Lacey's POV

"Woah!" I screamed while falling down the manhole. I really wanted to grab on to someone/something but there is nothing to grab on to and I'm in my squid form so it wouldn't be any different if there was something to hold on to. But with in a matter of seconds Autumn, Luna, Jaxon and I flew out the other side of the manhole with Autumn landing perfectly on her feet, Jaxon making the landing but stumbled a bit and Luna and I both some what made the landing, but I tripped over her foot making us both fall down. "Oof.. Sorry about that Luna.." I sighed, just sitting there, being to embarrassed to get up. Autumn and Jaxon both noticed so Jaxon walked over and helped Luna and I both up while Autumn giggled.

"It's okay that you didn't land it, it took me a few times before I got the hang of it." Autumn said while giving us a small smile. She turned away and looked at our surroundings. "Welcome to Octovalley, the home of the octariens."

"Woah.. " I heard Luna say letting out a shakey  breath. Since I wasn't focusing on the surroundings I was confused and looked up, making my jaw drop. looked like the outside.. but if you payed enough attention or looked close enough, you could tell it was all fake... A large painted dome to look like the outside to be exact... There was rusted metal everywhere, along with rotting concrete, making the air in the region musky. She could probably tell we were shocked by our faces. "Come on, there is a bit of a ways to go to reach our base where captain and the new recruits are meeting. The old base used to be here, but we built our own secret area somewhere now it's a even bigger and stronger prison for Octavio since he got freed twice in the snow globe making poor Agent 3 to do more work.." We all gave her a confused look. She sighed. "More will be explained when we get to the base, now we should hurry. All of Blue's recruits are waiting.. Follow me" Autumn said turning around and started walking to an area behind the manhole that looked pretty new. This concrete wasn't cracked or rotten and it looked in decent condition compared to everything else.

"Are you girls sure this girl isn't just an Octoling prisoner trying to lure us in?.." Jaxon asked being suspicious of the orange inkling girl.

Luna shrugged her shoulders. "If she is an Octarien prisoner I hope there is a ledge nearby I can jump off of..".
I gasped. "Luna you would jump into one of these abysses?!" I said shocked looking over one of the ledges. You couldn't even see the bottom, it was just darkness.

"Hey it's better than being an Octarien prisoner, we may be dead but at least we aren't hurting any of our kind.." Luna sighed. "Now we should probably follow Autumn before we get lost." Luna said shaking her head, and the idea off while quickly trying to catch up with Autumn.

Jaxon and I both nodded our heads in agreement and quickly followed after Luna and Autumn. After about 3 mins or so of walk and invisible ink rails, I know very dangerous, we reached a decent size building that was made out of clean metal and it looked like it had at least be 2 stories tall and it had running electricity.

"Welcome to the base of Squidbeak Splatoon." Autumn said walking up to the door. "Home of the legendary Captain Cuttlefish himself"

"Wait the Capt'n Cuttlefish that was in the great turf war?.." I said a bit shocked. I had no clue the guy was still around. He is like a legend, being in the great turf war and all.

Autumn nodded her head. "Yup the one and only." She answered knocking on the door. Not long after that u can hear a voice from behind a door. It didn't sound like it could be Captain Cuttlefish's, or an older squids voice since I haven't heard Cuttlefish's voice. But it definitely sounded like a young males, and not to be rude, But I don't think Captain Cuttlefish is a young squid kid.

"What's the password?" The voice on the other side of the locked door answered in a dark sounding time.

"Blue it's Orange, and there is no password you goof" Autumn giggled. "I'm back with the new recruits." She finished and then shortly after the door opened revealing a young inkling boy with blue tentacles wearing fake contacts, Zink Layered LS and some Purple Hi-horses for shoes. The blue tentacle inkling flashed us a small smile before giving Autumn a big smile.

"Hey Orange! Welcome back~" He chuckled before wrapping an arm around her. Jaxon, Luna and I mouths both dropped open, in shock and confusion. Orange and Blue squids were MAJOR rivals.. They were worse than Pink and yellow inkling fued.. Just for a comparison... When people in my clan get in arguments with the Yellow squids, we might get shoved, and get a scratch or something along with emotional scarring but that's it.. The blue and orange squids get the emotional scarring and trips to the hospital... With severe injuries.. that's how bad it is ... So seeing those two getting along is quite surprising.

Luna leaned over and whispered so we could hear. "You guys see what is happening too right? I'm not going insane?" She asked.

Jaxon shook his head no. "No we see it too.. And did he just call her Orange?"

Autumn turned her attention back towards us. "Well our captain is bad with names so he just calls us by numbers or tentacle colors." She started and then turned to look at blue. "Since this is the only place we get too see each other, and we are here all the time, we just use our code names."

The blue tentacle inkling boy chuckled. "I think they are more confused about this~" He smiled and twirled her around. "But Orange is right, I know her name is Autumn, we just got used to the code names so we call each other by those instead." They both are explaining it well, it's just a lot to take in. "I know it's a lot to take in so you can take your time to get used to it" He answered apparently knowing what's on our minds and smiling.

I returned the smile. "Thank you for understanding" I replied.

"It's not a problem, now let's get you all inside. So all can meet the Capt'n and other new recruits to get your new gear, or protective armor as Capt'n calls it." He chuckled.

"Okay, sounds like a plan. Thanks ____?"

"Oh I'm sorry, I forgot to mention my name" He chuckled. "I'm Cyan, but you can call me Blue since that's what I go by down here." Luna, Jaxon and I nodded. "Now come on, we don't want to call in unwanted attention"  He said looking around. "Come on, let's go." He finished and walked himself and Autumn or Orange inside before gesturing for us to enter. Jaxon looked a bit uncertain, but Luna didn't hesitate and stepping inside.

Since I didn't want to seem rude or hear anything from Jaxon I stepped inside as well. I heard Jaxon sigh my name and say "What on Earth are we getting into​..." And then footsteps. Letting me know that he as well, stepped inside.
