Sabine POV

Yawning, I entered the cockpit where Hera was.

"You needed me?"

Hera turned around upon hearing my question. "Yes, there is something wrong with the nose gun. Can you look at it? "

"Sure." And I left the cockpit again towards the nose gun.

Along the way I didn't see anyone. Probably all getting some sleep, what I also liked to do now, but ... duty calls.

Hera would be doing that better. I mean sleep.

I came to the nose gun Ezra normally operated. His helmet was lying on the ground. I picked it up and there was a stab in my heart.

Oh kid.

But I had to work so I put it behind me. The sooner I was done, the sooner I could go back to sleep.

At first there seemed nothing to be wrong with the operation of the gun so I checked it on the outside. There were also no problems; maybe the move was a bit stiff. So I oiled the hinges what could never hurt whit which that problem was solved also.

Then the problem has to be at the wiring. Back inside the room where you operated the gun, I crawled under the panel.

Aha!

"Hera," I said through the com. "One of the wires is burned through. Probably we used it a lot lately. Do we have some left? "

"No, I do not think so. Go to the market. Take Kanan and Ezra with you. It is time that Ezra got some fresh air and I think Kanan want to keep an eye on him. "

"And Zeb?"

"Well, if you can wake him, take him also. Only I would not try that. "

"Well, I'll do it with specter 1 and 6."

"Good luck to them wake up." She laughed.

While I was talking to her, I walked at the door of Zeb's and Ezra's room. Just now Kanan was sleeping here instead of Zeb.

Before I had the chance to open the door, it was opened by Kanan. He was startled when he saw me. "Sabine? What is it?"

"Hera said you and Ezra are going to the market with me."

"Well, you can wake him up. I'm just going to say something at Hera. Wait for me outside the Ghost."

I nodded and he left me alone. Inside the room Ezra was sleeping.

"Ezra?"

In response, he mumbled something to me and curled up into a ball.

"Hera said you need to come along with Kanan and me to the market."

Then he let out a little grunt, but still went straight down and jumped off the bed.

And I really had to admit that Hera was right: Ezra was in bad need of some fresh air. He looked like a zombie!

"And a good morning." I told him sarcastically as he walked past me. "We had to wait for Kanan outside the Ghost." I let him know before he wouldn't be able to hear me. First I had to go get my guns.

Ezra POV

Ok normally I don't find it a problem to go to the market for anything, but now after I almost did not sleep, I prefer to lie on my bunk.

But yes Hera had other ideas about that.

So I was now with Kanan and Sabine searching for a stupid wire for the nose gun. Did they really need me for this?

Sabine and Kanan went inside the shop while I waited outside for when troopers would show up.

Or worse Kallus or the Inquisitor.

A sharp pain began to gradually stronger in my head that made me dizzy. In order not to fall, I leaned against the wall, breathing heavily.

Man what a headache. I was like someone wanted to escape from my head or something.

"Ezra run!" Cried two voices in my head.

Uh what?

I guess I could not stay much longer conscious. The dizziness increased along with the headache.

Someone supported me and I felt a glance at me so I looked up straight into Kanan his worried eyes.

But it weren't his eyes that I felt on me.

I began to search the market with my blurry eyes.

There in an alley stood a person dressed in a black cape. His face hidden.

From there I could feel his eyes on me on and I just felt him laugh.

"Had listened to those two idiots."

I heard two voices which were different from those of before, say.

Then everything went black.

And last I saw the man turn around and walk away.

Kanan POV

We went into an another store and Ezra was again waiting outside.

Sabine was talking to the seller which went at the back and yes indeed came back with the proper wire.

Finally.

You would think it was less harder to find.

We could go back to the ghost.

Because even though Hera was right and that Ezra needed some fresh air, I didn't liked the idea.

And on the Ghost I could keep a better eye on him.

I could not be soon enough out of this store. Once outside I could hear heavy breathing.

My head shot in the direction where it came from and I saw Ezra leaning against the wall of the store.

I quickly shot at him to support him.

He seemed to notice my presence as he looked up at me. In his eyes I saw all the emotions that went through him. Pain, confusion, and much more.

His gaze shifted to the other side of the street, to an alley. Only nobody was there. I looked back at Ezra, whose eyes were large and his body had stiffened. So I looked back to the alley, but still no one.

Where are you looking at?

The weight on my arm grew.

"Wow." Ezra's body went limp in my arms.

"Specter 6 is out." I heard say Sabine.

"Bring him here quickly. I try to get the Ghost as close as possible on the edge of town. "

"See that you do not get seen specter 2."

Sabine put away the com and also checked on Ezra.

I tapped with my finger softly against his cheek. Maybe he would wake up.

"Kanan it don't think that will work, I guess. We can bring him better at the Ghost. "

I nodded and picked Ezra up in my arms, bridal style.

Some people gave us suspicious looks, but if there was one thing about the people of Lothal, it was that they always mind there on business.

And preferred to avoid problems.

Because they often found us by themselves more often than we liked.

And now wasn't an exception.
