A/N: Hey this isn't past me this time, I just wanted to let you know this was a scrapped part, so it's very short. But I thought I would at least give it a chance to be in the spotlight, even if it's in an unfinished state. The last line may confuse you so I'll just tell you now that it was a part of the storyboarding phase of this part. Enjoy!

It was finally the new year, Mizuta's health had been improving. She was able to stay awake and even converse a bit, but it still sounded like she was struggling to talk.

Her hair and tentacles were looking better as well, with most of them nearly normal colour.

Amelia had brought breakfast for Mizuta.

Mizuta: "Hello, Amelia."

Amelia: "Hello Mizuta! How are you feeling?"

Mizuta: "Better."

Amelia: "That's good to hear, are you ready to try walking after you have some breakfast?"

Mizuta: "Yes, I'm ready."

Amelia: "Alright, just eat your pancakes and we'll give it a try."

After Mizuta ate her pancakes (which she enjoyed), Amelia helped her up. When she was standing up, her legs started shaking, her legs felt weak. Amelia held on to her and kept her up. After some time, Mizuta managed to stand by herself. Amelia slowly let go and Mizuta was standing by herself.

Amelia: "Well done Mizuta, you did it!"

Mizuta: "Y-yeah, I d-did it."

Amelia: "Try walking to me Mizuta!"

Mizuta: "O-okay."

Mizuta raised one leg and moved it forward, placing it on the ground. She then did the same for her other leg, but as she was putting it down her leg gave in and she fell over. Amelia managed to catch her before she hit the ground.

Amelia: "I got you don't worry, you did a good job. We'll try again tomorrow."

Mizuta: "S-sorry."

Amelia: "No no, don't be sorry! You've been doing really well, you're recovering a lot faster than expected. Let's put you back in bed for now."

Dan was in the bed room listening to Ebb and Flow with the headphones. The song was so satisfying to listen to. It sent shivers down his spine, not from fear, but from excitement. The song was just so...amazing. He didn't know how to describe how he felt, but he felt so happy and confident.

Dan: "Wow, Ebb and Flow feels so empowering, I feel like I can overcome anything! I should do a remix, or maybe a mashup. I have a few ideas."

Pearl: "So you like it, huh?"

Dan jumped when he realised Pearl was at the door.

Dan: "Jeez Pearl, knock before you enter."
