(This takes place during homecoming, and the idea was from SkyeHasTyphoomerangs ^•^)
  This was originally supposed to be all in Kanans POV, But I was having trouble with it and I had to restart 4 times, so I eventually just gave up on putting it in Kanans POV whoops

Cham, Numa and Gobi walked into the Corelleian ship which Cham's daughter called, The Ghost.
The trio was met by Hera Syndulla and four others Cham had not met yet. Cham saw two human males, with lightsabers clipped to their belts, a colorful human Mandelorian, and a strange purple guy who was a species which Cham didn't know.
        The taller of the two males, a Jedi by the looks of it, was extremely nervous, Cham noticed.
       "It's Been a long time, father." Hera stated. Cham was still upset that she had left him, so he turned directly to the nervous human.
        "Ah, you must be the Jedi I've heard so much about." Cham smiled, somewhat amused by the humans nervousness towards him.
      "Jarrus. I'm Kanan Jarrus sir." The Jedi stuttered. Cham started to wonder why Kanan was so nervous, he doubted it was because he was a war general. Cham saw Hera sigh, and knew she was doing a mental facepalm.
"This is our crew... Sabine, Ezra and Zeb." Kanan sweat. Cham could tell my the looks on his crews faces that he had told their names wrong, and smirked.
"Cham Syndulla, at your service."

Kanan watched Hera carefully, mainly making sure she was safe, but also because she was beautiful and Kanan couldn't resist staring, as they were on the star destroyer.
He was worried. Cham Syndulla had betrayed them, his crew had stunned them all and knocked Hera out. (Don't be scared Kanan, it's your future father in law^•^)

     They did it. They stopped Cham from blowing up the ship.
     "We're stronger together." Cham whispered. Hera smiled. After watching the sky for a bit, Cham walked to the door way and then stopped. Kanan and Hera thought he had left the room.
      Kanan picked Hera up and spun her around. Cham's eyebrow went up. Kanan put her back down. What Hera did next shocked Cham. She kissed Kanan. Cham's eyes widened. Kanan hugged Hera, as Cham quietly left the room, not wanting to blow his cover now. Cham stopped to think.
      Cham knew Hera wasn't one to just fall for anyone, so Kanan had to be special to her. Of course he was, Cham had seen him in action, Kanan actually saved Hera from a rebel spy trying to get revenge on her, in the control ship. (That didn't actually happen, I just needed Cham see Kanan lol)
Cham decided that he needed to have a little chat with Kanan before he left. At least get to know him better. Cham could tell that they had been together for awhile and probably care for each other very much. He decided he liked Kanan.

    Cham called Kanan over privately as they were heading docking bay so Cham and his soldiers could leave.
     "Yes, General Syndulla?" Kanan asked as he walked over.
     "Sit down, my boy, I want to talk to you." Cham smiled. He could see Kanans nervousness growing.
      "I know about you and Hera." Cham saw Kanans face pale.
      "UH sir I can explain I rea-" Kanan stuttered. Cham smirked.
     "Calm down." Cham smiled, setting a hand on the Jedis back, "your a great man, Kanan Jarrus."
"I mean I really- wait what?" Kanan questioned.
"You heard me."
"Yup... Sir, we would have told you, even though you and Hera didn't get along, but we were afraid that you wouldn't like her with an outsider... In other words a non Twi'lek." Kanan gave a small smile.
"Hm, yes I guess I'm not too keen on that part... But it takes a lot to get Hera to like you in that way, she only lets certain people. I really just want her to be happy... She's happy with you."
"Father come on! Your ships here!" Hera shouted from across the room.
"Ah that's my cue." Cham got up, putting a hand on Kanans shoulder, "take care of her."
Kanan nodded.

(Now back to what we saw In the episode lol)

Cham And Kanan walked over to where Hera and her crew were. Cham signaled for Hera to come talk to him privately. Hera followed him as he walked.
"When you left, I was heartbroken." Cham stated, Hera looked down guiltily, "but I understand now. Your a dreamer, like your mother was... You got so much from her."
      "But I got my leadership by watching you." Hera smiled as she hugged her father.
      They stopped hugging and Cham put both hands on her shoulders.
      "I am proud of you, captain Syndulla." Cham smiled, then turned to leave.
    As Cham was walking back to his ship with Numa and Gobi, he looked back to see the Ghost crew standing together smiling, watching him leave. Cham winked at Kanan, and then hopped in the ship, right before it took off.

Authors note: sorry if I messed up on some of the dialogue, I didn't remember some of the conversations word for word, and I didn't have time to rewatch the episode.
