He comes off as dry and cold. He's unemotional and after the 25+ years under the soviet union, he just learned to accept being cold and independent. Although he is cold and unemotional, he is a giant push over and tends to give in when he shouldn't. He judges himself a little too hard and when he gets angry, he gets verbal because he learned that from being treated terribly by Sergei.
He has a short temper and doesn't take kindly to when people question him. He doesn't laugh all that much and is hard for him to show appreciation towards anything.
