So for one of my classes,

Over the past two weeks, we've been briefing through 16 mysteries, and next week, each of us are going to research our favorite one.

Now, before I tell you my favorite one, I'll tell you about the class' favorite

Roanoke

"But what is Roanoke?"

In the late 15'oos

England sent a boat with people on it to colonize North America.

The colony's name was Roanoke,

So, Things were going great,

Until the leader of the camp went back to England for more supplies...

So he was gone for a few years....

When he returned to the colony, he was shocked to find the colony completely abandoned, no buildings, no people, no NOTHING!

All that was left...

Was the outermost fence... and a lamp post in the middle of the town with one word carved into it...

"Croatoan"

Pretty spooky right?

Now....

This one's an honorable mention:

Atlantis...

Yeah! I'm serious!

The class got a kick out of this one.

Mainly because, every other mystery we briefed after that one, some kid managed to link it with Atlantis

Amelia Earhart disappearing: Atlantis

Voynich Manuscript: Atlantis

King Arthur: Atlantis

Mary Celeste: Atlantis

Stonehenge: Atlantis

So on and so fourth...

Now that I've droned on long enough,

Would you like to hear about my favorite mystery?

"No... no we really don---"

GOOD!

My favorite mystery was the Voynich Manuscript.

So the gist is, is that researchers have found this book a while back,

And it's in a completely alien language.

Many weird, foreign symbols with no form of punctuation that match no language on earth.

That's not what's really weird...

In this book,

It contains a wealth of information of many things

Weather,

Astronomy

Botany

Cosmetology

Pharmaceutical advances

Balneological .... stuff....(ech... Naked women in bathtubs... eww..)

And another thing is,

Out of all of the plants illustrated in the book,

Only about a handful can be confirmed..

The rest...

Well... most have described them as 'unearthly'

And..

Well...

That's about all I know.

.... to me, these kinda things are interesting.

Eh?

Anyways...

I'm going to stop talking now.

Bye bye Brudunskies

Peace.
