The crew were on their way to the local market for supplies since they were running short on things (like nearly every week 😧). While walking, they stopped. "We should split up to get the things we need" Kanan told them.

"Sabine and Chopper, you go look for good suplies. Hera and Ezra will look for power converters and me and Zeb will look for heat generators. Understood" Kanan explained to them. They all agreed and splitted up.

Hera lead herself and Ezra into a allyway when Ezra stopped suddenly. "What's wrong?" Hera asked turning to him. "We have to get out of here. This ally is a met up point for a gang" Ezra told her. "How do you know that?" Hera asked.

"Because I got I to trouble with them once here. Now come on let's get out of here" Ezra told her with fear. Hera knew it must be bad if Ezra was frightened, since he wasn't really that frightened of stuff.

As they turned to get out of the allyway, they seen 3 people standing at the way they came in. Hera and Ezra stood in fear for a second before turning to exit out the other way, but only to see 3 more people there.

"Ah if it isn't the little runt himself again. Haven't seen you in a while" one guy chuckled as he came closer. "What do you want Gred" Ezra asked, trying to hide his fear.

He remembered the first time he came here. He was just passing through when all of a sudden, he was attack. He remembered how they kicked him and punched him and one of them even used a blaster to stun him.

"Well pipsquick, I'm here because you are in a very important place to us. And one rule here is anyone who comes through here that isn't apart of are gang, gets beaten up" Gred laughed as he came closer.

Hera and Ezra took a steep back. Hera looked at Ezra and was suprised to see that he had a calm look. He looked focused and looked ready for something.

At that momont Gred ran at them, and also at that momont, Ezra swiftly moved to the side, suprising Gred. Befor Gred could react, Ezra was able to trip Gred backwards and fall to the ground.

When he did, Ezra pulled out a knife and held it at his neck, while also covering his eyes with his free hand. "What was that about beating us up" Ezra asked in a cold emotionalless voice. "Okay okay we're sorry. P-pleas let me go" Gred pleaded.

"Why should I? For all I know, you could go off and get more of your friend's. I might as well slit your throat out out now while I have the chance" Ezra said in the same voice as he held the knife tighter.

"Ezra!".

Ezra snapped out of his murderous state and looked to see Hera. He looked back at Gred and stood up. "Your lucky this time but I swear, if you mess with us ever again, I promis next time, I won't hesatait" Ezra said couldly with a black face and walked out of the allyway, Hera following close behind.

As they walked down the street, they walked in silence. Hera was still in shock a bit. She never seen Ezra being so cold and serious in her life, and the fact that he was ready to kill someone was also worrying.

Hera then decided to speak. "Ezra, what happened back there. Were you really going to kill that man?" Hera asked. Ezra stopped and sighed.

"Hera you have to understand that when you live on the streets, there is one rule. Survive. Its a kill or be killed function here on Lothal. They strongest survive will the weak parish. I guess back there with Gred, some old senses came back" Ezra explained.

"What do you mean 'senses'?" Hera asked. Ezra was quiet for a momont. "Here you must understand that when I lived alone on the streets, it's not safe, I had to learn how to defend myself. I will admit I have done some things on the street's that I regret and that still haunt me, but I had to" Ezra explained yet again.

They stood in silence for a momont. "Eh come on, we should find the other's now. We don't want them to think we got cought by the Empire now would we" Ezra laughed as he started walking forward down the street.

"I must write this down when we get back home" Hera muttered to herself as she walked with the young Jedi padawan.
