Well I just got braces today, so that's where this idea came from😂

This takes place during season 1 when Ezra is 14/15

     "Come on Ezra!" Hera shouted from the Phantom. Ezra groaned. Hera was going to take him to the orthodontist... He hated that place.

      Ezra THOUGHT that he teeth were fine, but a couple visits ago the dentist decided he needed braces.

     "I mean who's ever heard of a Jedi with braces?!" Ezra growled to himself as he got off his bed and turned to walk to the phantom where the pilot was patiently waiting for him.

        Ezra walked down the hallway as slow as possible. He really didn't want to go. The teen passed Sabine, Kanan and Hera's cabin doors, his head slouching.

     He finally reached the Phantom and the Twi'lek.

     "Took you long enough, now come on!" The Twi'lek urged, pulling the teen into the ship. Ezra's head slooped down. Hera put a hand on his shoulder.
"Ezra, it's going to be ok, it's not gonna hurt." Hera smiled.
    
       "I know but I'm going to look bad..." Ezra complained, "I mean c'mon, a Jedi with braces?" Hera signed.

    "Kanan had braces when he was your age." The pilot laughed. Ezra gasped.

      "Oh my gosh, really!?" Ezra started laughing hysterically.

      "It's really not that funny, but yes, and he showed me a picture since I didn't know him at that time." Hera stated, pulling a picture out of her piloting suits pocket.

     The picture showed a small boy, no older than Ezra. Obviously Kanan, though it said Caleb Dume on it in small print. He had braces and Jedi Robes on. Ezra smiled but then raised an eyebrow.

       "That looks like Kanan, but whose Caleb Dume?" Ezra asked the pilot. Hera's face went red.

      "Um... No one... Er... Forget you saw that please..." Hera sighed, acting like she just got in trouble and put the picture back into he pocket.

     "But-" Ezra started but was interrupted, "Ezra we have to hurry to your appointment!" The Twi'lek desperately convinced.

     "Ok then..."

     At the orthodontist, Ezra was in the Patients chair, they were polishing his teeth before putting on the braces.

      Water, air... And a weird sucker thing. They put a plastic item in his mouth that kept his cheeks open and his mouth from closing. Ezra winced, then glanced at Hera, who was still in the room. Hera gave him a thumbs up which made him feel a bit better. 

   Then they started putting the brackets on, first on his top row of teeth and then on the bottom row. It was quick and painless.

   Next was the wire. They twisted it in the teens mouth making him flinch quickly each time. It didn't hurt, it just felt weird.

     "Ok Mr. Bridger, miss Syndulla, you are clear to leave now." The orthodontist exclaimed.

      The two thanked him and then returned to the Phantom. Ezra sighed, scared to look at himself in the mirror.

     "See that wasn't so bad!" Hera exclaimed.

      "Hm... I guess..." Ezra frowned, pushing away the mirror in the Twi'leks hand.

      "You look fine, kid!" Hera exclaimed, finally becoming successful in giving Ezra the mirror. Ezra looks at himself, and gave a fake smile to Hera, when he really hated the new, orange brackets and wires on his teeth.

    Later, back on the Ghost, Ezra was walking back to the room he shared with Zeb. As he was about to open the door, the young Mando girl across the hall from him, door opened. Ezra growled, he didn't want Sabine to see him like this.

    "Come on, Ez! I wanna see!" Sabine begged.

     Ezra mumbled something under his breath before turning to face her. Ezra gave her a fake smile, showing her his teeth. Sabines face brightened.

     "Ezra, you look so cute!!" Sabine squealed.  Ezra's face suddenly went red, and then a real smile appeared on his face. 

     Sabine left as he finally opened his door. Ezra sat down on his bed and used the force to grab the closets mirror. He looked at himself again, but more closely this time.

"Yeah... I guess this isn't so bad!"

Anyway yeah, braces aren't actually that bad Ezra!
