Firestar gives you a tour of the wonderful Starclan territory. Each den is huge, and most are made with stones, clay or mud. Rivers and brooks run through the territory, each one crystal clear and cool. The land on a map is a close replica of the living land, except much prettier and always night.

"Our land is whatever you make it to be. There are different layers to this land as well, the Living Land, the Dark Forest, Star Camp, Starlight Meadow and the Infinite Space layer. The higher you go in these levels, the more easily you can manipulate the land with your own mind. As long as you have good intentions of course. The dark forest is closest to the living land which is why it is so easy to get pulled there, even if you are still alive. Right now we are in the Star Camp level, where most of us live and trade. Starlight Meadow is where most us go to chill, talk and catch prey. Infinite Space Layer is absolutely infinite in all directions and is the easiest to manipulate so our most creative go there usually. Today I'll just show you through the Star Camp layer." Firestar explained.

Eventually you come to a towering silver crystal. You gaze at it with wonder. "Ah yes. There are many of these crystals scattered around this layer. This is the light crystal, and is the most important crystal. It keeps our world together and traps the Dark Forest so they don't come into our layers. It also gives the moon the bright shine it has, without it the moon goes dark." Firestar explains. "Ah there you are, Thrushpelt. Come on over." Firestar beckons to a sandy gray tom who was gazing up at the crystal with thoughtful eyes. "Oh. Sure." Thrushpelt stood up and stretched before he began to walk over to you and Firestar. "What do you need?" Thrushpelt asked kindly. "Would you like to mentor the new cat? I know you've been wanting a new apprentice ever since Stonefur had his ceremony." Firestar asked. "Oh! Of course. I would love to." He puffed out his chest a little with a big smile before looking at you. "Here, I should introduce you to the other apprentices. Come on." He trotted off, and you follow close behind, leaving Firestar by himself to gaze at the crystal. There was something somewhat mesmorizing about the crystal.

Eventually you come to a big star in the ground like the one Bluestar was guarding, except this one was glowing green. "This is an enchantment. You'll see several of these scattered around the ground. Only very experienced warriors can cast enchantments, or fly or go through walls for that matter. This one is a bounce pad, created by Gray Wing, one of the very first clan cats, and the wisest in my opinion." As soon as his paw touched it, he was launched into the air with such a force it nearly knocks you over. As soon as you touch it, the same happens, except now you are the one in the air. The land whisks past you in a blur but as you slow, and drop, a sudden peace enfolds you, it's so pretty up there. You land softly on a path that many paws have tread upon, Thrushpelt watches your expression with a smile and soft eyes. "Right, come along." Thrushpelt said, following the trail. You walk along the trail, and you feel very calm. Bugs sing quietly, the wind whispers in your ears and the grass rustles softly.

Up ahead a black and white tom sits impatiently, his tail and ears twitching every few seconds. "Calm down Swiftpaw. This is why you haven't come to terms yet! You always rush everything." A pale brown tom with black stripes snapped. "How could I come to terms with a dog? I got killed by dogs! Such a stupid death!" Swiftpaw hissed. "That's the kind of thinking that is gonna keep you an apprentice." The pale brown tom pointed out. Thrushpelt cleared his throat, and the two turn towards you and Thrushpelt.

"Are you the new cat? I mean, there are a bunch but nice to meet you anyway. " Swiftpaw meowed, maybe a little too fast. "Thrushpelt is your mentor? Nice. Longtail is cool and all but sometimes he's a bit snappy." "Well maybe you should ask Thrushpelt to mentor you then." Longtail hissed, seeming a bit hurt. "I was kidding you old mouse dropping. Calm down." Swiftpaw rolled his eyes, earning a big frown from Longtail. "I swear he's only gotten more annoying in Starclan." Longtail growled, a hint of playfulness in his eyes. "Anyway, you're new so let me show you around." Swiftpaw meowed, starting down the trail only to be stopped by Longtail. "Ah, ah. No you don't. You need to talk about your death with me so we can come to terms with it or whatever Mr. Kittypet big shot says. You've been putting it off all morning." "Uggh. Fine." With a big pout, Swiftpaw walked back over and sat down heavily. "Right, lets go. We probably shouldn't interrupt Swiftpaw's training right now." Thrushpelt meowed, leading the way down the trail.

They continued down the trail, eventually running into a pale grey tom with darker flecks of gray scattered on his fur. "Oh. Hey." The tom frowned looked at his paws. "Hello Ashfur, how's your training going?" Thrushpelt asked gently. "Don't talk to me like a kit. I nearly murdered several cats, I think that's far from being a pitiful kit. And you mean my special training? Same as before, getting almost nowhere." Ashfur huffed. Thrushpelt frowned, "Well... Have a nice day." Thrushpelt meowed before moving on, Ashfur grumbled something that you couldn't make out.

"Here we are, my favorite spot. Under the willow tree. This is where I excepted that I had died from old age, one of the easiest things to come to terms with. But I also excepted that Bluestar did not love me the same way I loved her, and would never. That was the hard part. But there is always a way to overcome the bad." Thrushpelt explained. "Here, sit. Let's talk about your death. It's a hard topic, but a necessary one to discuss in the afterlife."
