all your life. All of Erdas depends on it."

Riley took the staff and she gasped as power suddenly went through her. The staff was both hot and cold. Adoni then twisted Shai Lu Man's medal and it opened. Adoni took something out of the medal and handed it to Irene. It was a compass.

"That compass should be pointing to the other half of Ursala's talisman," Adoni informed them.

"So it is true," Ivan murmured, "but how is Shai Lu Man related to the Great Bear?"

"There was a reason Ursala left after she had sensed the rot," Adoni replied, "A reason that I do not know as well. A reason that you must uncover."

Just then, one of the Greencloaks from the ship came running towards them, "Keepers, you must come quickly. There's something you all must see."

"Thank you Adoni for your help," Rily quickly told him and they ran back to the ship.

As they came out, Riley spotted another ship sailing towards them. A red flag with a black R.

Dun dun dun! (When you have nothing to say. Lol) I love mystery. Please vote and leave a comment on what you guys think. Stay tuned for the next chapter!
